Appearance/Clothing

Not exactly a specimen of Meta-Human beauty, Yuki's sleek, almost feminine body is heavily scarred. He has three long thin scars running across his back, seemingly parallel at first glance. There are about 12cm separating each one, the lowest running through the lower regions of his kidneys. He has 2 on the front of his legs, again each 10cm apart, the first being 4cm or so above his knee. He has over 20 on the inside of each leg and on each wrist, which were self-inflicted. The only one of these scars that he ever, though rarely, wears openly is the wide gash, just left of the center of his chest. He has one final scar running from the corner of his right eye down to the midpoint on his jawbone. Though technically warn openly, that scar is hell hidden by his snowy-white bangs. His hair in general is medium length all around, Barely covering his ears, except for his bangs which naturally fall to the right side of his face, hiding everything from his nose to his ear. His eyes are a deep blue, azure almost; the right of which has five silver swirls. One starts at the top and swirls 72 degrees around the circle of his iris before stopping at the pupil, the next swirl starting at that point on the outside edge of the iris. Short of a really gusty wind, his hair always covers this eye and the scar by it.

Yuki does not stand very tall, only slightly above 173cm(68 inches). He is a very slender build however with very little muscle tone and ribs quite visible, especially when the lungs are full of air, slightly compensated for by thicker than average skin. He weighs approximately 57kg (127lb) and has, as previously stated, a more feminine build. This is evident by hipbones that jut out a little and a severe lack of muscle mass to define him as male. And with sparkling eyes and slender face, it's quite hard to tell at first glance. His skin is very pale, and smooth, as white as his name would indicate (Yuki= Snow or Lucky, though in that sense he's yet to get lucky so I'd say it means snow in this case ^^;; ). As if scars marking on his delicate skin weren't enough, he also has three tattoos. One is the Kanji for "chained" in black ink on the outside of his left upper arm. The next is a pentagram tattooed onto the center of his lower back, filling the space between the bottom scar and his tail-bone. The third, and most intricate is a crescent moon with female Fallen-Angel sitting on it, a black cloth draped across her arms barely covering her breasts as she licks the blood from one of her wrists. This mark resides on his midriff, just over his right kidney.

His wardrobe has a rather large variety to it. His favorite outfit is a pair of combat boots, black bondage pants, baggy enough to hide things in, and a black button-up shirt that doesn't have a lot of excess fabric. On more formal occasions, he has a scarlet silk shirt, a pair of shiny black shoes and black dress pants. With almost all outfits, even the formal ones, he wears a pair of black gloves and leather gauntlets, which hide the scars on his wrists, should his sleeves slide up for whatever reason. He also wears three hoop earrings through his left ear and one through his right, almost always of white gold or silver. He has one piercing on his concealed eyebrow and one more on the center of his bottom lip, both of which hoops as well.

Modifications Since Enrollment

Yuki’s appearance has changed a bit since he first applied. As teenagers do, he’s grown: a full three centimeters and half of a fourth to be exact, bringing his height up to 176.5(5'9.5"). He’s also grown a little heavier too, his build keeping up with his height. Though, it’s really no more than a kilogram or two so it’s not worth calculating exactly. As he’s not cut himself in a while, the scars that were already on his wrist have begun to fade a little. The ones from his surgery have only grown with him, however, only deepening their mark on his flesh. His hair has grown as well, a thin layer hanging down to his shoulders and curling. His hair has gotten out of control all around for the most part. Though, he’s trimmed his bangs so they hang long, but fall all over rather than just in front of his eye and scarred cheek. Also, he has a new scar across his hand; it's a long burn mark going across his life-line on the palm of Yuki's left hand. This was inflicted by Chrono early on when the cyborg came to AHS.

Wardrobe wise, he’s expanded himself into new fields. Though he’s still a fan of big, baggy bondage pants, it’s become more common for him to wear a pair of dark blue jeans or even his school uniform around campus. He’s been known to wear a button-up shirt more often as well, usually still sticking to white, black or red. Now though, he’s taken to wearing the top two buttons open more often, showing the tip of all that remains of the wide gash that once adorned his chest. As he’s been wearing his face more open, he’s found that drawing less attention to his eye would be a better idea and removed the piercing that once hung from its brow. He’s also removed the one from his lip, hoping that the hole will close eventually. The three through his left ear remain, however, as does the one in his right which has been joined by another silver stud. Yuki wears similar studs in the top two holes on his left, with a small hoop in each the bottom piercing on each ear. Another piece of jewelry he always wears is the locket with a picture of him and his sister, Angel, in it .

