A Moon is defined as a body made mostly of heaver elements such as Iron. A recent and famous IPSA conference declared that moons also must be spheres, otherwise they are just orbiting asteroids. The largest proper moon in the solar system is Ganymede with a diameter of 5262 Kilometers.
