Nobility in Aryez are derived from the ancient noble families of Aryez.

All nobility in Aryez are referred to the title Khor. They may be knighted, upon which they can add "Ar" as a prefix to their names. Those who can call themselves Khor can pass down their title through inheritance. However, knighthoods are not hereditary, and famous and distinguished Aryezi may be knighted for life even if not of nobility.

The king or emperor of Aryez is known as Ruha or Tur in Aryezi. He is the only Mejorkhor or great lord of Aryez.

The most powerful lords under the King are the Paramount Lords or Arkhors, of which there are twenty. Sometimes these people are referred to as Dukes.

Below the Arkhors are the Inkhors of which there are a few hundred, some of whom are more powerful than others. Sometimes translated as Earls, Counts, or Marquis.

The lowest group of nobility are the Zeras, of whom there are thousands. Translated sometimes as Barons.

Some people may be knights without any other noble title.
