[Toy Story]x[Kingdom Hearts]x[Star Wars]x[Persona 4]
Toys in the Hood (Chapter 8)

Daisy woozily opened her eyes to find herself on the inside of a Jet Liner, She then looked to the window to the sight of the ocean floor closing in on a collection of islands just over the horizon. "Whu-huh?"

"Isn't this exciting?" Jennifer's voice got her attention onto the adult as she cradled her sleeping toddler. "We get to explore a part of the world we rarely get to see and I'm sure the children will learn something about different cultures."

Daisy was dumbfounded in her drowsy stupor. "I was babysitting Molly and then this knight in armor turned up and cast some kinda spell."

"I found you sleeping on the job and was more than happy to take you and Molly along with us to Japan." 'Ty' glared to the sitter from behind the women. "I hope this doesn't do too much damage to your college education."

"If it's only for the week, I guess it won't." Daisy absent-mindedly assured to her senior.

On 'Tyler's side of the seating, Bonnie and Andy were sitting impatiently at the thought of going to Japan.

"Worry not." Yoda clarified from within Aqua's purse. "Only an indulgence on Aqua's part, this brief detour is."

"But what about my mommy?!" questioned Bonnie. "She's gonna be worried sick about me!"

"Calm down, Bon." Aqua hushed. "I called her up on the way up and she wants you back by Labor Day. If we end up sticking around any longer, we can dial her up and pull a mind trick on her."

"Oh, good." huffed Andy. "More mind control."

"You don't have to like it." Aqua facepalmed. "It's only to get around their worrying hearts and calm themselves back to normal."

"Yeah, Yeah, Yeah..." Andy slumped back into his seat. "Just tell me when we land, okay?"

Aqua glared back to the boy with relief.

-ILP-

Deep within Aqua's subspace pocket, Woody tapped his boots to the luggage case he laid upon, irritated that Aqua and Terra resorted to pocketing him and the rest of Andy's toys just so they could follow Andy and crew to Japan. Regardless, he still stood to pick up the microphone and make his speech.

"I am so sorry that you all had to be dragged into this mess." Woody spoke towards his colleagues, "But those who are aware of just how broken this tree of ours know that variants can and will happen, this is just one of those minor shake-ups."

"Minor shake-up?!" Mister Potato Head spat against the sheriff. "One year into the Loop and already we're being thrown off course by your kind going to cowboy camp with little miss 'My presence is impossible at this point in the Baseline'!"

"Calm down, alright." Woody hushed the spud. "At least there are elder Loopers on Andy's end to ease him in."

"Yeah, with overblown door-keys." Potato-Head Huffed.

"And Jedi mind tricks to get around the troubles he might end up facing." clarified Woody. "Come on, what's the modus opperandi around these parts."

"To be there for Andy when he needs us." The other toys sighed.

"Exactly!" Woody bounced to lower ground with a smile. "Just roll with the punches and we can figure out the Loop and what it's meant for."

-ILP-

The plane soon landed after a beautiful birds-eye view of the Japanese skyline and the group of foreigners arrived at the airport where they were met with a humble vallet willing to drive the group through Japan to seek out a proper place for the seven Americans.

"We are honored to have international guests such as yourselves here in the Inaba prefecture." Their escort smiled from the driver's seat. "While we were unable to secure the intended cargo of Woody's Roundup merchandise for the 50s Wing, our CEO showed interest in what he got in its stead so by all means, do pick out a place to stay for the duration of your visit to the country."

Jennifer glanced through the windows to see the houses that were available. "Do you think we can fit within a particular price range?"

'Ty' was also interested in house hunting though his method was different, sending pings to any Loopers that might have been fused in along with them. And sure enough, he got a ping back and promptly pointed the group in its direction. "Do you think we can room in an already preoccupied residence?"

"A resourceful idea, Tyler-san." the vallet complimented the man. "-- I cannot wait until the tour tommorrow."

"Same here." smiled 'Amy' as she recieved a ringing sound coming from a nearby home. "Because I think we've just found our new home."

-ILP-

Ryotaro was loving this Loop for the reason you'd expect him to, he woke up before the death of his wife, Yu and Yosuke look adorable as children and Izanami was far from active for the time being. Nothing could get in the way at this point in their lives... despite a recently Awakened Chie's best efforts to the contrary.

"Come on, Chie, I just wanted to gush about how hecking cute you are as a little girl..." squawked Yosuke.

"Oh, sure. Go ahead and coo at me, why doncha?" glared Chie with a raging fury of your typical Tsundere. "And while you're at it, why not compliment the dress my parents forced onto me for going here!?"

"Well, the pink's not beary complimentary to your attitude." the fun-sized Teddie pointed out in a matter-of-fact sort of speaking. "Maybe a warmer color could be best."

"Did I ask you for fashion advice!" Chie barked with rage before halting at the familiar sound of the ping. "Loopers? Here?"

"Would appear so..." sighed Yu as he stood up and sent a ping back before glancing to his caretaker for the timebeing: "Dojima-san."

"I heard." peeped Ryotaro from behind a creeked open door. "I'll go greet the newcomers." He then waltzed his way to the front door with a kiss for Chisato lying in wait only to find her opening the door for the guests.

"Hi, I heard there were like-minded people here." the American-looking figure smiled to her patron. "Do you have a place for us to stay for the foreseeable future?"

"We have a spare room for you." smiled Chisato. "The kids could room with Yu and Nanako if they like."

"We'd be honored, milady!" Bonnie smiled back as she marched to the japanese children. "I take it you are wide Awake, good sir."

Ping.

"I've been thrown for a Loop myself."

Ping.

"So if you're eager to go Loop-dee-Loop for the Loop in question,"

Ping. Ping. Ping.

"Alright, I'll let you into my room!" complained Yu as he opened the door.

"YAY!" Bonnie cheered as she dashed inside to Yu's reluctance.

-ILP-

The Inaba youngsters faced the little Americans with intrigue, and yet still discomfort. "I hear you're training in the Keyblade's power?"

"Not yet." Blushed Bonnie with a smile. "But so long as I practice my force power, I can have a chance at being a keyslinging kid alongside Terra and Aqua!"

"The Force?" Yu glared back. "As in a certain Galaxy Far, Far Away?"

"A loyal fan, are you? Hmm..." Yoda glanced to the white-haired boy, surprising him to no end. "Yes, the rumors are true. The Toy Story Loops, you and your Ilk now find yourselves in."

"I can see that, ya plush puppet!" glanced Yosuke.

"How are you even using the Force?" pondered Chie. "You'd have to be in Yoda's home branch to end up just as force-sensitive as you, Yoda."

"That's right..." added Yu. "...and as far as I can tell, that isn't the case this Loop."

"In a cloudy pattern, this Loop is." Yoda sighed as he walked with cane in hand. "The only Branches fused for the Loop, the ones we know might not be."

"So it's gonna be a Cluster Loop." sighed Yosuke. "Makes sense with the rumors brewing in the community recently."

"The one with the olympic championship?" Teddie added "Let's hope things don't get too big for us to bear down here."

"Let's hope so..." Yu leaned back with a finger to his chin before adding: "So how long have you been Loopin'..."

"I just started last year!" peeped Bonnie. "And Andy's not even Looping yet."

"Really?" Yosuke eyed to the child. "I guess that makes you Yggdrasil's new fuckboy."

"Watch your language, young man!" Jen butted in with a spark in her eyes.

"Okay, Okay, I'll keep my peeper shut..." mumbled Yosuke to Jennifer's ire, watching the boy interacting with her boy as she closed the door. "Yeesh, is she one of those single parents."

"...yeah." Andy sighed. "We don't talk much about him."

Yu just looks to his non-looping friend and sighed: "You're lucky."

Chapter 9

[Toy Story]x[Kingdom Hearts]x[Star Wars]x[Persona 4]
Toys in the Hood (Chapter 8)

That night, the children had tucked themselves in for tomorrow's tour.

"Yu, are you awake?" Andy said, restless from a burning question on his mind.

"And feeling Loopy." Yu answered. "You've got something to get off your chest?"

"What did you mean by me being lucky?" Andy glanced to the boy. "What's with your mom and dad?"

"Katchum Glitch." Yu leaned back up before looking to the boy with an LED lamp aimed at a book. "This is a comprehensive list of every branch that has activated in order."

"Number One, Ranma 1/2. Number Two, Harry Potter. Number Three, Naruto?" Andy raised an eye at this list, "These are anime..."

"Yeah... most of the original seven turned up as Anime." Yu replied to the boy, "Marvel and DC follow suit."

"Ten, Thomas the Tank Engine. Eleven, Mass Effect. Twelve, Mario. Fourteen, Star Wa-." Andy halted in his words and looked to Yu and asked. "Where's Thirteen? What happened?"

"Mega Man's Baseline-to-Variant ratio happened." Yu deadpanned before glancing to a Famicom cartridge. "Videogame Franchise, Branch 108 after a long wait and a tedious process of troubleshooting. One of the final desperate measures included Branch Thirteen, it did not end well."

"It got destroyed?" Andy's eyes widened. "Can that happen to any other-."

"Nah. Not in the way that branch fell..." Yu halted. "It was negated on a conceptual level, and the damage echoed through Yggdrasil. The Kachum Glitch being a major blow, distinctive features of any particular familial unit? Wiped out, Just ask Ash Kachum."

"The Pokemon Trainer?" Andy peeped.

Yu nodded back. "His mother couldn't recall the face and voice of her husband, that was the first reported instance of that glitch, hence the term 'Kachum Glitch' in the Looping Lexicon."

Andy winced, slumping back into his bed. "Did that happen to your parents?"

"Yep." Yu mumbled back. "Do you even remember yours?"

"Mom's still around." Andy smiled, "Dad left us a long while back."

"But can you remember any feature of him?" Yu asked, looking as Andy thought to himself and his face began to be wreathed in woe.

That was the day Andy realized the horror of the Kachum Glitch.

-ILP-

Everyone got up bright and early the subsequent morning for the tour through the Konishi Toy Museum to oggle away at the Toys they can never touch. From Barbie Dolls to GI Joes, Toa to Transformers, complete sets of Toy lines old and new adorned its thirteen floors.

"Wow!" Andy looked in awe at the display for a video game franchise's merch. "They have keyblades like you!"

