I slept a little between the hours of one to three. It was a wonderful experience when I later watched the dawn steal upon us. When John came, about six oclock, I went home for breakfast & got my dinner.

John & Groffie left for St. Louis on a Purina tour. Allen & I played around till the middle of the afternoon. Then I went home and burned the paper in the cellar.

After supper we cleaned ourselves up. Ethel came & went again and so we retired.
