The show was popular for a while, but it got hated on more and more, and now everyone pretty much considers the show and its creator a big fat joke. RUMIKO TAKAHASHI IS NOT A BIG FAT JOKE!!!!!!!! She is known as The Princess of Manga. However, the plot DOES get a little repetitive, but after the anime "ends", that's when the manga starts providing more plot development. Anyway, big, confusing plots aren't really her thing, for a typical Rumiko Takahashi manga, read Maison Ikkoku. Or Ranma 1\\2. Those are a lot better.

Like Shippo. He's not THAT bad.

The saga continues in Inuyasha: The Final Act, which AS has finally picked up after years of anime fans sort of wondering how the story ends but not caring enough to go find out on their own.
