34: How Pleasant

1. How pleasant on the mountains are the

2. feet of the messenger of good tidings,

3. proclaiming peace, proclaiming good, proclaiming

4. justice, proclaiming salvation; saying to

5. all men: “your God reigns.”

Commentary: This poetic book describes the wonderful feeling people get when they realize that God is the ruler of the Universe and source of everything good in it. This is proof of the existence of God in human form as a messiah who comes again and again.
