Twas early enough this morning and I had to wait a while on Groffie. I was sleepy and quite tired all day. We were terrible busy with quite big orders and it was a little bit hot. I stood it well, as I always do.

After work Jane came for me and we went to Brackbill's Meadow to an East Branch Picnic. There was quite a large number of young people from many churches. We had a swell time with swimming, eats, ball game and ending with a nice campfire service.

Shorty will leave us tomorrow & so we said "goodby" to him.
