The fact that it was Monday again, didn't increase my desire to get out of bed. There was a wonderful white killing frost everywhere & the weather was invigorating.

Ross has stopped working at the mill & left us a man short again. We were simply busy.

After work I went in home & helped Harry to pick apples till dark. The harvest is great & pickers are few & busy. We had a good supper & enjoyable evening listening to the radio.

Jane & Romaine came bout ten & took me home to bed. They had been at a guild party.
