We were awakened early this morning, about 6 oclock, by something wonderful. The something wonderful was the most gentle yet most abundant rain I have ever enjoyed. When we got to Church, 3 hours later, it had almost ceased. Then it got hot.

Our dinner at Uncle Dan Eshleman's would have been perfect, but for that heat. We enjoyed a muddy little swim over home before supper there.

We worshipped with the young people of the S.S. district churches at Gap in the evening. Then we went to Young's & had a piece of my lucky watermelon. The moon is now wonderful.
