Evander Cynebeal is a student at the Silverburg Memorial Military Academy in Seika and has spent the past ten years studying under the schoolmaster, Apple. Known as somewhat of a prodigy, word of Evander's talented mind and cunning tactics have spread far and wide, and he is perhaps the most well-known student at the academy. He is one of the main protagonists in Suikoden: MAW.
