28: Promise to the Oppressed

1. God said: “The day is coming when all the

2. proud and evil people will burn like straw.

3. On that day, they will burn up and there will

4. be nothing left of them. But for you who obey

5. Me, my saving power will rise on you like

6. the sun and bring healing like the sun’s rays.

7. You will be as free and happy as calves let

8. out of a stall. On that day when I act, you

9. will overcome the wicked, and they will be

10. like dust under your feet. That is my promise.”

Commentary: This is a literary passage stating the power of God to destroy evil and deliver goodness. The founder also noted that although seemingly evil things may happen, everything that happens occurs for a higher purpose, a good purpose. And God will reward those who suffer for Him.