Terra and Aqua glanced to the display to find a few familiar faces. "Well, I'll be fragged." Exclaimed Terra. "He did made it through after all!"

There was Sora with Riku, Kairi, Namine, Lea, Roxas and Xion as a Sentai-like line of action figures. Bonnie looked in awe, having heard stories of their adventures from Aqua during the airplane ride. "Think we should go and ping them?"

"I'm not sure..." eyed Aqua. "Depends on whether they're Awake or not."

"Isn't it kinda the point?" probed Bonnie.

"Well, knowing Sora, he'd likely ping first." Aqua pointed out to the children.

Ping.

"Case and Point."

Moving on from the toy Anchor from another world as it was much too crowded for him to directly communicate with them, the children walked towards their familiar-looking guide. "Good Morning, Younglings."

"Hey! I remember you!" Exclaimed Bonnie. "You're the guy that drove us around Inaba for house hunting!"

"You have a good eye." mentioned the fella in a tux. "My name is Yuteru Shigata, VP of International Relations. My job is to ensure that our reputation overseas are as ship-shape as it is back home, making it all the easier to reach out to all the Mattels and Hasbros of the world."

"So you're gonna be our guide for the whole day?" Andy tilted his head slightly by. "Well, it's nice t'meet ya, sheriff!"

"When do we meet the president, Shigata-Sama?" Bonnie eagerly asked, Shigata blushing at the term 'Shigata-sama'

"Erm, let's just focus on keeping this crowd of kids moving, okay?" Iwata dodged, pointing to the emotionless children among them.

"I don't think they even feel like movin'..." Bonnie glanced with concern.

"Come now, they all want the special surprise gift that the tour offers, don't they?" Shigata smiled as he hurried them to the next stop of the tour, Terra and Aqua staying up in the Lobby as Shigata glared with a wistful worry in his eyes. "Do stay safe."

-ILP-

Bonnie and Andy were relatively creeped out by the dark room they walked through and the creepy violin music conveying the ever-so bleak atmosphere of the real world at large.

"Easy." Bonnie's gaze focused onto Andy, leaning onto him with a smile. "I'll protect ya. I am, after all, a full Looper."

Andy smiled back as a sort of mist gassed up the room. A giant holographic projection of another suit-wearing gentleman smiling back at the children. "Konichiwa, Hola, Ni-hao and Hello, good little boys and girls. Welcome, one and all, to my museum of joy and imagination for all ages involved." Bonnie sensed something screwy in the air, broken dreams and negative thoughts condensing into a singular mass for each child that wasn't herself and Andy. "I do hope your stay within these halls are as inviting as they are inspiring. It is our mission to recapture the mystic power of the human spirit, one that surrounds and penitrates the young and young at heart. That is what we here at Konishi aim to restore this magic to the rest of the universe... no matter the cost."

Bonnie winced in shock of what she saw behind her, a black egg floated above every child with a white X in front of it, their flesh slowly turned into this inky tar-like sludge as their clothes re-arranged into a sort-of costume with the only unifying mark being a red outline of a heart with an X in front of it. Andy was next to turn around and could only watch as the eggs above the zombified children's heads exploded into that same ebony sludge before reshaping itself into a humanoid form familiar to those who fought this type of creature.

"Heartless, Here!?" Yoda's eyes widened with shock before refocusing on the children that remained human, leaping out with lightsaber in hand. "Go to Terra and Aqua! Hold off the dark creatures, I shall."

Bonnie nodded, then took Andy's hand as the two children ran off to get their Looping elders.

-ILP-

Terra and Aqua patiently sat by the balcony, waiting for the children to return when all of a sudden, the man spotted one of them zooming by towards a nearby car. "Heartless!"

"And they're causing chaos on the road!" Aqua added. "We need to help them!"

"Aqua, stop!" Terra halted before pointing to the car. "Jen and the Dojimas are in there!"

"Guess we need that armor a lot more than we thought." Aqua lamented as she pulled her elbowpads from her pocket and angled to activate the rest of the suit before-

"Holy Crown!" A golden cushion manifested to cushion the car as weightlessly as possible, Chisato pushing the brakes as hard as she could before impact with the warm, honey-like mass.

"What the-?" Jennifer looked to the substance that enveloped the car, touching it to realize that it felt lighter than the wind. "What even is this stuff, Some Japanese Jell-O?"

Twas there that a pink-haired girl of around Andy's age zoomed by on what appeared to be winged rollerskates to face off against the Heartless as it drove away from the group. "So it's a fused Loop, huh? That explains the early awakening."

'Amu-chan! It's gaining on us!' yelped the voice that rung in her head.

"Already on it, Ran." Amu shifted her wardrobe from a pink midriff to a green maid outfit, "Charanari: Amulet Clover!"

She slowed to a sprint before pulling out a whisk to lather the road with a sticky syrupy substance. "Remake Honey!"

The dark creature felt its wheels get coated with this magical maple pulp and slowed to a crawl as its sticky situation worsened ever-so bluntly.

"Now, let's wrap this up!" Amu turned to face the creature. "Negative Heart, Lock-On!"

Terra and Aqua looked onward with appreciation and gratitude before looking to each other with facination. "Let's get to the kids, She's got us covered for now."

"Right." Terra nodded as he made his way to the kids and their Jedi Teacher.

-ILP-

No matter how swift Yoda could cut down the Heartless hordes, they could always respawn somewhere else in the room and the children would have to hide away as swiftly as they could. "It's no use!" Cried Andy "You need a Keyblade!"

"Mind not my equipment." reassured Yoda. "Escape while it is still possible, you must!"

Bonnie slipped back with worry. "Please don't break, master."

Yoda narrowed his sight to the children with a slight smirk before turning to face the hordes of dark creatures head on when, out of the blue:

"Masterpiece Impact!" A forward thrust peirced the Air Soldier right through the breast before it twisted with a radiant glow with the words "OPEN HEART!" The Heartless glowed a shimmering golden shine before bursting into stardust, releasing the lost heart into the aether. Amu stepped towards the two children with her brown boots and blue striped stockings and glanced to Bonnie and Andy with a smile. "What's a couple Gaijin doing out here?"

"Hiding!" Andy rushed out the door to completely pass by Terra and Aqua who were rushing in with Keyblades in hand. "Bonnie, follow me!"

"Andy, don't ya wanna see if they can beat down the monsters together?!" Bonnie pleaded from behind the desk.

Terra glanced to Andy as he clung to the rails of the hallway. "Well?"

"I'll be fine watching from here if that's what you want..." Andy yelped from the echoing hallways. "If anything, I'd be concerned about the mist that's pouring in."

Amu looked down to find that the fog machines, sensing a strange aura from the mist before shifting into her last resort: "Character Transformation: Amulet Diamond!" Her intelligent Device was traded out from a blue shaft to a golden glave that transformed into a boomerang before Amu swung it about with a yell of: "Boomerang Sweep" Heartless were cut to ribbons and hearts were released as Terra and Aqua swooped in with their respective command styles!

"Say Goodbye!" Terra drew stone boulders from nothing to smash in Heartless Skulls and crush the dark ones flat into oblivion. "I think that's the last of them!"

"Really?" Panted Amu. "That's a... relief..." slowly she drifted into a sort of slumber, demorphing from her enhanced state in the process before falling from the sky.

"I've got ya!" Teddie rushes over to clutch onto the pinkette as she descends. "We hafta get outta here!"

The children scrambled in a rush to get out while the masters came following after, eager to escape the Museum and the mist as soon as they could.

Chapter 10

[Toy Story]x[Kingdom Hearts]x[Star Wars]x[Persona 4]x[Shugo Chara]
Toys in the Hood (Chapter 10)

"Hey. Can you hear me?"

Amu struggled to open her eyes as she focused onto the face that was looking upon her as he comforted her back into health. "ugh... wh-wha..."

"Don't try to move." Yu kneeled to calm down the Anchor of the Guardian Character Loops. "You took a spill after saving my aunt Chisato, sweeping out the Heartless in the Museum. After that, my friend Teddie came over to carry you into the car and... well, here we are."

Amu glanced to the fellow in the bear suit as he scratched the back of his head with a smile. "Glad I could help!"

"And my Charas?" Amu asked.

"There're right inside my pouch!" confirmed Teddie. "I'll admit, they're making me a bit sweaty or maybe it's just my human body kicking in for the Loop."

Amu could only cringe at the thought, having witnessed such a proverbial 'birth' once or twice in the Loops that she shared with Yu and his crew. Chie leaned to the pink-haired Joker that Anchored a Branch of Would-Be Selves and said: "So, you heard of a Cluster Loop?"

"A mass fused Loop?" Amu guessed "Like with Smash?"

"Yeah! We've just lived through a Loop like that." Chie recalled. "We crossed through not just Remnant, but the Hollow Night and Librarium Loops as well."

"The Loop crashed when we found the likes of Ragna and Ruby turning up in our freaking class." Yosuke complained. "I still can't get over how freaky it was that this was where I begged for Eiken! At least that branch was relatively slow compared to our branch."

"I'll admit, this variant does beat the pants off the Dancing Expansion." Yu remarked to his pack.

"Ugh... It's so hooooot. I gotta use the bathroom to change out of the suit!" yelped Teddie before he emitted the sound of four eight-year-old girls screaming in unison, prompting the Bear-Suited mascot to cover his mouth as he scrambled out of the room. "Excuse me!"

Watching as Teddie opened and slammed the living room door, Amu slowly considered what was going on within the Inaba Native's costume and realized a horrifyingly disgusting thing that was occurring inside: "No way!"

-ILP-

"WHAT! THE BARK! IS GOING ON HERE!" Jennifer confronted the two with blatantly justified rage. "I find myself cushioned by light, then I have to help Chisato pick up a pink-haired stranger, and now I hear all this talk about a computer-tree being broken?"

"Well, considering all the inexplicable things that are going on around here, you couldn't exactly chalk it up to Japan's cultural differences now, could you?" 'Amy' rightfully explained to the mother of two children. "There's a specific quirk in this particular Branch that's resulted in your branch being a bit more accessable to the Admins-"

"I don't care about quirks or keyboards." huffed Jennifer to the two masters. "All I want is for my children to come out of this disaster trip okay!"

