Lord of Riverrun

The Lord of Riverrun rules the riverlands. The current lord is Hoster Tully.
The Tullys have been lords of Riverrun for a thousand years. During the Wars of Conquest Edmyn Tully, Lord of Riverrun was the first of the river lords to desert Harren the Black and join Aegon the Conquerer. After Harren's death at Harrenhal Aegon granted Lord Edmyn the dominion of the riverlands.
Hoster Tully promised his twelve year old daughter Catelyn to Brandon Stark
282 AL Catelyn married Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell, in his brother Brandon's stead, and Lysa married Jon Arryn, Lord of the Eyrie at Riverrun.
Eddard and Catelyn spent the first year of their marriage apart with Eddard off at war in the south while Catelyn remained in Riverrun with their infant son Robb. Afterwards Catelyn rode to Winterfell.
