Things were about the same at home this morning except, maybe, my stomach.

At the mill it was different than any other day yet. John was away and we weren't too busy. The men were all around and we should have gotten along fine but the fellows were just lazy and as a result we all worked an hour overtime.

For supper, Jane & I went home to the farm. After supper, we got apples ready to make cider and apple butter tomorrow. We also celebrated Dad's 58th Birthday with Yuningers & Robinsons.