"Erm... Excuse me?" peeped Teddie from just by the conversation. "I kinda need to change out of this stuffy old suit of mine." a different voice escaped Teddie's breath. "Speak for yourself, I'm sweating up a storm in here!" another voice soon followed. "Not to mention how cramped this shell's getting!" Teddie's fists curled up and pressed against his eyes as the next alternative voice cried: "WE CAN'T FLY~DESU!!"

"Calm down, I can help you out of this getup no problems attached." smiled Jennifer as she walked to Teddie's Zipper and began to tug.

Teddie showed concern as Jennifer unzipped the costume. "Uh, I don't think it's Bear-y wise since the lot of us are kinda like newborns at the moment."

"Oh, come on, now... there's nothing to feAAAAGHGHHHH!!!" Jennifer screeched at the naked eight-year-old girls that 'accompanied' Teddie. "You know what, just change into some actual clothes and maybe I can forget this mess ever happened, just don't ever let me see you pulling this stunt again!"

"Scout's honor!" chimed Teddie as he marched into the bathroom with the girls in tow. Jennifer could do little more than cringe at the two loopers with one question on her mind.

"I take it this is a common occurrence in your native branch?"

-ILP-

"Only in variants where it's feasibly possible." Amu mentioned to her fellow Loopers. "A wish that doesn't implant memories in loved ones, 'Dreams' that do. Or in this case, erm..."

"Midichlorians: microscopic organisms within all organic beings of our home branch." Yoda clarified. "Continually tell us the will of the Force, this powerful symbiote does to all attached."

"So does that explain how we ended up like this?" Ran complained as her newly-human blood was drawn for analysis.

"A powerful mist, Konishi has developed." Yoda remarked. "A count of 18,000 in your chara's Blood, I sense. Has the potential to rival my own and even trail our resident Anchor, your sensitivity to the Force does."

"But how is it even possible that the Force is even a thing down here!?" rebutted Ran as she pointed to down onto the floor and up through the window. "We're down here and the galaxy with the Jedi and the TiE Fighters are out there, Far Far Away as the movies put it."

"Clouded, the branch's composition is." Yoda glanced as he got up and walked towards the American children. "Within this fused Loop Yggdrasil has cast us into: Unknown factors at play, there are. It is as if Yggdrasil wants you Looping as soon as possible."

"Well, it's already got me." Bonnie smiled.

"Yes. That this is the case, your midichlorian count shows." Yoda remarked to the little girl. "Which leaves but one other:"

Andy meekly sighed "Me?"

Yoda merely nodded. "Destined by baseline to appear overseas, You were not. The Loops and their varients: caused such a shift, they have, through the Loopers caught within its cluster."

"Mom's had a fit with the older Loopers earlier today." Andy glumly stated. "She's pretty mad at them."

"Makes sense." Yu retorted from the sidelines. "Considering that this was her introduction to the multiverse, I'm not shocked that he'd take it pretty hard. Least she doesn't know about her home branch's... Quirk."

Andy glanced back to Yoda who was meditating on the logic of Yggdrasil. "They will reveal themselves to you in due time, when a suitable opportunity arises. Get some rest, you children must. For tomorrow is a new dawn."

Everyone nodded and made their way to the bed, leaving Bonnie's satchel on the floor for a group of seven action figures to scramble out of the bag to send out a Ping to the other toys in the room. One that would be answered by a plush onlooker and a more American-crafted action figure.

Chapter 11

[Toy Story]x[Kingdom Hearts]x[Star Wars]x[Persona 4]x[Shugo Chara]
Toys in the Hood (Chapter 11)

"Sora!" Woody exclaimed. "Didn't expect the expansion to hit so soon?"

"I don't think this is an expansion..." Sora shrugged. "I think I'm just a regular toy for a Sentai show this Loop."

"Hey, not to butt in or anything?" Lea Interrupted. "But did you notice that Yoda was there, too? Talking with the kids as a freakin' plushie?"

"I understand that it is a bit disorienting, and Andy doesn't exactly know the full context of how yet." Buzz silently reminded the keykids. "So it's business as usual, back to your places when human presence is imminent and stay still until all human contact has vacated the room."

"We should be safe with the kids being fast asleep." hushed Woody. "Just tell us the plan as quietly as you can and we'll see if you can execute the plan by the morning."

"The Midnight Channel's likely a thing with Yu and the others being active Loopers here." Kairi mentioned. "Maybe we could take a shortcut through there? We're pretty small enough to phase through most TV screens, so It's more than possible we could navigate our way to the Konishi Museum."

"You mean to tell me you're gonna shove us through solid glass?" Mr. Potato Head protested. "It's television, not telephone."

"If it's atomic scrambling's what you're worried about, we could always go in there." Roxas pointed to the vacant bear-suit Teddie had placed in the hamper earlier that night. "Question is, how do we animate this one."

Xion merely rolled up her plastic sleeves with a smile, "I've spent a Loop in place of one of the original seven, so I think I know enough levitation-locomotion spells to get us where we have to go."

-ILP-

Scuttling in a wobbly sprint, the mascot suit escorted the party of Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Etch, Rex and the Museum toys Sora, Riku, Kairi, Namine, Lea, Roxas and Xion over to the closed department storefront of Junes where they met their destination as they broadcasted the Midnight Channel for all to phase through via Teddie's soft and huggable costume. The head popped off as it hit the floor, allowing for the toys to exit the costume one by one.

"So this is the Midnight Channel." Woody glared with awe at the cameras. "Avoid the cameras and keep an eye on the clocks."

"Sounds like a good idea." Roxas remarked before tossing his keyblade into the air to manifest a human-scale Keyblade glider to the sheer awe of all natives to the Branch of Toys. "You getting on or what?"

"Sky-surfing!" exclaimed Rex as the others followed him on. "What a way to travel!"

Roxas and Xion clung to each side of the glider, tilting to and fro to turn it for navigational purposes all whilst watching the clocks roll on by. Within an hour or two, they found themselves at the TV display for 'Kokoro no ōkoku Pydain' The very anime and videogame franchise on which the toy line was based. "And here's our stop."

"Steamroll the cactus and cobble the coattails, we've made it to Tokyo again and it's only two twenty-two in the morn'!" exclaimed Jessie as the keykids made their way through the static of the screen. "How is it even possible?"

"Well, the structural pathways of the Midnight Channel seem to be similar to the real world we call home." Buzz Lightyear pondered. "We only have half an hour to navigate, then it's back to the Dojima resistance pronto!"

"Wait!" Sora stepped forward with a big pamphlet for tourists to give to the cowboy doll. "This contains a map of all thirteen floors of the Museum, even the IHOP next door to Konishi's penthouse office."

"Konishi has a penthouse office?" Woody reacted with surprise. "Guess that's where we need to go."

-ILP-

Staying behind in their little corner of the museum mirroring the Gigigas brand's presence, Sora and his friends wished Andy's toys well on their journey as they went into the airvents to find this Konishi fellow with a Star Shard from Sora's pocket made to channel them all back to Andy and the rest of the human Loopers.

"Good luck, you guys. We'll keep an eye out if any Heartless scale down to our level!" smiled Sora before glancing to Riku, watching with concern. "There something bothering you... about the Midnight Channel?"

"I saw a stone slab at the channel's side of the gate." Riku worried to his friend. "It had a little girl pushing out of it, as if it was trapped."

"Frozen Carbonite?" Sora guessed, to which Riku solumnly nodded. "If that's the case, then Konishi's probably up to no good."

Riku eyed Sora with an added resolve. "You think he's responsible for the Heartless swarms?"

"Can't say that he doesn't." sighed Sora with a hint of worry to his voice. "Either way, best to keep our eyes out, right?"

Riku merely assumed his usual pose from when they set him up with his friends, saying little more than the phrase: "Fair Enough."

-ILP-

Crawling through the ventways and riding on an elevator shaft, Woody led the way upwards towards the thirteenth floor where Konishi's office was perched. "Almost there..."

"The suspense is eating away at my temperament!" Rex fearfully stressed as they ascended to the vent leading to the thirteenth floor. "I can see the open vent!"

"Then jump for it!" Buzz led the initial charge against the opening with Woody and Jessie carrying Etch all the way in with a quick sprint before making the great leap into the port hole with a big crash. After a brief checkup to see if Etch was damaged, the toys marched onward through the vent to navigate their way to Konishi's office. "How much farther?" The space ranger asked.

"Just keep an ear out for voices." Woody exclaimed as they walked through the vents, navigating with an estimate based on the map Sora's given them until: "Hear that?"

The toys put an ear to the wall at the sound of a masculine voice detailing a master plan. "With the zombified brats under the thumb of Easter, they will more than likely have X-Eggs in their hearts that render them suspect to the corruption."

"No matter," Spoke Konishi to an investor, unaware of the Toys that were watching them. "We have sighted a few clean Character Eggs, one from a young girl's heart as our espers have told us."

The investor raised his eye. "Do you think they were effected?"

"Likely." Konishi pressed his curled fingers to his chin. "There were enough Midichlorians in that septic tank to impregnate an elephant. If anything, the Charas could mutate into full-blooded organic beings."

Another Investor leaned in his chair. "You think we can give biological analysis on the guests in their chosen home?"

"...Perhaps." Konishi let out a sigh as he adjusted his glasses. "Either way, we find ourselves in the presence of the Planet Earth's first Jedi Masters. Best to keep your eyes peeled, colleagues."

"Station." the gruff investor grunted to the cunning CEO of the conglomerate. Woody swallowed his breath and scurried away with the other toys in tow, causing the vents to rock a little bit and make a creeking sound that gained Konishi's attention. "Strange, we don't have any uninvited guests, do we?"

"Doubtful." Konishi rebutted. "It came from the vents so they wouldn't have fled far, it's quite difficult to fit inside one of them as you can probably tell..."

"I hope for your sake that those doubts are justified." glared the masked investor, pointing with a hand clothed in a golden gauntlet, before leaving his seat and exiting the office with the other investors. Konishi could do little more than take a sip of his wine as the fleeing toys made it to the vent hole to the elevator shaft.

"We've got to warn Andy and the rest of the Loopers." Woody worried. "Etch, write out a Map to Junes and show them everything we know once they get there."

Etch complied and completed the roadmap to the department store right as Woody and Buzz pulled out the Star Shard to get home again in a splash of light, zigging and zagging its way to the Dojima residence before the clock struck five.

