Mamu mechs body

You're group aims their cannons at the giants body. "FIRE!" You scream as your rockets stream towards their target. The rockets hit, and the mech stumbles and walks backwards a step. Your rocket hits the machines rocket module, which explodes and blows the mechs entire right side off. Burning and mangled, the mech lurches up and with its left arm fires its rapid-fire laser turret at your group. In its damaged state, your small group may be able to take the thing down. Another group, currently in a furious firefight with a Zarktonian regiment, beckons to the captain to come over and help them. He leaves responsibility to you. What do you do?
