The morning found us ready to back to the mill for more fun, action and hard work. Hard work is the correct term to use for we all work till we can't stand up.
This week has been very unusual at the mill for we seem to be doing 2 wks. work in four or five days.
After a good but hasty supper, the boys, all except Dick went over to Fausts to catch chickens. We had a sporting time. Some of us went to Green Dragon afterwards & had more fun. I got home late.
Commentary
This is the only time in the journals to date that any alcohol consumption is hinted at.