Toys in the Hood (Chapter 12)

Morning came and Yu snuck into the guest room to check in on Bonnie and Andy... only to find the bunk bed empty save for a lone Etch-A-Sketch. He rushed to the living room to find the kids eating their cereal as the TV showcased the very show that Sora and friends were archived into for the Loop. "Guys, Did you draw this?"

"Draw what?" eyed Andy.

"This map of the Midnight Channel!" Yu asserted. "Did any of you draw it?"

"What's a Midnight Channel?" Bonnie glared to the silver-haired boy.

"Ugh..." Yu then looked to Teddie "You can show them around the Midnight Channel at this time of dawn, right."

"I've got enough Loops in me to earn a strong-enough Soul to do that so, yeah." Teddie nodded.

"You sure?" questioned Yu.

Teddie smiled. "Leave it to me, boss!"

"Okay, then..." Yu sighed and slumped into his chair. "So, Andy. You wanted to see the big gimmick of our native Branch?"

-ILP-

Jennifer halted the car at the red light and looked both ways, a bit disoriented from the horizontal switch-up in the driver's seat but still more-or-less taking to the road just as easily as she did in the states. "And I ask if there's anything you feel the need to get from Junes."

"Imma touch some Spaghet!" Bonnie chimed with a blissful smile.

"I could take Andy for a stroll through the toy isle," Teddie grinned. "Does that sound like fun, Andy?"

"Yep-Yep-Yep!" Andy chimed.

Jennifer gave a warm smile to her son before focusing her scowl to Teddie. "Just don't ask to share changing rooms and be back at the TV Isle to talk about what we can afford as Souvenirs."

"Yes!" Andy pumped his fist with satisfaction.

"Can I pick out a video game for my souvenir?" Bonnie asked.

"Well, If you insist." Jennifer sighed before clarified: "Region-Free Consoles only, so no Gamecube."

Bonnie frowned her familiar grumpy face before Andy popped a question to change the subject. "Mom... what was dad like?"

Jennifer showed little emotion. "A man who thinks he's the smartest man in the room but the way he treated me and this household proves that every genius is an idiot."

"Genius?" Andy tilted his head. "Is he super smart?"

"For a deadbeat, yeah..." Jennifer irritably spat. "But it won't exactly be long til he's buried at the back of your head for good."

Andy merely peeped: "I just wanted to know what he looked li-"

"I could turn this car around if you like." Jennifer glared to her son with strict resolve.

Once they arrived and everyone has picked out their souvenirs, everybody gathered around the wall of TVs where there was a news report of a group of masked heroes helping a tanned blonde muscular man pull a school bus out of a burning building that seemed to be covered in these light-blue flames that seemed to emit streaks of ones and zeroes interspersed with streams of Greek letters.

"Great, another day, Another news story about quantum storms and crackpot theories to keep your father in the limelight." Jennifer scoffed with contempt for the man she sought to avoid.

"Wow, Are those real Superheroes?!" Andy's eyes widened at the sight of the saviors.

"Huh... Guess this is a country rich in quirks..." glared Jennifer. "Then again, the suits of armor do mean that the ones with tall, broad and patriotic here are tech-centric."

"Like the Power Rangers?" asked Andy.

"Yes, Andy." Jennifer brushed his hair. "But let's not focus on the hero scene, there's a channel we need to find."

"Right!" Yu pulled a remote, flipped through channels, networks and TV commercials.

"Welcome to Al's Toy Barn..." Al's glum face showed all that they needed to know of the man's situation. "We've got the lowest prices in town, everything for a buck-buck-buck..."

As she watched the grown man bawl his shallow little heart out, Jennifer handed the remote to Teddie. "Avoid this commercial, Teddie, and we'll be on good terms."

"Sounds Bear-y Nice to me!"

Yu and Teddie were first to pass through the screen, then Andy and Bonnie walked along with them with Chie dragging Yosuke by the ear. "Owie, do ya hafta pull like that?" complained Yosuke.

"Alright, we're all here and Jennifer's off with Terra and Aqua." recapped Chie to the other five. "So now what do we do?"

"We split up." Yu

Chapter 13

[Toy Story]x[Kingdom Hearts]x[Star Wars]x[Persona 4]x[Shugo Chara]
Toys in the Hood (Chapter 13)

Bonnie, Andy and Teddie ran as fast as their prepubescent legs could carry them. Never halting until they saw the carbonite block where their path would cross with Yu and his companions.

"There! I see it!" Andy pointed out to his two allies as they began to slow down enough to see the entrance into the multi-screen system linking to the Konishi Museum. "We've made it to the museum!"

"Not yet, you haven't." Teddie turned around to face his two proverbial juniors. "We still gotta wait until Sempai arrives with the map." No sooner than when he made the comment that Yu and his cohorts made their way to the other trio. "Hey, boss! We're here!"

"Good." Yu spoke as he halted his sprint with Yosuke in tow. "And I take it this is right in front of the museum?"

"Okay, lemme check..." Teddie peeked his head through the screen to find the main lobby of the museum in all its majesty. "Right on target! So you've got a plan handy for today?"

Yu nodded to the other five: "Andy and Bonnie will navigate the Galaxy Toys outlet, Me and my friends will venture through the Midnight Channel to fend off the Heartless... If they show up, I mean."

"What about Mom?" asked Andy.

"Terra and Aqua, too." added Bonnie.

Yu adjusted his eyes before answering: "They're taking their opinions to the culprit."

-ILP-

The two youths bowed to Jennifer as they stepped after the vehicle as 'Amy' blushed: "Thank you for your service and your cooperation."

"Don't mention it." Jennifer smiled back to her junior. "Just be back safely and we can figure out how we're gonna cope with this condition."

"Roger that, Mrs. Davis..." responded 'Tyler' "May your heart be your guiding key." And with that, the two made their way towards the door and began their infiltration of the Museum. Navigating the floors, sneaking past guards if not evading or even pacifying them, all while radioing Yu and his group to keep them updated on the situation. "We're halfway up the museum, Yu. Any idea on where to go next?"

"I'd start where the midichlorian gas was sprayed, but they may have scrubbed the place clean of any evidence by now." Yu lamented before pitching. "Check the data files in Konishi-san's office to see if there's any pre-meditation."

"Aye-Aye!" Terra parted before speaking to Aqua: "We're headed to the top." And thus, they went to the top to sneak inside of the office of Hakami Konishi in all its glass glory. Glancing at their surroundings with intrigue, Terra and Aqua searched Konishi's desk for any connection to the midichlorian leak and subsequent Heartless Infestation that Konishi may have. One cabinet the history of the Konishi clan being the helmsmen of the company for three generations, another had plans for a new location in Taiwan, a brief history of cheese, all worthless towards their investigation until they came across a folder in the N-X section. "'New Results in Midichlorian Bath testing'..."

Aqua opened the folder and read the report in Terra's hands. "Midichorian scan notes indicate that four lifeforms have begun incubating within the eggs that were swallowed by the mascot costume of a passer-by, most X-Egg corrupted life forms mutated into Emblem Heartless. Unknown results in a pair of untouched children from America." Aqua's eyes grew more worried for the children when she flipped to an earlier report in April of that year. "Terra, It wasn't just yesterday. He's been experimenting on Midichlorians since-"

"1993." A third voice was heard from near the two, they soon glanced behind them to find Hakami himself in his dignified suit and fowl grimace as his guards brought in a viewscreen of the Dojima residence where both Dojimas and Hinamoris alike were being held by a group of heavily armed guards with the former Charas taking physical examinations during the ordeal. "I thought I smelled Jedi snooping about in my Museum, and of such a caliber seen only by Sora and his comrades to boot."

-ILP-

The children halted at a handmade Melee Arcade Machine and peeked through the other side to find that it led to the video game section of Galaxy Toys up to and including a wall of TV Sets for the gang to cross through.

"Ladies first," bowed Teddie to Chie as she took Bonnie by the hand and made her way up the cabinet with a footstool she pulled from her pocket.

"I thought we were going to the Toy Museum?" Bonnie pondered.

"It's close, right behind it, in fact." Chie recounted. "Plus there's the fact that we are literally walking through a screen into a toy store here in Japan."

"With toys ya can't find back in your eagle land!" Teddie beemed to his Looping junior.

"Wow! Really!" Andy's eyes widened with jubilation.

"Just don't go and shop until Terra and Aqua get to the bottom of this." reminded Yu with a sense of foreboding to his voice. "And be on the lookout for any customers that might see you phase through the screen."

"Okey-Doke!" saluted Bonnie as she pulled Andy up in her leap through the screen to the shock of the elder Loopers. "GERONIMO!"

"Wait!" Yelped Yu as a swarm of Shadow Heartless manifested from the shade that was being cast by the illumination of the screens. "Well, Looks like we've got company!"

Yosuke summoned the ethereal tarot card from the palm of his hand. "Lucky for us, this ain't no Null Loop."

-ILP-

Andy and Bonnie stumbled and rolled onto the floor, feeling the whiplash from the jump from the Melee cabinet as they struggled to stand up.

"Ugh..." Moaned Andy "And we didn't go through any of the screens because?"

"Don't look at me." shrugged Bonnie. "Teddie was the guy who showed me the screen."

Andy then mumbled: "Then remind me never to let him pick the portal again..."

"Duly noted," complained Bonnie. "My hiney hurts."

Staggering back up, Andy helped Bonnie up. "So now we gotta patrol the shop for the Heartless Guys, like we saw yesterday?"

Bonnie nodded before tilting her torso towards the passage. "Onward march! Boop! Boop! Buh-doop! Boop! Boop! Boop! Buh-doop!"

Walking through the hallways of the store with an eye open towards any enemy Heartless, Andy and Bonnie search the isles for danger with the former sighing: "Nobody seems to be here."

"Maybe it's closed for the night?" Bonnie proposed.

"In daylight?" Andy stressed as a rebuttal. "No way. There's gotta be something keeping everyone out."

"Who would keep the shop closed in the daytime?" no sooner than when Bonnie asked this question did the two children hear the movement of a plastic figure, her eyes tilted ever slightly to find a mecha toy had appeared outside of its apparent isle. (And in the Magical Girl section, no less...) "Maybe the people organizing the toys, maybe?" But then came another mecha toy, and another, and another. Needless to say, Bonnie did not like seeing those toys come to life in person as much as she did with Andy's toys.

