I like languages a lot so I decided to make a languages page, talking a bit about languages.

Useful to Learn:

English, French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), German, Japanese, Portuguese, Hindi/Urdu, Malay/Indonesian, Swahili, Farsi, Turkish, Korean, Italian. Almost everyone in the world is either fluent or partially in one of these languages, either as a first or second language. You can probably communicate with anyone in the world with these languages.

Difficulty of Languages

If your native language is English, the following should be how hard languages will be for you:

TYPE 1 (Easiest): Scots, Dutch, Afrikaans, Spanish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish "Easy Indo-European Languages"

TYPE 2: Portuguese, French, Italian, Romanian "Less-Easy Indo-European Languages"

TYPE 3: Hindi/Urdu, Farsi, German, Swahili, Malay/Indonesian, Icelandic, Irish Gaelic, Turkish, Bengali, Armenian, Hebrew, Pashto, Filipino, Azeri "Moderately Hard Indo-European languages and Easy Non-Indo-European Languages"

TYPE 4: Russian, Korean, Vietnamese, Greek, Lao, Cambodian, Lithuanian, Amharic, Tibetan, Mongolian "Hard IE languages and Moderately-Hard Non-IE Languages"

TYPE 5: Finnish, Hungarian, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Arabic "Hardest Languages"
