Some are, some are not celebrating Thanksgiving day today. We had ours last week but a good many states would not change from the traditional "last Thursday in November."

It was clear & bright in the morning but got cloudy toward evening.

We were busy at the mill again - "hand over fist." We quit late. Then Jane & I hurriedly took Eunice & Val to Marksberrys for "dinner." We had baked ham, a big one served on a platter. We all ate till we nearly bursted. Then we sat around & played cards - mild ones. It was late till we got home.