-ILP-

Konishi walked the two keyblade masters along with a smug smirk on his face as a blonde girl with a prosthetic arm and leg walks over to set up the projector in his office so that it was hooked up to his laptop computer before turning on a rotating doorway to open up a walk-in closet of sorts with a capsule of a well-built woman with silver hair and pointed ears. "The No-Heart program has been built from the ground up as an autopsy division of the UN to dissect these dragon-like humanoids that have been found to have infested and infiltrated mankind since the Bolshevik Revolution of 1918. Many of these creatures were revealed by the green goddess incident of September 11th and subsequently hunted down or chased off to their stronghold in Cascade but not before chowing down on a few hundred humans within their proximity."

"Cascade..." Aqua skimmed through her history class memories and found further details. "The Capitol is Portland, Oregon. Is it not?"

"And was one of the first fractures from your homeland." peeped Konishi with a knowing tone to his voice, "It is still considered part of the greater United States by the United Nations' Open Globe initiative, using America and her children as the melting pot of cultures it has always been to invite aliens from other planets over to our big blue ball. That's how we found the planet Replicant, after all." his content-sounding voice gave way to lament as he clutched his wine. "Although very inviting to typical humans at first, but you soon see it for what it truly is when you see the true draconic nature of the home of this retched race. From open immigration of radical islam to demonic dragsters openly sexualizing human children to spouting insults to those who call them out by calling them facist or homophobic, Cascade is a celebration of the true hideous nature of mankind's natural predator."

"Then why can't we hunt them down?" Terra fumed to the businessman, knowing to dig up what Loop memories he had to add to his argument. "I understand the founding of Cascade was to keep them out of what little of America is left in exchange for their protection as a minority on earth, but can't we reason with the UN to fight against them."

Konishi shook his head. "They'd have to rise against humanity and break their promise in order to do so. But the No-Heart program was commissioned by the Japanese government to act as a fallback against these creatures, we have dissected the carcasses of these creatures and learned to create artificial humans with our experiments upon their remains, even recreating quirks."

Aqua's heart skipped a beat. "Quirks?"

"Yes, Quirks." Konishi began to speak with an added arrogance to his voice. "Just as some humans have quirks that make them special, so too do the branches of Yggdrasil as some cosmic immigrants have theorized. Quirks can be as mundane as a lone person, or as amazing as a mystical weapon such as your keyblade, as complex as an energy field that's being misgendered by identity politics or as simple as an alien world of sufficiently evolved animals. But all the same, these branches make up the greater whole of the world tree and might even hold the key to eternal life."

Terra glanced to Aqua with concern. "You don't think-" He was soon interrupted by an incoming guest who had hauled upon his back what appeared to be an arcade machine labeled 'Extend' on the front. Aged eighty-six with an apparent desire to go home, the lone notable characteristic of the elder was his ponytail.

"Well, Hakami, I made it." huffed the gruff-voiced man. "Despite my condition."

"Ah. Dupe Zero, Welcome." Konishi smugly smirked to his apparent elder. "I hope you're prepared for what is shaping up to be an unforgettable luncheon."

"Myeh..." the aged entity glanced to the clock with Terra and Aqua following suit to see that it was at 11:55am. "I take it you intend to flaunt me like a purse puppy?"

"But of course!" boasted Konishi "After all, you and your sister are the first in our efforts to replicate the oldest quirk in existence, Older than the oldest quirk in the known universe or so they say."

-ILP-

Janus was watching this Fused Loop with intrigue considering the amount of Branches connected to it, but then came a sight of shock on one of the display screens that showed what the Looper named Terra was seeing and what he was seeing was a pale imitation of one of the oldest Loopers in existence. "Impossible, how is this variant of a Japanese toy museum curator capable of recreating any sort of Looping Soul!?"

"What is going on here, Janus!" Nut trotted towards Janus' station in her cow form. "What's all this about a Looping Soul?"

Janus pointed to the screen representing Terra's Looping sight as Konishi gently tilts his wine glass with a slight twinge to his eye. "Tell me, Zero. What do you think is the temperature of this fine wine we had imported from Venezuela."

"Why must you ask me?" questioned the crone to the executive. "You've had it refrigerated in your private microkitchen so clearly you-"

"Ah-Ah-Ah." Halted Konishi. "The truth." The old man stood stoic and silent, earning a fierce glare from the businessman as he thought of a particular idea. "Why don't you take a feel for yourself?"

He flung the wine at the old man, Terra and Aqua watching as the aged man shifted appearance and felt the weight strain further on his... or rather her diminished muscle mass. Feeling her spine snap, the aged harridan spat: "It's as cold as your heart..." before collapsing under the weight of the machine, dying from her injuries and disintegrating from the sight of all who was observing him, including the two deities.

"First Andy, now this." Lamented Janus as he glanced to a progress bar that was at 7% completion.

-ILP-

"Unfortunately, the life cycle of the organic bodies these spirits inhabit are dreadfully short; A measly thirteen days for each cloned body." lamented Konishi as he dug through the deceased entity's clothes. "A crying shame since our cloning experiments have improved somewhat since we designed this particular method of cloning." He then picks out an X-shaped iron brooch of sorts from the clothes. "But with this key, the biological memories of these particular clones are stored in the most prestine condition that it can. Scientists from the No-Heart are still unsure if it can survive a complete timeline reset, My secretary here says that it likely won't since it isn't really the quirk in question, but with what we have in this piece of scientific progress, Shirobane technology is most certainly a start, wouldn't you agree."

"You're insane!" Terra barked towards Konishi who then looks to him in shock. "You think you can copy the Looping Soul like a file in a folder!"

"Oh, if we did, you would likely be sent off to our top scientists for dissection, and believe me when I say that they have long since given up on that dream." Konishi rightfully pointed out. "We're now more concerned with experimenting with the different ways we can use the remains left from our first intergalactic friend."

"Like we'll let you!" Terra brandishes his keyblade and charges forth at Konishi only to be met with the clash of: "A keyblade?!"

"Yes, a Keyblade. My Keyblade." Konishi was indeed brandishing a silver keyblade with a red eye at the hilt and another bridging together the teeth. "For I am not just the man behind the spraying of Midichlorians on Easter-Invited guests, I am also among its clients."

-ILP-

The Inaba detectives were fending off the heartless, Yosuke struggling with his acrobatic attacks with his smaller body and inevitably tripping up into a pratfall on the windup of his Moonsault.

"This shouldn't be this hard," Yosuke complained.

"Quit your whining." Chie blurted before making with her signature quick kicks, hopping forward on her free foot to make up for her shorter range. "Just get to carving up these bug-eyed freaks ASAP!"

"Okay! Okay!" Yosuke then twirled his twin daggers and charged at the Shadows with his usual reckless abandon.

"I'll cover you!" Yu brandished the most size-appropriate sword in his pocket and moved close to the more energetic of the four before glancing to Teddie to issue a command: "If there's something you want to send off to the other kids, do it now before they get too far."

"I've got a few things from their room I can send." Teddie interjected with his hand raised. "I have a beary good feeling that they'll reach them in time."

"Then do it!" Yu spoke. "Leave those things out the cabinet before we run out of time!"

Teddie moved to reach the cabinet in time as his human comrades held the line against the Heartless, It only took a minute or two for Teddie to find the distinguishable arcade machine in question and dig into his costume to pull out the contents of his costume, a cardboard box filled with toys, Andy's Toys. Giving a minor push onto the control table, Teddie leads the toys back out of the Midnight Channel. "Please be part of the fused Loop, Woody." he sheepishly peeped before returning to Yu's side before summoning Saturnus as Izanagi was already out in front for an offensive pushback maneuver. "Ready when you are, boss!"

-ILP-

Rex was first to pop out of the Box with Hamm's subsequent exit resulting in the box tipping over and falling to the ground to spill out the rest of the toys. Nonchalantly getting back up from such a fall not to have been felt until the baseline trip to Sunnyside, Woody adjusted his hat and looked to his group. "Everyone alright? Hamm, Rex, you alright up on the shelf?"

"This gonna take long?" questioned Hamm from the control table.

"Hopefully not." Buzz answered before glancing back the cowboy. "This is the same Galaxy Toys from the oncoming expansion for Kingdom Hearts, right?"

"Only one way to find out." Woody sighed before looking at the video game section he finds himself in. "Do you think we can get a map of the layout round here?"

-ILP-

Amu was leaning back in the passenger's seat of the car. "Thanks for picking us up, Mrs. Davis."

"No problem." Jennifer smiled back to the Joker. "Anything to help a friend of Andy's in this perticular time of need."

"Mrs. D?" asked Ran. "Can we get out now?"

"Not until the other grown-ups get out safely, they said they wouldn't be long." Jennifer eagerly tapped at her wheel as she waited for the two youths to emerge from the Museum in one piece only to hear an explosion come from the penthouse office as three shadows lept from the building and clung to the walls of a nearby building. She then began to drive swiftly towards the three shadows, giving chase with the Hinamoris in tow as her eyes focused on the clashing figures lining the sky.

"FIRAZA!" Roared a strong voice as the figure that owned it launched a powerful spell against Konishi which he had barely dodged as he watched the flaming fist graze the abandoned warehouse district before clashing onto the ocean. Jennifer knew when to stop and hit the brakes when she could get a clear look at the three figures: Twas Konishi himself brandishing a familiar weapon against 'Tyler' and 'Amy'.

"Damn..." Konishi brushed the embers off of his suit. "You've certainly got quite the magic, haven't you?"

"And it's just as hot as his head." joked 'Amy' as she backflipped on a metal bar by the building. "Don't worry, I know how to chill you out."

Konishi raised an eyebrow to the young woman. "Is that a fact?"

"Pretty much..." 'Amy' thrust her blue rod-like sword of pipes against Konishi as if to target him for a powerful blow, and sure enough, the man found himself incased in an ice cube and then sent flying to 'Tyler' "Batter up!"

"You're done!" 'Tyler' into the air and slammed his brown strombato-like blade down against Konishi to knock him towards the ocean only for Aqua to freeze his momentum cold so she could warp to and fro to cut at the frozen prison of Konishi in rapid succession before 'Tyler' began to wind up a swinging attack that was building up heavy winds: "THIS IS IT!" With one strong swing, 'Tyler' launched a strong blow against Konishi with a whirlwind spinning him like a record before slamming him against a wayward wall, releasing the man from his frigid prison.

