Things I Remember
My name is Andrea Richards, and it's my distinct pleasure to have you reading about me today. I'm 19 years old, born on December 7, 1988. My hobbies are sewing and knitting, and I like to read very much. As long as I can remember, it's always been very important to me to be good and helpful to other people. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you and whatnot. I'm studying to become a nurse after I finish my schooling, and I'm doing rather well at it. I don't date very much, I guess I'm a little old fashioned about that. I'm waiting for some storybook meeting with my one true love. You probably think that sounds naive and silly, but I'm willing to wait for it. I really thought I'd met that man in Curtis, but things just soured in the relationship. He was so possessive and protective I found myself almost suffocating, and I could see in his eyes how much it broke his heart every time he saw that he'd hurt me or made me uncomfortable. I still see Curtis and worry about him sometimes, he just seems so broken up inside, like he's fighting some kind of battle in himself. I'll just have to do my best. Curtis also had another quality I want to find in a man, he never looked at me for my money. Even though I dress conservatively, and live on a low budget, my family is rather wealthy, probably why I grew up to be a little on the fragile side, they were always protective of me too. I'm starting to make lots of new friends in college, and things are really looking up, this should be a wonderful year.
Things that I think about
I've never told anyone, but there's a certain guilty pleasure in overextending myself for another person. The way a person looks at you or thinks about you when they see you give yourself for them is exhilarating. Does that make me a bad person? I worry sometimes that I might just be charitable for that feeling, rather than to make people's lives better, oh dear...
Things that Other People See
I'm fairly tall and rather thin. I've got a pale complexion with a small touch here and there of makeup. I like to wear orange and pink shirts a lot. Usually solid color and button-front. Jeans and slacks are the standard order, and a nice pair of soft shoes. I like to carry a greenish-blue bag at my side to keep my schoolbooks and papers in.
