Appearance/Clothing
Jacob is fairly tall for his age and stands at a mildly impressive 6'2. Over the years his outward appearance has slowly been changed and sculpted by the power of his unnatural affliction. His body appears to be a perfect compromise between speed and strength, his frame well muscled and strong, but not overly so. In some twisted way it's as if someone has taken the time to perfectly sculpt his body to remain between the extremes of speed and strength, sadly this is not all that far from the truth.
Jacob was originally born with red hair the color of freshly spilt blood. While he hated it as a young child, he didn't have to endure it for long. Once Jacob began to regularly feed himself on the energy and souls of others, and absorbed more and more shards of the parasite into his body, his hair changed to midnight black coloration. Jacob's hair is now extremely long, and reaches to the base of his back. He has attempted to cut it from time to time, only to find that it grows back to the same exact length within a matter of days. Given the inconvenience he would have to endure to keep his hair shorter, Jacob has readily embraced it in its long state.
His eyes are also a very unique amethyst color. While there are several other students in the school that share the same eye color as himself, his are strangely complex in their patterns. If one were to look closely enough, it would be very easy to see the finely crafted detail held within each eye, almost to the point that they seem completely unreal. They also seem to hold a very hard sense to them, as if they actually are crafted from true amethysts, and he always appears to be detached or cold even when he is in fact paying very careful attention to a certain situation.
Jacob enjoys wearing all sorts of clothing. He owns everything from some very fine suits to some incredibly worn-out and old jeans that he has had for ages. Normally he will simply wear casual clothing, comfortable and easy to move in, but still nice enough to take notice of. He also holds very closely to the rule of wearing uniforms at school, but often loosens the mandatory tie from around his neck until it practically hangs limp around his neck. If somebody were to ask him why he has such a habit of doing this, he might make a cryptic response about having been hanged from the gallows in a past life.
Every now and then a white streak will appear in the front of Jacob's hair, a very visible sign that he has not fed from anyone in quite some time. If he ignores this sign and continues to resist the urge to drain others of their energy, the parasite begins to feed on Jacob himself. This can lead to very visible outward signs. In short, Jacob will gradually appear to become increasingly ill, and to be in a general state of bad health. If he feeds, this can change almost instantly and he will quickly regain his former outward appearance.
Personality
Jacob often prefers to keep to himself most of the time, as he is keenly aware that most of his fellow students don’t think in the same way that he does, and that even fewer of them appear to be interested in the same things that happen to motivate him. It is very rare for Jacob to make a friend or acquaintance by accident, as he always measures how much every relationship may or may not be valuable to him. He is very practical and calculating most of the time, but Jacob can also be frustratingly impulsive when the right set of circumstances arises.
Most of the time, Jacob will appear to be very civil and polite to most people, if not a bit short or sarcastic in his remarks. He often comes off as dangerous despite his best efforts, and has been confronted about his motivations on several occasions. In truth Jacob normally prefers to play his cards close, and to not reveal anything about himself too quickly in one way or another. It gives him far more control of the process if nobody has any idea of what to make of him. He can also be very quick to rise to physical confrontation if forced to do so, or if the parasite compels him to take violent action in a moment of weakness.
He has fed from a number of AHS students in the past, but now does his best to hunt outside of the student population, if only to stay out of trouble. Still, he has terrorized some of his classmates, and shows very little, if any, guilt over the incidents. He does what he has to do to survive, and rather than shun the burden of his powers, he embraces the inherent darkness he has found within them and himself. His morals are often flexible and open to change, saving people one moment and killing those he views as monsters, and then viciously feeding and causing harm the next. While he may appear to be very unstable to some, he maintains as much control over himself and his urges as can be expected. He can be a very valuable friend in many ways, or a horrendous enemy if it suits him.
