You can change the appearance of your signature to anything you like within preferences, and even add a handy link to your talk page. I have done this for both of my accounts now, using the following code in the nickname box, and not checking the 'raw sig.' box:
- James]]<b>\\</b>[[User talk:Admin|<sup>Talk</sup>
which changed my signature to:
