What you feel is wrong (Daisie)
From Badrp
During RP with many people, Daughter's character became incapacitated and was being cared for by the other Teen Titans. Daisie, per usual, forcibly took control of the situation, regardless of the players' desires. During the discussion, she will be once again incapable of differentiating between IC and OOC: because she repeatedly justifies her actions (and clearly thinks they were the only correct ones), it is Daughter who is in the wrong and her attempt to explain her problem with Daisie's actions are an attack.
Dutiful Daughter | Hello. would you care to talk about what happened earlier? As two adults? |
---|---|
Daisie | If you are. |
Dutiful Daughter | I want to state right now, that ----- is her own person. She always has been and always will be. And once and if she ever finds out what has happened, she won't be pleased. I on a personal level am very surprised anyone is acting like ths is some sort of personal attack. |
Daisie | I don't believe I've ever acted like ----- /isn't/ her own person. |
A classic Daisie belief: "If I don't SAY or BLATANTLY INDICATE something, then I never communicated it at all." I'm afraid actions speak louder than words, even when the actions are merely being written by people online. And of course your petty words speak pretty loudly too. It's also worth noting that her belief does not extend to other people, only herself.
Dutiful Daughter | No, but by having Daisie act hostile and bossy towards her team mates has in a way shown that she views ----- as her property. ----- views Daisie as a mother figure, NOT as her mother. Her mother is dead and that is an issue she has yet to really fully resolve. She doesn't want to replace her mother. She just wanted someone to be there for her when things got out of hand and she couldn't go to her team mates. |
---|---|
Daisie | First off, Daisie isn't trying to replace her mother. That is absolutely the last thing on her mind. |
Uh, yes, I don't doubt that Daisie never once thought, "I will replace Daughter's mother!" But Daughter just told you how her actions may be construed as such. Lack of conscious intent does not disqualify ACTUAL INTENT. But Daisie is obviously completely lacking in social skills, so she's unable to see exactly how her actions affect other people.
Dutiful Daughter | But to an outsider, particularly those on her team, see it as that. |
---|---|
Daisie | Secondly, the only time Daisie acted the least bit bossy was when ----- was a danger to herself and others. Which is generally a good time to decide "yeah, so-and-so shouldn't be making their own decisions". |
Daisie | Daisie respects the Titans. And I'll point out that it was Robin who started the fight, not Daisie. |
Daisie | If the Titans have problems with Daisie, they should talk to her about them instead of attacking her. |
Dutiful Daughter | In that scenario both robin and speedy were highly offended that Daisie would come into their home and headquarters and basically say "You have to do what others tell you to do." that'd be like Robin coming into her house and saying that she couldnt do something. ----- has been and will always be their team mate first and foremost. Anything an outsider says in their home counts for nill. |
Dutiful Daughter | Did they hit Daisie? Did they strike her or push her physically? |
Daisie | Attacks can be verbal. |
Dutiful Daughter | works both ways. |
Dutiful Daughter | Daisie coming into the tower and bossing them around can be viewed as an attack. |
Daisie | I've admitted she was very bossy that day. |
Daisie | It seems like you're unwilling to really discuss this. |
You did not admit she was bossy. You justified her bossiness. Daughter, having just demonstrated such bossiness was not, in fact, the smartest, wisest, kindest thing to do, must now be cut off before such blasphemy reaches any part of Daisie's brain that still has higher level functions.
Dutiful Daughter | oh? How is that so? I contacted you did I not? |
---|---|
Daisie | If you feel an overwhelming need to assign blame, you don't need me here for that. |
Daisie, hon, EVERYBODY knows it was your fault. The fact that Daughter is even talking to you is evidence she's willing to work and play with you more. That, however, requires you to admit you did something rude, if not borderline wrong, and that's fucking impossible, pretty much.
Dutiful Daughter | No one here is in the right. Not you, not them not I. We're all in the wrong. |
---|---|
Daisie | That isn't what you were saying before. |
Dutiful Daughter | No you were reading it as you saw fit. |
Dutiful Daughter | I've already talked to Robins mun about this. |
Dutiful Daughter | I don't mind you or anyone else being -----s friend. But I think perhaps the relationship between Daisie and her has gotten out of hand. |
Daisie | Well, it was -----'s idea to call Daisie mom. |
Dutiful Daughter | Yes, it was. But when did it get to the point that Daisie decided what was best for her? |
Daisie | When ----- was clearly very very ill, because somebody had to get ----- help and Daisie happened to be friends with the appropriate sort of doctor. |
It's the NEXUS, you cunt. There are doctors and deus ex machinas everywhere. You were not the only solution. You were not the best solution. You were wrong. Period.
Dutiful Daughter | And Daisie felt that it was best if she took charge because? |
---|---|
Daisie | *sighs* Because somebody had to. |
Daisie | Now, if you'll excuse me, you're back to assigning blame and not really discussing things, and I have things I'm expected to finish tonight. |
Dutiful Daughter | There's a fine line between taking charge and pushing others out of the way. Robin and Speedy both were trying to help. Lea(?) was trying to help. And she did. |
Daisie | Have a good evening. |
Dutiful Daughter | I'm sory you feel that way. |
Dutiful Daughter | If you feel it best, please sever all ties with ----- and the titans. |
Dutiful Daughter | Good night. |
Dutiful Daughter | I'll put you on block now. |
