Aryez is a country, cultural entity, and geopolitical region in the world of Arel. It lies to the east of Arzdar which is on the continent of Endor and the west of Arzor. Aryez is a chain of islands in the Central Ocean (Enear). Aryez has always been constituted as an Empire under the rule of the Mejorkhor Dynasty. Aryez is one of the world's ancient civilizations and is the source of much beautiful art, culture, and science.

Population

The population of Aryez is 378,000,000. 12.7% of these people live in Shahar and 11.9% of these people live in Asij.

Language and Religion

The official and national language of Aryez is Aryezi in its Modern Standard Form. Aryezi is spoken and understood by virtually the entire population (99%). The only other languages are languages spoken by immigrant groups and tribal minorities, almost all of whom are bilingual.

Aryez is divided into subdivisions (provinces) or inzdarai (singular: inzdar), which are furthermore divided into counties (ininzdarai) and districts [including cities and metropolitan areas] (inininzdarai), and locales [village-zones].
