Just another day in many respects, yet no two days are very nearly alike.

The sky seemed to promise a little or big rain soon.

In the afternoon at the mill I had a different kind of a task. I was shoveling & digging the banks by the tail race—broadening it.

After supper I mowed the lawn and got my hair cut. Mrs. Newswenger visited Jane and talked and visited. A thunderstorm seems to be brewing.