He no longer bothers with the cloth gauntlets or gloves. For the most part, his scars are hidden by long sleeves and anything else was just him being paranoid. Other little changes have occurred in his foot ware as well. Combat boots certainly aren’t the most comfortable for walking in all day and he mostly resorts to those when he needs something durable for training or more than usual physical activity. For regular days with things like walking through Nature or just soliciting around campus, a pair of high top’s are usually enough to keep him comfy Also, he’s taken to a brown suede jacket for cooler nights, though those are rare this time of year. The occurrence of this particular article of clothing will increase as Summer fades into Autumn.

Personality

Now this has been a surprise. The boy who came to AHS as a meek and anti-social otaku has grown up so much. “...Become the person I pretend to be” is a quote that quite accurately explains how this all started. From trying to seem more pleasant and keeping himself appear as if nothing was leaving him distraught, he started to be come so. Though, this is only what set things in motion as he began meeting knew people around campus. That drove him to be more talkative and social. Yuki’s been known to seek out social situations from time to time, even when they don’t involve the people he’s grown close to.

Surprisingly, when he came back to find the dorms claimed by a graduate’s pyromaniac tendencies, Yuki had grown enough attached to the people he lived with there, some far more than others, to completely forget about material things that were lost. If this fire had happened when he was freshman, he would have given as much hell as he could to the bastard responsible. But alas, as all of his friends ended up alive, his anime collection was the last thing on his mind. A huge change from the year prior. He’s gained a bit of a protective streak in him over his sister and friends, even though he knows it’s not required for the stronger ones. It’s still in his nature to worry.

His eccentricity has died a lot since he came here. Though he’s still goofy and a tad bit angsty, his confidence has soared from where it used to be. Sure he still likes edgy music and less bright environment for his dorm room. That’s just who he is. But, he doesn’t hate himself or repress it anymore. Now, he just is does what does and is who he is with out as much care as to who sees him. Yuki no longer cares if people see his scars, though he’s still a little nervous about people who he tries to impress, Melody being one of them.

As with his new confidence and, well, outlook on life in general, the second-rate masochist has given up slitting his wrists and thighs. Perhaps on a really stressful occasion, the old habit will resurface, but as of now it’s mostly under control. Also, partially driven by his want to protect the people dear to him as well as feeling that he has to impress his combat instructor, Chrono, Yuki is very much driven to better himself physically. And from the few brawls he’s gotten himself into around AHS, he’s also grown quite fond of the adrenaline rush from a decent fight. It was an amazing feeling to push the cybernetic body he once hated to it’s limits now that he’s accepted it as a part of who he is.

It should be noted that much of his old personality outside of the self-loathing is still intact. Yuki still has a stutter when gets nervous and he will probably always never be loud and boisterous. He’ll likely never get passed the hopeless-romantic bit in him either. Though, that really hasn’t lead him astray yet either. It should also be noted that he’s always been the loyal type, but to those he cares about, he’s become fiercely so, a tribute to his protective nature.

Old Persona

Well, certainly not the most confident of all people, Yuki tries his best to hide that with a slightly outgoing personality. He doesn't tend to speak unless spoken to if he's uncomfortable, such as in front of the class. However, he would not wait for such an occasion should he feel the urge to talk to a cute girl sitting next to him. He keeps his voice almost always calm and stern, almost never louder than as if he was talking to someone a few feet from him. He keeps a slight grin on his face most of the time, as if to make him seem more pleasant. He's rarely happy with himself and is almost always desperately thinking of a way to find a more peaceful life. He longs for someone he can spend the rest of his days with and is really a hopeless romantic.

His pastimes are mostly daydreaming and anime, as well as poetry and drawing which he took up in middle school. He has the attitude of an obsessive fan-girl over some his more favorite characters, which can be both disturbing and adorable to innocent onlookers. He writes in a diary frequently, which houses most of his poems and drawings. He's rather embarrassed about them and blushes most deeply when someone compliments him on them. He has a rather large collection of manga and anime DVD's that he's really protective over. If anyone touches them, it usually means one of the rare occasions in which he'll loose his cool attitude.

