Balon of House Greyjoy, Lord of the Iron Islands, King of Salt and Rock, Son of the Sea Wind, Lord Reaper of Pyke, is wed to Lady Alannys of House Harlwaw. They have four children, Rodrik, Maron, Asha and Theon.
During Greyjoy's Rebellion Rodrik was slain at Seagard and Maron Greyjoy was slain on the walls of Pyke, leaving Theon, a ward of Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell, as his sole living son and heir.