"Such strength." Konishi staggered out of the resulting crater with blood, sweat and condensation. "Such is the power that surpasses any and all traditional legends of Jedi History." He slowly limped towards the two keyblade masters with a fire building in his eyes. "But there is more to Shigabane than just recording memories of each short life lived." Konishi pulled the x-shaped pin from his suit pocket. "It is theorized that the power of the clone can be used to augment the abilities of a natural human." He pulled his dress shirt up to reveal his slender core. "Let's put that theory to the test, shall we?"

"He wouldn't!" huffed 'Tyler' before seeing Konishi stick the pin in his exposed belly button and twisting it to its usual x-shape.

"He would." Aqua sighed with her hand rubbing against her forehead before Konishi engaged a firey pink aura barrier around him.

"Ya wanna get nuts, then fine!" snarled Konishi. "Let's get nuts!"

-ILP-

Running towards the voices of their patron children, Woody, Buzz and the rest of the Toys make their way to their proximity, making sure to hide when they can. They halted when they found the two children cornered at the exit by Gigas mechs.

"Andy!" Woody yelped.

"Great..." Potato-Head rolled his eyes. "How are we gonna be of any help? Looping or not, he'll flip if he sees us."

"We'll have to commendeer the Gigas." Buzz interjected. "If Sora could hijack one of them, it would only make sense if we could do the same."

The toys thought long and hard only to hear a loud: "YEE-HAW!" followed by the sounds of Gigas mech toys being bashed out of the way of an unruly member. "Come on down, fellers! They're ripe for the ripping!"

-ILP-

Swinging about his knives through the heartless, Yosuke kept at the assault with such resolve as the other three of his allies smite the last of the shadows. "Phew, talk about a real workout, eh?"

"I dunno..." Yu stressed to his comrades. "Something about this doesn't feel right..." His concerns were soon met with confirmation in the form of a trifecta of oncoming Darksides. "Out of the frying pan..."

"And into the fire." Chie watches as one of the Darksides wound up a punch so she could figure out how to dodge the oncoming attack. Once the punch made contact with the ground, the personas went at the bare arm as the children climbed up the forearm and onto the shoulder where two sets of two children took the opportunity to leap over onto the heads of each of the Darksides to the left and the right. "Hold on tight!"

"Why's that?" Teddie's answer came in the form of a round of heat-seaking missiles to the face with another round on the way that Saturnus acted to block in any way it could. Teddie soon spotted the same Darkside they hopped off of scooping up pure darkness for a powerful attack... only to be struck down from behind by Izanagi. "Good save, boss!"

"Don't celebrate just yet." Stressed Yu. "There's still two more to get out of our scalps."

-ILP-

With Jennifer driving as fast as the fuel tank of her vehicle could carry her, Amu and her siblings clung to their respective seatings as they looked for the two young adults that found themselves on the receiving end of Konishi's kind battering.

"There they are!" Amu pointed with shock, prompting Jennifer to hit the brakes on the vehicles to the sight of 'Tyler' catching a battered 'Amy' in his arms before administering a curious green glow onto her wounds that healed them with relative ease.

"Had enough?" Konishi taunted as his bright pink aura gave way to a deep violet hue. "Pity, for I intended to pull out all the stops with you little rascals."

"Mister Konishi, look at yourself!" 'Amy' blurted out to the man. "Do you even see what that thing is doing to you? You've opened your biological cells to pure darkness! There's almost no way of going back if you keep pushing this!"

"So What!?" complained Konishi with a slasher grin. "With my ultimate key, I can wipe the floor with any Keyblade Master!"

"The last time we had to deal with concerns for an 'ultimate key', It ended with countless lives ruined and existences created simply to die." As 'Amy' spoke to Konishi, a sort of weary look to her eyes manifested for those who knew of such reasons to recognize and understand. "If you want to pander to such delusions and arrogance, then I hope you can cope with the consequences."

"Why yes, I think I can." The man pressed his fingers to his temples as if to channel some sort of electromagnetic current to the tips before launching it against the two. They thankfully dodged and equipped their armor in the air before sprinting towards Konishi with all their swiftness and agility. "Go on, then. Keep up your pathetic display!"

"You'd say it's pathetic..." 'Tyler' huffed underneath his helmet. "But in the countless years we've lived, we've touched many hearts to the point where a lot of them now stand alongside our might as a part of us!"

"We've connected with friends, our hearts acting as our guiding key!" 'Amy' steadied her ground. "If you can't possibly comprehend that, then you're free to let your cold heart blacken with the negative vibes you've shown to us this night!"

"Fine by me!" agreed Konishi as he let the darkness wash over his form, only to seemingly feel unwell... "Shigabane Power... MAXIMUMUUUUUURRRRRR!" The erupting shadow creature that exploded into being was no longer the man named Hakami Konishi but a six-armed beast in brown and black, A golden cobra-head indicating a familiar aura to him. An Arabian outfit and three sharp talons on each hand told the story of exactly what Konishi's greed had led him to become.

"An abomination beyond hope of salvation?" glared 'Tyler' with a hint of lament. "Fitting words for what you've made yourself into."

-ILP-

More heartless were being battered away by Bonnie as she brandished a plastic lightsaber. Sooner or later, they came down to the dead-end corner of the store for adult-oriented collectables. "Uh, oh..."

As the Gigas toys and the Soldier heartless marched ever closer, a lashing Deserter was soon met with oblivion by means of a laserbeam fired by a skyward Gigas as it made the full three-point landing to knock a few of its cousins onto their feet. The two children looked in awe of who this new player was before it went into a battlecry to indicate what was to come next. Andy and Bonnie looked in amazement of the flying toy looking to bonk out the Guardian Heartless from its cockpit so that the crystalized heart-shaped jewel would be released from its dark biomass with a swift kick of another rouge Gigas. "How's that for a rodeo?"

"Now let's round up some shadow critters!" a third Rogue Gigas emerged from the masses with more set to reveal their true colors themselves.

The flight capacitors on the first of these Rouge Gigas promptly engaged as its pilot declared: "To Infinity and Beyond!"

-ILP-

"On three!" Yu spoke through a handmade megaphone that Teddie made from a squirrel, some string and a megaphone. Teddie had also conceived a decent enough plan to take down the Darksides and reach the two children in a short span of time. Using the momentum from the Personas' final strike against the Darksides, they can propel themselves towards the Cabinet Screen and be quicker in their commute to Andy and Bonnie. "One... Two..."

"THREE!" Cheered Teddie to prompt Izanagi and Saturnus lunged at the creatures, vanquishing them on the spot and pulling the Inaba Loopers into the air by the slingshot Teddie had connected to both Personas. Their legs scrambled to keep themselves up before the Cabinet came into sight when they flipped through the screen and landed as elegantly as they could under these childlike conditions: Chie landing with the most grace and Yosuke being crushed by a tumbling Teddie. "Awawa... We could have beared better..."

"Easy for you to say!" mumbled Yosuke under the bear suit.

"Everyone, Focus!" Yu glared back to his fellow Loopers. "We need to get to Bonnie and Andy as soon as we can."

"Right!" Chie asserted. "Let's get back up and get moving fast!"

"Okey-Doke!" Teddie rolled back up off of Yosuke and kneeled down to help him up, then went along to carry him along their way towards the two American children with a sense of resolve to protect them from whatever they've got to deal with at this particular moment. "How much further, boss?"

"Just a little more, I can hear their voices." Yu's sprint slowly degraded in speed as they approached the crowd of Gigas toys looming closer. "There they are!" Yu brandished his katana with Yosuke close behind with daggers in hand to join in the fight, only to find that there are a few among the Gigas stamping out the remaining Gigas. This prompted Yu to halt in his tracks, then signal his three fellow Loopers to stand down and back away. "Don't look, all. We all know who's driving those mechs..."

Hopping about and trampling throughout the district, the demon that was once Konishi was eager to crush the man's two opponents once and for all with Jennifer watching with sheer horror and Amu looking with a sense of resolve. "I'm going after them."

"Don't you dare!" scolded Jennifer.

"Well, somebody has to help them!" Amu howled back. "Do you even care about them!?"

"Of course I do!" Jennifer reasserted. "But they can take care of themselves!"

"They'll die if we don't do something!" Ran argued.

"They're just like us, they're risking their lives to save ours!" Miki added.

"They've been through harsh lives and dangerous destinies-desu!" Su augmented.

Jennifer merely looked by the side with lament before seeing a sort of spark, a stubbornness like with Bonnie but tempered by a youthful wisdom like 'Amy' has. She then relented and unlocked the car doors for Amu and her sisters. "Kick his can, kids."

Amu nodded with such vigor before refocusing her sights to Kurt Zisa and readied her transformation: "My own heart, unlock!"

-ILP-

It was now five good Gigas against four leftover mechs and they brought the heavy artillery to knock one of them down, bashing in two heads before sweeping the legs of the lone remaining mecha to Andy and Bonnie's shock. The leader of these Rouge Gigas dusted his hands and chimed: "And that's that. Good work, team. Pack it in and I'll catch up with Andy real soon."

"How do you know my-?" Andy started before realizing who he was talking to. "It's you in there, isn't it."

"Tree-dangit..." The lead Gigas glanced to Andy with lament towards the goings-on. "Sorry that our first true meeting had to be this way, the gang don't know what I'm doing with ya and they're still waiting on this particular moment... They think you're Looping."

Andy merely nodded his head. "Kind of a stretch..."

"Not as much as you'd think." The voice in the Gigas lamented "I've heard whispers from our Admin, We're close enough for a Soul to be possible, but we don't know exactly what's going on right now..."

"Do you think I can become a Looper at any moment." Andy asked the mech.

"Depends on how close you are to the Anchor, pal." answered the Gigas.

"Well, where even is he?" Andy's question was met with the cockpit hatch of the Gigas opening wide to reveal a familiar cowboy doll: "Woody..."

Konishi's heartless form was gearing up for a final strike at the two Keyblade Masters with a kniving grin on his deformed face when a voice piped: "Emote Pulse!" and promptly kicked Konishi in his corrupted skull with a powerful blow that knocked him away from 'Tyler' and 'Amy' with such force. "Guess I came in just in time, huh."