He's eccentric to say the least, but perhaps not by the standards of his fellow weird people here at this school. Because of always being picked on for being feminine, he found away to get back at all those guys at school by scaring them out of their minds by coming on to them. This left a lasting mark of him not only flirting with girls, though he's really only attracted to the opposite sex. It's been known for him who is normally not one to draw attention to himself to show up in a skimpy female outfit just weird people out, of course this is only if he's being picked on a lot as he doesn't like for his scars to be seen. He's almost as protective over them as he is over his anime and manga.

It should be noted that he has a major problem with slitting his wrists and thighs. Though he can keep it under control in public, when he's alone in comfortable surroundings, odds are he'll take out just an inch of built up anguish and loathing onto his flesh. If someone were to intrude upon him as he does this, odds are he would run out of the room with out saying a word and have trouble approaching the said person for quite some time.

Special Powers/Weapons

Aura

Yuki has an exceptional degree of control over his aura. He can suppress it, hiding his presence from most "6th senses" as well as focus it into what he needs doing such as added force behind a punch or to shield him from a more powerful attack. He's also more aware in sensing other people's aura, so he's harder to sneak up.

Yuki's aura is of a azure midnight blue color and exists in a flame-like pattern around the sillhouete of his body. Also, there is a small spot on the center of his forehead where it is also visable, called the sharigan, or third eye. This is nothing more than the focal point for the chi/ki energy that the aura is made up of. Currently the aura's color has grown darker with streaks of greys and blacks in it from the nano-technology feeding off of it.

Cybernetics

Part of his race, I guess; as mentioned later in his history, he had some modifications made against his will during the period he was kid-napped when he was eight years old. The full extent of this is a replacing of muscle tissue and bones with more durable things, as well as some improvements made on his right eye. Most of his key bones were replaced with a titanium alloy stronger than bone, but due to the weight of this, it was made in a grid like structure of hexagons. The hexagons were then filled with bone marrow so that blood could still be produced. The muscles around these bones were then condensed, making them rather small, but quite powerful for their size. But his eye is the greatest of the improvements. It's well sighted into his brain and can zoom in and out at will like a scope. Its improved vision also allows him to use see through the thick bangs covering it. However, the sight on this often throws off his depth perception when relying on his other eye.

Nano-Machines

Over the past near-decade since the technology to modify Yuki was purely theoretical and untested, several advancements have been made to robotics, thus cybernetics. Conventional means to make cyborgs have grown nearly obsolete. The invention of Nano-Machines is probably the most revolutionary advancement in either field since self-learning AI.

In essence, a nano-machine is as it's name implies, a machine measured in nano-meters. Basically, they are microscopic and work within a body on a cellular level. They can preform any kind of operation they are programmed and equipped for. Combined with various technologies like alter-dimensional storage and Kirlian Amplification, these models developed for Yuki are made to evolve. Though, they are not equipped with self-learning AI due to the uncontrollability of such machines and the danger they could present, they can be modified physically through new programing alone. All that would be required would for the programmer to upload the required materials to storage. The same can be said about a person's body and what they could do it it. They work with both organic and inorganic materials as well as having a rather plentiful energy source, the reason Yuki is so valuable: his aura. They have a very replenishable energy source to at their disposal and are designed to recreate and speed up Nature, from natural bodily functions to evolution.

In the context of Yuki, these little bastards don't really give him any really power in themselves. Rather, they are a means for other abilities to be upgraded into him as they get more programing. As this can be done at any time through their control center in the machine that attaches his mechanical eye to his brain, a simple laser feed into his eye could give him new programs as they're developed once the machines are in his system. Thus, frequent lab visits aren't required, just an uploading of matirials to the storage space and the data to the control center.

Note: things like speeding up bodily functions ((aka healing)) and things like that are not yet granted by this power. Only what is listed below. Maybe something like that will come in the future, maybe not. Lots more will come of this, but in the future as each one will take a psychological toll on Yuki.

N-Cannon

This is an abomination of a device to rival anything unnatural already done to Yuki. It is a cannon, as the name states, summoned rapidly around his arm and linked to his bodily systems by the nano-machines. Aesthetics first, it starts an inch and a half down form his elbow and extends nineteen inches out from their. It's black, crystalline appearance is jagged like the freezing structure of a water droplet. It comes together and breaks at jagged points with out a single curve until the barrel that extends beyond where Yuki's hand would be. The only part of the previous structure that extends that far begins just over an inch before the end of the cannon. They are four pyramid like bayonets that just out with slight cutting edges a good four inches past the end of the barrel, making up the last little bit of it's over all length. It's shiny, opaque blackness being grants a very foreboding look and feel, which has quite the ill effect on it's wielder.

