60: The Important Prophets
1. This is the list of all the important prophets who appeared to humanity.
2. There are other prophets not on this list, but these are the most famous
3. and important.
4. The major prophets are: Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad , Zoroaster, Mani,
5. Krishna, Ram, Nanak, Mahavir Jain, the Buddha, Lao Tzu, Mencius,
6. Confucius, Bahá'u'lláh, and Tolkien. Also include Plato, Aristotle, Newton, Einstein, Asimov, and Lucas.
7. There are many minor prophets and saints. They are from many cultures
8. and many religions.
9. There are many other prophets
10. besides these listed. God will not let their names be forgotten either. Heed
11. the words of all these prophets. When making your lists of prophets, feel free
12. to add to this list. Many more prophets will turn up in the future.
13. Many more prophets you will discover by looking at the past. Scientists, philosophers, and pagans can be prophets. Any wise person can be one.
14. Finally there are the wise figures Anya and Aryeztur who contributed to the establishment of Aralan.
Commentary: This book lists the most important prophets (religious figures in human history, all of whom were great people inspired by God; some may have even been avatars of God). These are not the only prophets or wise human beings (any wise person is a prophet), but these are the most important, influential, and closest to God. Sixteen prophets are listed (some may count eighteen if the contemporary figures of Anya and Aryeztur are included). The prophets listed (in no particular order; a key attribute of each prophet is described; these attributes are by no means mutually exclusive) are:
• Abraham: Jewish prophet, teacher of loyalty.
• Moses: Jewish prophet, giver of laws.
• Jesus: Christian prophet, teacher of love.
• Muhammad: Islamic prophet, teacher of brotherhood.
• Zoroaster: Zoroastrian prophet, differentiator of good and evil.
• Mani: Manichean prophet, describer of the soul.
• Krishna: Hindu prophet, teacher of duty.
• Ram: Hindu prophet, teacher of commitment.
• Nanak: Sikh prophet, teacher of unity.
• Mahavir Jain: Jain prophet, teacher of peace.
• Buddha: Buddhist prophet, pathfinder of happiness.
• Lao Tzu: Taoist prophet, teacher of harmony.
• Mencius: Confucian prophet, giver of justice.
• Confucius: Confucian prophet, teacher of ethics.
• Baha’u’llah: Baha’i prophet, teacher of equality.
• Tolkien: encourager of progress.
• Plato: Greek prophet, teacher of rationalism.
• Aristotle: Greek prophet, teacher of logic.
• Newton: Scientist prophet, founder of modern science.
• Einstein: Scientist prophet, discoverer of higher truths.
• Asimov: path blazer of human destiny.