'Amy' glanced to the young face amongst them and smiled: "I guess Jen couldn't help but let you loose..."

"I guess it's in the eyes!" blushed Amu as she readied herself for another strike and 'Tyler' aimed his Keyblade at Konishi for a round of Shotlock Magic. Amu spotted a certain point at the deformed Heartless Creature, an x-shaped point that was glowing green. "Ty, Aim Amy at that pin!"

"Wait, the Shigabane key?" 'Tyler' pondered before the proposed idea crossed his mind and he realized the tactical advantage this could bring. "You got it! Ready, 'Ames'?"

"As I'll ever be..." 'Amy' eyed back before redirecting her glare to Amu with a subtle joke to herself. "What is with girls suggesting things that get other girls dirty..." She watched 'Tyler' transformed his keyblade into an incredibly large railgun which she promptly slid into the barrel of as if to ready herself to be fired out with the ammunition. With one shot, she braced the whiplash in her legs and swung her Keyblade against Konishi's chest. With that, her rush to get to the Heartless Creature's supposed naval piercing began. 'Tyler' launches Thundraza at the creature to stun Konishi and allow 'Amy' plenty of time to reach the hilt of the creature's gut before being swiped away by its lower arms as it manifests a sort of sphere. This silencing spell has the consequence of leaving 'Amy' unable to speak and thus, incapable of casting her signature spells. And for an encore, Konishi spins about the sky in either one of two ways towards the two Keyslingers.

"Remake Honey!" Amu spews a spray of odd substance onto his upper arms with her whisk before landing a powerful punch onto its magic-holding hand that releases the captive voice before it begins swinging its swords in a helicopter-like fashion with reckless abandon as if to signal the ides of war before twisting and turning its body against 'Tyler' who then answered with a bite into a chocolate-coated ice cream to apply a powerful aura with an earthy power to it. "Going with Earthshaker?"

"You know it!" The man's swinging keyblade and clashing blows shook and shifted the ground beneath them, his focus aiming at the golden shelled turtle as the snake-like head squirmed in pain. "Now take your exit over on stage... White Left..." He then summoned three large earth crystals from the ground to bash the beast against one of the ruined warehouses, freeing the remaining voice from its grasp.

"Thanks..." 'Amy' spat as her hoarse chords loosened back to normal, she glared to the demon as it created an ethereal barrier to protect from physical attacks. "I've loaded a Triple Firaga or two in my deck, and you?"

"Some Firaga Burst..." 'Tyler' scratched the back of his head. "You thinking what I'm thinking?" No sooner than when the deed was discussed before an incoming collage of tornados swept them off the ground with powerful g-forces and harsh momentum. The moment they landed flat onto their backs in front of Jennifer's car, the two were out of breath and out of luck. She went over to carry them back into the car faster than Konishi can step on the lot of them... only to see the barrier broken with a finely-timed rifle shot to the chest.

"Amu, did you see that!?" Ran telepathically exclaimed. "It straight-up shattered! Just like that!" Amu then looked to the top of a certain building to find a cloaked sniper who then makes his way out of focus for the night. "Guys! Now's your chance!"

'Amy' slowly aimed her Shotlock at Konishi's X-key before spraying her final barrage at the stunned creature to smyte him once and for all. As she watched te disembodied heart ascend to the stars, she let out a sigh and spoke: "Right on the money..."

"Come on, you two..." Jennifer hushed as she helped the two get back into the car. "Let's go home." Amu and her charas followed suit in helping them into the car, following it as it drove by the cloaked figure. It let out a sigh as it watched from the distance and turned away to exit the area, a knowing look beneath his goggles.

The board of investors looked in awe at the destruction of their CEO, his flatlining pulse displayed upon the screen as they looked among their remaining numbers with a sense of retreat in their minds. "Get Shigata-san on board and release the dummy clone on the double, we're stepping away from our more dubious shareholders."

"A wise decision, sir. Better to burn the bridges rather than let them walk over us." Spoke an older shareholder to the side of the head. "The problem now is with our guests, he was meant to have sent them back by this time tomorrow and with him gone-."

"Well, we get Shigata up here in his new office, explain the necessity of someone to fill his shoes." stood the lead shareholder, a balding fellow with a pen in his pocket as he twiddled with it a bit before looking to his co-workers. "We might need to offer Jennifer Shigata's job as a means to keep her quiet about our fallen leader's actions."

"Excellent idea, sir." smiled one of the other shareholders. "Quick Question, by the way..."

The lead glared to his junior. "Go on."

"Does this mean we have to pull out of the No-Heart program?" he peeped.

"Makes no sense to stay now that we have the key to what we came for." glared the man. "There's an untapped market for Bottom-Up Ai programs, and we intend to embrace it as our next venture."

"But what of the Shigabane child?" Glanced one of the female shareholders towards the small blonde. "Do we hide her in the Garage Island on Replicant?"

"If it keeps the likes of Dicker and his ilk off his back, then we must make it so." The lead shareholder walked forward to the blonde to rustle her locks with a smile. "How would you like to reach for the stars?"

With the doors unlocked by their masters, Andy and Bonnie rushed out of the toy store and into the arms of the loving mother that brought the keyslingers here after a fight well fought. Eager to explain the whole to his mother, Andy began "We were so scared but our Anchor came to save us! it was cool, Mom! You'll never guess who it is!"

Jennifer promptly answered with a punch to the shoulder. "That's for not telling me about Terra and Aqua's true nature."

"Eheheh..." Andy's eyes had a sense of worry to them. "You know about that?"

"I know everything." Jennifer answered.

"You gotta admit." Andy smiled. "This'll be one for the scrapbooks for sure!"

As they made their way back to the car, Andy notices that there are people rushing a gernie-bound body into an ambulance. Recognizing the body as that of Hakami Konishi, Terra (No sense in calling him 'Tyler' anymore.) rightfully points out to Aqua in a secretive whisper. "It's likely a clone."

Aqua (The Character of 'Amy' is no longer here) nodded in agreement and glanced to Andy. "We had a little disagreement with Konishi-san on the usage of Midichlorians, more specifically the means of how it can clone individual beings. One thing led to another and before we knew it, he got himself poisoned with his own science."

"Is he going to be okay?" Andy asked.

"We're just going to have to wait and see." Aqua half-smiled before walking towards the car with a sense of relief in her heart and a feeling of suspiscion towards the future.

Driving back into the driveway at the Dojima residence, the triumphant heroes slowly trudged back up to the front door upon exiting the vehicle. When they opened the door, the first thing Jennifer did was cradle Molly in her arms as she delicately sat on the couch for a spell, watching the even more exhausted champions flop onto the nearest comfy surface to sleep.

"They've had a long day today, Molly." comforted Jennifer as the group of fighters curled up and fell to their slumberous fate for the night... only for the phone to ring tirelessly for someone in this particular house.

"Dojima-saaaaan..." moaned Bonnie.

"Save your breath kids, I got it..." Jennifer got up and walked over to the phone, laying the now sleeping Molly into the pram before picking up the phone. "Dojima Residence, if English isn't your type of tongue, I can take the phone over to the man of the house."

"Jen, right?" asked a familiar voice. "It's Shigata-san, I've got some news from up on high concerning the top of the mountain so to speak..."

"Hold on..." Jennifer froze for a spell. "Is it about Konishi-san?"

"Yeah, there's been an accident with recalibrating the lighting." Shigata-san spoke "He wants me to take over the company as CEO while he's recovering."

"Really?" Jennifer's eyes widened. "Well, in that case... My congratulations to you, sir."

"And that's not even the best part!" exclaimed Shigata. "I've been egged on by investors to pass my old role to you. As of right now, you are in the running to be the new VP of International Relations."

Jennifer stepped back in shock. "Gosh, this... This is all too much to take in..."

"Take your time, Ma'am..." hushed Shigata. "I understand how big of a lifestyle change this is."

"I know, but it's just..." Jennifer glanced to her children, "It's my children. They have lives back home in America, and I can't just uproot just because of-."

"Well, one of Konishi's trusted shareholders requested you." mentioned Shigata to the intrigue of Jennifer, herself having the experience of seeing the 'Animal' Konishi had become dissipate into darkness that night. "He's comforting Konishi in the hospital right now."

"Two of my fellow guests came over to his office to talk with him that night." Jennifer mentioned. "What they saw in there..."

"Whatever it was, the investors have made a decision to clear the clutter out for the new management." Shigata reassured to the woman. "This includes the midichlorian research that's stuck you in this position to begin with..."

Jennifer looked to the younger generations as they slept the night away, then let out a sigh before putting the phone. "I take it you're already uprooting?"

"Yes." Nodded Shigata "We're working on the purchase of your house from the Landlord so we can start packing up the necessary things."

"Guess there's no escape from this, eh?" Jennifer lamented as she glanced back to Molly. "One question, can you send some of Andy's teachers over as well..."

"Sure." chuckled Shigata. "Why do you ask."

"Because I want Andy to know his native language just as well as your native language."

-END KONISHI ARC-

And that closes the book on Bonnie and Andy for this particular time in their lives, they'll be spending the next few years in Japan to get acquainted with the super scene there with nothing left for this era than little one-shots that bridge the gap between this moment and the next arc with the Guardian sleepover. If anyone is eager to write these one-shots along with me, then by all means, do help yourself to the best of your ability. Both kids have quite the imagination, Andy's a creative storyteller and Bonnie's a bonne-certified artist in the making. That, friends, is a perfect jumping-off point for nurturing their friendship. Thanks to everyone who stuck by me for the past couple of months, but for now, playtime's over and I have ideas that have been brewing in my brain. Maybe I can get to a snip with Belle raising Boo or make good on my promise of 'Family Treasures'

News of the shake-up at Konishi spread like wild flowers with word even spilling into top-tier science facilities like the one helmed by a man with black hair and a peppered beard who was processing the news from a reputable source. A graying brunette with a moustache as large as his hairline was retracting leaned by to read the article to his surprise. "Wow, Hakami really goofed up with his 'Shigabane' experiment, didn't he?"

"Well, biological cloning is quite the young science when you put it that way." spoke the bearded scientist. "Not like advanced robotics, Ai networking, or even the science of Quirks which have had their time to flourish and bloom."