Now for function. It's a cannon that fires of Yuki's aura, in the same manner he'd expel it for a punch or kick, but rather it's now used as a projectile. Over all power, it has a few amplifiers on it to compensate for the fact that not all the energy behind a physical strike is wasted, so Yuki gets about the same power for energy fired as he would for energy wasted in putting his aura behind a strike. So, if he were to up everything he had into a beam from this cannon, he could very easily be unconscious and hooked up to life support for a week or two. But he could do considerable damage with that. With that power, it could easily put a hole through a normal human as big around as soccer ball. But, that's like having a car that can do 300mph and not living by an autobahn. It's nice to know that it can do that, but there'll scarcely be a chance to it and the repercussions would be quite life-threatening.

It comes standard with two fire modes. Though they do more or less equal the same output for input within the same time frame. One is for powerful beams taking a longer time between shots, as a bit of all or nothing. While the other is like an automatic. It shoots smaller base-ball sized blasts with a bit of a tear-drop style of a tail to them at a much more rapid rate. Somewhere around 50 rounds per a minute. Faster methods and more powerful ones as well will come to Yuki with time as he learns to use it. It's designed to fit his right hand, but can be loosely modified for his left in a dire situation. Though, it's sync ratio will be significantly less, thus reducing its firing speed, power, and accuracy by a small percentage. It should be noted that though this his aura being fired, it's tainted by the amplifiers and has flickers of black, purple and red in it's azure blasts. This also is visible in the part of Yuki's aura surrounding the gun and his Jangen, or the part of the Aura residing as a spirit eye on the forehead.

It'd be about as strong as Yuki's normal punch/kick, so it'll steadily get stronger. Right now/durring the SL though, it'll only be about as what the more powerfull humans could pull of giving it their all. Take like Gov Arny when he was Mr. Universe or something. It'd be damaging, but not thing compared to what other students can do. That's for the fast shot.

The slower would be like an old-fashioned cannon, 22lb ammo. Seeing them in movies, you'd think they could take someone's head off, but in reality, there was a guy on Rippley's that took one to the nuts from a few yards and lived. Painfully, but lived. So it's a crushing blow to a normal human, but easy to swat away by the average to more powerful meta's around campus.

Relationships

Angel Liciatra; Oath-Sister

Angel and Yuki swore an oath of sibling-hood on the rooftops when they were freshmen. She is the one he confides in the most at AHS, and one of two he finds himself sworn to protect.

(eventual link goes here)

Melody; Crush

Having met Yuki in the Gardens mere days after he came to AHS, Melody quickly caught his eye. They're polar opposites really, her being the up-beat optimist and an amaing cook, while Yuki's the perpetual downer and one who lives off of Ramen. He finally confessed his feelings to her on the same walkway they met on in the Gardens. The feelings proved mutual and the date has yet to take place.

(eventual link goes here)

Chrono; Sensei

What had started off as a simple trip to test out the Gravity Chambers became the first real fight of Yuki's life when he met Chrono. This powerful student since became Yuki's sensei and is the chief person that he looks up to.

History Before AHS/ASA

Born to a normal family in Lansing, Michigan, he was normal himself until after a few weeks after being brought home from the hospital. It was then that his family noticed how unnaturally light his hair was. His Mother, being overly religious thought it was some form of bad omen, but was talked out of it by the father. He learned quickly, both walking and talking at an early age up until he started elementary school. He was a little quiet there, as even the kindergartners teased him for his "grandpa" hair. He grew up shy and as time went on, he started to loathe the other children as much as a small child could. By second grade, he never spoke unless first spoken too. His Mother was also growing increasingly suspicious. And after his father walked out when he was seven, the gap between the mother and son grew.

