Again today comes. Probably to Eunice & Val a day of immense happiness, of big celebrations, for it marks their wedding anniversary.

I have felt lower than an eel's belly all day and now as I am sleepiest, feel lowest. I was late for work. Then we got real busy toward the middle of the afternoon. John went home early &we worked late.

Mother is sick in bed. Supper "ain't what she orter was."

I got a Dr's examination to see if I am fit to marry—totally uncalled for, but exceptionally conventional.

Choir practice was bum as usual. I sat 2 hrs at Youngs doing nothing, just too tired to come home.
