Only the third ever hispanic president in the history of the United States, President Ibanez de la Cruz grew up in the 51st State of the Union, Mexico. The second daughter of a wealthy business dynasty, she was educated at Yale before studying at the prestigious University of Bogota for her PhD in Geo-Spatial Political Models. Elected in the 2362 Presidential elections.

Despite being a hard line Republican and pro-extra solar expansion, she is cautious of engaging the powerful Soviets directly or of settling on planets already with an international presence.