It was half way through the third grade when he disappeared when he was vacationing with his father in California. He was taken to a lab in the city of San Jose, where he was used in experimental cybernetics. He showed up in a train station in New York 5 weeks and 4 days after he disappeared, all of his non self-inflicted scars freshly made. He lay there on the bench, unable to do anything but breath. It was not until someone was searching him for a wallet the next day that his right eye forcibly opened, still in agony from the procedure. His bangs not yet long enough to cover the fresh technology, it's five swirls stared at the mugger and with new found strength, he beat him away in reaction to being touched. He sat there, balled up in the corner of that station for several hours before he heard someone sitting down beside him. This man, Mitske Kowasaki sat there for a while, not saying a word until eventually Yuki grew used to his presence. It was then that he spoke. He was the owner of a small Japanese restaurant on the edge of town. He invited the small boy to stay there until his parents were found. Since Kowasaki never new his name, it has he first called the cyborg Yuki for his skin and hair. Yuki picked up his love for Japanese cooking and culture in general from this family and was quite happy, all things considered, during his short time staying there. After a two week period passed, his Father finally located him and flew out to bring him home.

With his eye as messed up as it was and the scars all over him, his mother had trouble stomaching his semi-demonic appearance and his father took him in. For a time, at least his home life was stable for a time, as he was made fun of for his appearance more and more at school. His father eventually purchased him a contact to color his eye the same as his real one. Not long after he started the 5th grade, a year behind schedule do to the incident in California, his father was driving home from the bar and passed out at the wheel. He died peacefully from alcohol poisoning, unlike his step mum in the passenger seat who died kicking and screaming. Crushed, Yuki had to return to his mother's home. She reluctantly took him in.

His mother was appalled by the new tattoos on his upper arm and back, as well as his new religion. After all those years of being thought of as a demon child, he started practicing those so-called "demon arts" and began practicing basic witchcraft. He noticed how abnormaly sensitive he was to auras and how much control he had compared to the book he was reading said he was suposed too. Shortly after the completion of 7th grade, his mother told him about the inheritance his father left him. Close to 300 grand, Yuki was overjoyed. He could use it to send himself to boarding school and escape his mother. After another year of school, he left some money for his mother, pitying her for having to put up with him and left with his manga and anime collection for a boarding school for humans with powers in Japan. The soonest flight was a week and a half away and in Detroit. He got there and decided to pass the time getting a tattoo at the local parlor. He had the delicate, yet expensive, procedure done on his midriff over the course of 3 days before taking off for Japan and a high school where he would fit in.

History After Arriving At AHS/ASA

So far, Yuki's had rather uneventful life at AHS... or at least he has in contrast to any other student living here. He's only been injured severely once in his year of attending. And nothing else paranormal has happened. Seriously. Sure, he met a psycho here and there, but that happens at a school like this. A lot actually.

The only things note worthy are as follows:

It was his first day on campus and Yuki was wandering through the gardens, pricking his finger on rose's thorn. That day, he met two people that played a large role in shaping him: Ronin and Melody.

Not long after, he met a man named Chrono in the gravity chambers. Though they clashed frequently, Yuki looks up to the bulky figure as a sensei and teacher. He's grown many times strong from their continued contact.

After having been at AHS for a few months, Yuki met the last of the three most important people to him. A girl, who from appearance could easily be mistaken for his sister, named Angel. The two bonded quickly and swore an oath of brotherhood, or rather the equivalent of it when two siblings are of opposing genders.

As time wore on, Yuki's bond with all three of them deepened, up until his departure from Japan to begin tracking down the people who made him. This lead the cyborg to the state of New York where he spent almost five months tracking them down. To make a long story short, this was to no avail. He saw things there that changed him though, a catalyst to the impact that everyone at AHS had left on him. He swore away his habit of cutting as well as making himself the silent promise to never hold himself back.

With his return, Yuki found the dorms in ruins. He had an emotional fit, brought out of it by another new face, Brian Ronin. Yuki's memories of what happened that day on the operating table were awakened in Brian's release of power. He was in a worrying fit over whether or not his friends were alive.

The first one he met up with was his sister, the night after returning. After she forced him to the bathes for smelling like soot, their reunion was a pleasant, albeit ticklish, one. Next, Yuki was off enjoying a storm by the lake, a certain sensei waiting to ambush him. Yes, it seemed that Chrono was a live as well.

After meeting up with Melody again, Yuki finally got his feelings for her across, asking her out on a date. Their reminiscent trip through the gardens was a cute site to behold.

Shortly there after, before their date could even take place, Yuki was injured whilst training on Dragoon Mountain, beginning the series of events that would lead him back to the States one more time, this adventure really leading him to the organization's doorstep...
