A bright Sunday morning awaited us as we awoke from a good night's sleep. We enjoyed a nice light breakfast.

At Church it was Children's Day. The children put on as good a program as has been given there, it seemed.

Jane & I were entertained at Uncle Ike Hershey's along with other Brackbill children.

It was hot but we enjoyed it. Harry, Val & I went swimming at home. Then it rained & gusted. Pearl H. was in from Fulton Co. We all had supper there (Garden Spot) & enjoyed a nice evening.

We skipped church which was just supposed to be a kid's party.
