Bio
Samson Monroe is a character from La Revolution. Samson was first introduced in chapter 5, "It Happened One Night". Samson is Hikki's assistant, which makes his job doing most of the planning that tends to be overlooked. In this chapter, Samson also met Clarice Rowe who he was quite fond of from their meeting. Since then, Samson and Clarice's relationship has become more serious and it's quite obvious that Samson cares greatly for her. Samson is also frequently the victim of Hikki's sexual advances. These tend to irritate him greatly to the point where these types of situations have begun invading his dreams. Strangely enough, in Samson's dreams the encounters aren't nearly as stressful for him and are sometimes what could be considered pleasurable. (These dreams are also an annoyance of Samson's.) These dreams only began occurring after Samson and his sister began to live at the Cafe with Hikki and Clarice. (Clarice came along to defend Samson from Hikki and his advances.) Samson ultimately ended up having to sleep in the same room as Hikki as per their agreement. In chapter 29, Hikki tells Samson that this was only so he didn't do something he would regret, probably referring to something involving Clarice.
Samson originally joined the Syndicate to help create a life that would be better for his younger sister Anne in their country. He feels that since she has been taking care of him since their parents died, he owes it to her. Anne has also been making Samson his meals for some time now, especialy after an incident in which Samson nearly burnt their house down, and the fire department needed to be called. Samson also says that he has a strong sense of justice, which is another reason he gives for having joined.
Samson is generally caring and somewhat naive in nature. He seems like the type that would tend to trust people too much. In chapter 16, Father John Sadar gives Samson a glass cross, a sign of invitation to join the Order of Glass, although later Samson states that he has no intention of joining them.
Samson has been kissed in the fanfic by: in order, Emiri, Hikki, and Clarice. (The only kiss that he actually initiated was the last, with Clarice)
Chapter Guide
Chapter 5: It Happened One Night
This chapter marks the first appearance of Samson. In it, he meets Clarice and hears Emiri for the first time over his communicator. Samson's sense of justice and caring for other people is also presented to an extent in this chapter.
Samson gets to be badass with a gun in this chapter. Doesn't do much else though.
Samson goes on a mission with Father Sadar to get information from Comdot. During this he's held captive at the estate by Emiri.
Chapter 13: We Didn't Start the Fire
While held in Comdot, Samson is harassed by Emiri. He eventually makes it out though, tearing off a part of his arm. He later goes to some manner of party or something. In this chapter, he gets unwanted kisses from both Emiri and Hikki, poor fella..
Samson is victim to Hikki's advances, and talks with Father Sadar. Sadar invites him to join the Order of Glass. Later, Samson and Clarice are captured by Argeno as an attempt to lure Hikki to coming along to Comdot as well.
Chapter 17: The French Connection
While captured in Comdot (again), Samson and Clarice discuss their reasons for joining the Syndicate and Samson sees something that scars him for life.
Samson attends a Syndicate meeting.
Against his better judgement, Samson lets Hikki "cop a feel" on him to cheer him up about the death of Van.
Chapter 23: When It Hits the Fan
Samson is again bombarded by Hikki trying to make excessive contact with him. In this chapter, it would mostly be Hikki trying to fall into his arms.
Samson moves into the Cafe with his little sister along with Clarice after agreeing to sleep in the same room as Hikki. He also head butts Spice to save Clarice and is again, hit with relentless flirtations from Hikki.
Samson has his first dream of Hikki, making him incredibly nervous about his sexuality. He then runs to Clarice where they share a kiss to make sure he's straight. To his dismay, Clarice completely forgot about it.
Dominic gets confused for Samson by Hikki early on, and Samson gets his nickname "Chu." He also sees another thing that scares him greatly, Hikki in his pink bathrobe, and sleeps in the bathroom with Clarice again. Samson also talks about actual Syndicate stuff for once after a while of them doing nothing. Samson meets Hei.
Samson has another dream of Hikki and then when Clarice accidentally knocks him out, gets CPR from Hikki. Samson swears to protect Clarice.
Samson tells Hikki that he loves Clarice and Hikki tells him to go tell her.
Two weeks after Jake leaves for the Order of Glass, Samson is restless with the lack of communication. He's incredibly moody and angsty, worrying Clarice, Hikki, and his sister. He finally gets in contact with Jake and the two of them discuss the Order and Father Sadar (whom Samson no longer trusts). After a row with Clarice, he receives a well-earned slap from Hikki.
Samson is still angsty, and goes out looking for Sadar in the middle of the night. He finally finds the priest in the park (although who finds whom is debatable) and confronts him about his betrayal of the Syndicate. Refusing to accept Sadar's explanation of the Order of Glass' "no connections, no regrets" policy, and incensed that Sadar would expect him to leave the people he cares about, Samson returns the glass cross that Sadar had given him. Later, Samson and his cohorts hear DangerCille's story about the future and learn that Landon is teh ebil.
