Now Jane seemed lazy this morning again, for she lay in bed for a long time after I was up.

It was still raining a little this morning and even now I can hear the water running down the rainspout.

We weren't extra busy today. Allen came back at dinner, pretty weak.

Jane went shopping toward evening, and dinner (supper) was late. We ate a lot and carried on later. I drew a balance in my books. Then it was bed-time.
