Saturday - a different sort of a day again. We had just enough orders to keep us busy till noon. After that we went home. Groffie treated us to ice cream.

Everyone was making the best of a fine spring day at home by planting peas and beans. I rested an hour and then washed my car in the face of an incoming or threatening thundershower. I finished before the sprinkles of rain came, but not before the wind had blown dust all over the wet surfaces.

In the evening Jane & I played Chinese Checkers at Uncle Ralph's. I didn't win a single game.
