These are, to the best of our knowledge, Kali's alts. Some of them have fallen into disuse after being outed (Jane, Moondragon, Athena), some of them still pop up every now and then (Captain Marvel, The Vision, Conan).
A list of the ex-mods:
- bastard-john, who played a variety of well-loved alts such as sgt_preston and sgt_rock. Her farewell post has been deleted. At the time she stated that her departure was due to personal reasons and not anything to do with the game. Many suspect this is diplomatic and kind, but not true.
- doomworld, who quit very early on when Kali flamed someone in another community.
- askollieandhal, who took a break due to a family situation, and had to be periodically called back to deal with Kali's messes. He quit, and though initially attempted to make amends with Kali because of her generosity in the past, he has now given that up as well. Olliemun plays at JLA Watchtower.
- bloody-bottle, who finally quit after constant guilt trips from Kali, not to mention being trolled anonymously by her.
- gods-voices, who quit in September of 2005 after Kali realized that Metatron also played Adrian. From then on was an unceasing wail of how she'd been lied to and deceived and tricked.
Her new co-moderator, notsirsam, appears to be capable of more reason or at least pretending. If there are complaints about him/her, I've not heard them. And hey, anyone looks good next to Kali.

Dear Kali: Thanks for dropping the most offensive of your odious habits -- the one where you pretend we can't tell you're the man behind the curtain. You finally got the message, I guess, that you do talk a certain way. You do have a distinctive voice. We CAN tell it is you. So how about if you then explore the idea that we may be correct about the way your words are interpreted? ZOUNDS: you might be wrong. Astonishing, I know. Yes, you come off patronizing, condescending, and passive-aggressive. Yes, you have tried to bully people with your gazillion alts into doing what you want, or into leaving. I'm glad we had this talk. |
