THE GAMES

HOW TO PLAY (preferably 4 or more players | 1 Judge, 3+ Searchers)

One person is the "Judge". The judge will decide a topic that the remaining players (searchers) will seek as a picture. Once the searcher finds their link, they give it to one of the searchers, designated "The Link Submitter". The link submitter will gather all links and place in any order they wish, then submit them in the group chat. The link submitter sends the links so that the judge wont know who submitted what link. The link submitter may tell the other searchers what # he/she placed their link at, mainly for an easier know-of and to remember if their # is called. The judge will then look at all submitted pictures, and whichever they like, call the # of the picture. The person who submitted the winning link is the next judge, with the judge always being the next round's link submitter.

  • Note 1: The link submitter has the option to look at all pictures before they submit (would be for the best, see Note 3). If they notice two or more pictures are the same, it's acceptable to submit them. It'd just be bad if all doubles were dissed off for something different. The submitter may NOT leave out anybody's link or use someone's submitted link as their own and have it appear twice.
  • Note 2: The link submitter has one disadvantage. Honestly being played, if they find a link, and later someone else submits the same link, it would be the link submitter's best interest to find their own link. That case isn't very common.
  • Note 3: When and if the link submitter looks at the links, they should let that searcher know if their link is unable to be seen, see if the submitter or linker can fix it so that it can be seen. One easy solution, is to right-click on the image and "open image in new window". Especially for long URLs, doing this eliminates the unnecessary link extension. Sometimes when loading a picture, you see a faded background, which is where the picture found comes from, those are examples of long URL codes. That's one of the cases where if you see the picture, right click and select "open image in new window", so all you see is the image with nothing but white outside of it, and the URL code will be a lot shorter.
