We were going to lay in bed a while this morning and just naturally enjoy ourselves, but at seven o'clock the doorbell rang and we had to let the landlord in to make repairs.

We transported my ten chickens from back in garden spot and fixed up a little. After dinner Betsy came and we all went over home for a grand reception in honor of the Bride and Groom by the groom's parents.

After a wonderful feast and lovely evening we, four of us, went to Safe Harbor to see the moon on the river. It was a wild goose chase, but it was nice. We were late getting to bed.
