Basic Description
Special Abilites
Elvish Blood gives some imunities, some include:
- Weak Poison
- Some Major Poison
- All Minor Illness
- Some Major Illness
- Sleep Aids(including spells)
Elves also age at a slower rate than humans, nearly a 1:6 ratio. They cannot die by old age, many living well into their thousands. This does not begin until the Elf hits puberty. Around the age of 16 for most Elves.
Elves can see much better in low light conditions then a normal human. The average Elf can see with nothing more then a few stars shining as if it were dusk. There are no documented cases of an Elf seeing in complete darkness. In normal light conditions an Elf will be able to spot things that an average human.
Hearing is also increased with the larger, pointed ears.
Having more then 20% Elvish blood in one's system would allow the person the ability to understand spoken Elvish, even if they are unable to speak it themselves.
Race Mis-matching
Elves are rarely known to mix with other races. Only a few cases have ever been seen. All of which were half human(Meta included), half elf. The only known example of this at this time is Ashlyn Astald, born to Elf, Linis Astald, and human, Aaiiry Astald(In the future).

The histoy of the elves is a long and expansive one. The history here only covers a small part of this great race's colorful past.
Long ago, around the time of the midevil age of men, Elves thrived in there surroundings, hidden from veiw from the humans of the world. The only times that Elves were seen by humans were those times that turned to legend and myth. Man did not truly believe there were such things. The Elves were technologicly advanced much past the humans. The ability to travel to space and other planets using both the magics of the land, and their technological breakthroughs made them more advanced then we are now. Even with the ability, they never used it, not until war broke out. The war between the Elves and the Drow. Many years and lives were put into this war that the world didnt even know existed. During the war the Elvish elders decided that they needed a way to keep the Drow from killing out the Elves entirly, and the legendary weapons were made. Or at least that is how the legend goes. Three swords, Three bows, and three spears. These weapons helped keep the Drow back for a time, but still they pushed the Elves further and further back until the Elves had no choice but to leave.

How to Gain Permission to Make an Elf
The first step to getting permission is making sure that this is your second or higher character, you have over 500 posts, and have been on the board for three months. If you meet those requirements you may contact Linis Astald about you interest in an Elf. He will give you an answer on if you may attempt at creating an Elf.
When creating a character that is an Elf, be prepared to have a very detailed profile, along with having it properly spellchecked and grammar checked. Due to the fact of the inheriant abilities of Elves, you will only be allowed to start with one power.
