Pycelle, Grand Maester of the Citadel serves at King's Landing and sits on the small council.
The Hand of the King, Jon Arryn, Lord of the Eyrie, fell ill and died after a short while. Unable to save him, Grand Maester Pycelle gave Jon milk of the poppy to ease the pain.