"What I am intrigued about is who they got to replace him." The moustachioed man chuckled to himself. "I wish Shigata the best with this Museum of his, but did he have to pass his old position to an American guest from a turn of events?"

"Not just any guest, Albert." Spoke the bearded man to his colleague. "A woman I knew in life, an old flame from my youth..."

"Well, fess up. Who is it?" asked Doctor Albert Wily. "Is it LaLinde, she taking up an interest in clones?"

"No, it isn't her..." responded Doctor Thomas Light "The new VP was once my wife."

Chapter 14

Enter Riley

Riley was not exactly into this Loop, her dad was working with inventory and deployment of Robot Masters and the 'Smash Bros.' Line of miniatures and that meant that she was under the care of Doctor Thomas Light of the Mega Loops. But then Riley and Light found out about who Riley was replacing that Loop and thus, here she was as a part-time lab assistant to Doctor Light in place of Roll and even Rock himself. Did this mean she was going to become Mega Man? Or maybe this meant something else since her Loop Memories said something about her admiring a glowing golden superheroine. Regardless, she rolled with it as best as she could and kept her circle of friends tightly knit which was a lot bigger than it usually was. Jordan was there, sure, but then there was Kamela Khan who introduced her to the Superhero Scene, Amadeus Cho who's a fun-loving kind of geek, Sacorro Rivera who was a compulsive liar, and Lan Hikari who's father is Dr. Light's nephew as she noted in her diary.

I'll admit, things are a lot more diverse this Loop and enjoyable for what I've been dealt.

Then there's Riri.

Lord-Slag-Frack. Riri.

Where to even begin with Riri.

She slipped Thirium in my milkshake and made me admit the way I cheated on my lifestyle change, made me miss the bus to test her cuffling web shooters, then she kept me up all night working on an 7th Grade Science Fair project (throughout the summer, mind you.) But then came the Battle of New York In the middle of that year.

She lost her father in the scuffle, despite Spidey's best efforts. No one's ever heard from the webslinger since.

I came over to comfort her after the, only to find that she's doubled down on her passion project: Ironheart Armaments. Custom Armors in the same vein as the Iron Man armor she's reverse engineered for the Science Fair.

And that's why she was aching to see me at work, to see the cybernetics at play with the Robot Masters I interact with on a regular basis.

Riri couldn't help but revel in the pivots and shafts in the hydrolics that lay exposed in its wait for completion, oohing and ahhing at all the bells and whistles she could fiddle with as Riley watched along with the fully-assembled Robot Masters. "The composition, the craftsmanship, its all so smooth and sleek! And I hear this is for a Break Man, ya?"

"No, that would Ocean Man, tide-predicting robot." Riley glanced. "Break Man's still in the conceptual phase."

"Are you literally asking me if any of this matters to me?" Sneered Riri. "It really doesn't."

"Then why are you even oggling at the frame?" Riley asked.

"Because these are straight-up robots!" Riri beemed. "With Hydrolics under chassis and everything!"

"All building from the infrastructure I designed," Wily replied with a grin. "You are welcome, by the way."

"Always a pleasure to see the Real Man behind the Mecha as it were." Riri complimented to Wily, who then cracked a genuine smile at her. "The only thing that can make this the best day of my life would be if-"

Knock-Knanananock-Knock-Knock!

Riri looked the monitor that was attached to the doorway and saw an iconic face of tech saying to the camera: "Yeah, Hi. I'm looking for Tommy. We're supposed to go to Japan on a business trip, is he around?"

Twas the face of Tony Stark himself.

-ILP-

An Ai assistant modeled after Lenny moved quickly to inform Thor (The Original, you might say.) of news: "Sir, It's Riri! Her instability percentage dropped two whole points!"

-ILP-

"It's always Doctor Light..." Complained Dr Wily as Riri stood silent with the widest grin upon her face, her life complete with the chance encounter of her dreams. "I'll go deliver you to him if you wish."

"No, I'm perfectly fine with getting to his lab myself." Tony let himself into the household and shook hands with Riri before glancing to Riley. "Riley, Right? Is Tommy still in his lab?"

"And hard at work on a new machine that'll likely put CyberLife to shame." Riley pointed out. "Why do you ask?"

"I need to take him on a little business trip to Japan to the Konishi Museum." Tony remarked to the blonde preteen. "There's this lady in charge of international relations who's stepping down right now to support her kids."

"You mean his ex-wife?" Riley retorted. Tony stepped back a foot or two to ponder the ramifications before Riley continued. "Don't worry, he already booked his flight last night and I'll be sure to tell him when to depart on his afternoon flight."

"Perfect!" Tony chimed before dashing to the computer to check up on the familiar faces. "One quick question before I pick him up."

"Yeah, go ahead." Riley glared back.

"Where's the regularly scheduled Rockman."

Big in Japan

Tony did not hesitate to cancel Doctor Light's flight in favor of a trip on his private jet, and sure enough, it reached Japanese shores in half the time traditional jets could carry them. Tony had rented them a condo for the week that they were allowed to stay and even had Riley have supplementary schooling in Seiyo Elementary. "Ooh, Sakura petals!" Joy oggled with her standard style of glee. "Just as pink as they are in anime! I still can't believe we're in Japan!"

"And in a Variant Feige Loop to boot!" added Sadness. "I can't wait to watch the superheroes fly only to discentegrate at the tail end of it all..."

"Not to worry, I'm already hard at work on compiling everything that can go wrong in a Japanese School." Fear reassured. "Including separate entries for individual Kaiju."

"You guys," Riley quietly hushed to her innermost friends. "It's just one week. The last in the year, we're not staying that long."

"That's no excuse to skip out on the first impression." Disgust retorted. "If anything, it makes this even more important!"

Riley continued to walk to her class before bumping into a towering figure as she closed in on her homeroom, Anger was not amused so he got Riley to muster up the gumption to say: "Could ya scoot a bit, sir?"

"Why don't I let you in," He turned around to reveal the face of a japanese man adorned with a cap that had tattered somewhat in the back to reveal slightly mustled-up hair. His eyes had a penetrating glare to them that intimidated Riley and her emotions (even Anger!) "I already told my other students about you so you can proceed to your desk as normal."

"Oh, sure." Riley blushed in a panic, "I promise I won't be too much of a hassle for this week, Mr. Kujo! You are Kujo-sensei, right?"

"The Loopier folks tend to call me Jotaro." the man, named Jotaro, opened the door and let Riley into the homeroom as she took her seat with relief towards not having to recite her introduction for once. Jotaro then shut the door and said in his native language: "Treat Riley with respect, that goes double for our imminent graduates."

"Will do, Kujo-sensei." The children spoke in japanese as the class began. As Jotaro began to lecture on in Japanese, Riley kept her nose in the dictionary to translate what Jotaro was saying before find herself poked by a familiar face.

"Don't worry, cousin. It wasn't easy when my and my buddy started either." It belonged to a more american-sounding student. Wavy brown hair and lightly-tanned skin complimented a warm, welcoming smile. "Tell ya what, I'll let ya skim through my notes if ya like."

"Thanks." Riley smiled back as she copied away. "So... you're a Gaijin, An American in Japan?"

"Eyup!" The other girl hushed. "My best friend's the son of a museum bigwig!"

"You're friends with Andy Davis?" Riley's eyes widened, she's heard of the Toy Story movies from passers-by Loopers throughout her life and heard plenty of praise about them. The fact that Andy is here in Japan means that she was in a Fused Loop with the Branch in question, so she had to keep her cool and hide her foreknowledge. "His mom's VP of Foreign Relationship, right?"

"Mhmm..." The girl nodded. "But she's aiming to exit when we graduate next week."

"Can't say I'm shocked." Riley shrugged. "Rumors say she got the job after good ol' Konishi wound up kicking it as he bumped Shigata-san up to the CEO Position. Think you know a thing or two about that."

The girl sheepishly looked away before introducing herself. "I'm Bonnie."

-ILP-

She listened into the class and skimmed at Bonnie's notes as it went along, all while they silently shared small talk throughout. After class, Bonnie invited Riley over for Lunch where they waited for the Guardians club she was a part of. "So what exactly do you guys do in this club?"

"Help other students, mostly." Bonnie sipped her milk. "But there are other things that fall onto our plate from time to time."

"Like what?" Riley gazed.

"Like Nobodies." Bonnie leaned back and glanced behind her. "You've played the Kingdom Hearts Games, right?"

"One and Two, yes." Riley responded. "Looking into playing Three and the spin-offs, as many as they are."

"One of those people, huh?" Bonnie sighed in lament. "At least you played the 'second' one... That's where th-Hey!" As if on cue, a Dusk monster swiped away her bookbag and scurried away into the darkness. Bonnie wasted no time in getting off on her feet to persue the creature with Riley following after.

"Okay, apparently we have Kingdom Hearts Critters to wrestle this Loop." Fear assumed. "Surprising, but not unexpected with how the branch has manifested this Loop."

"Just tell me when we break out the Kantai Gear." Anger cracked his knuckles as he readied the deploy function of Riley's Pocket. The Dusk soon slithered into the line of fire in time for the two to flank it on both sides. "How do you like your zombies, original recipe or extra crispy."

"Take it easy, cousin." Bonnie blushed to the blonde. "We've already wiped out all the corresponding Heartless, all that's left is to wrangle up them 'dere twilight critters and bop the people they were back to normal."

"So that's how they work." Fear pondered to himself before reciting the intel to his co-workers. "Take note of this for when Xehanort arrives in 3, because really, one complete nort's gonna cause some trouble when he does." But alas, a few additional Creeper Nobodies swarmed to the Dusk's side, much to the surprise of the girls. "You might wanna launch the altilary sooner rather than later!"

"Set to fire when ready." Anger was rubbing his hands together as the Big Red 'Pocket' Button glowed in his sight, Riley readied her palms for the incoming equipment when out of the blue: "YOU'RE DONE!"

The Nobodies were swiftly and severely blasted to smithereens by a large brown cannon in the sky that swiftly changed into a thick keyblade in the hands of a man with long brown hair and a beige longcoat. "Hey, Bonnie."

"Good morning, master!" Bonnie waved back. "Have you met Riley? She's from America just like us!"

"Really?" Terra glanced forward to the girl and said. "Judging from the face, you just might come from the same sort of parts as our first star pupil."

"Wait, you know of the Pixar Cluster!?" Riley glanced to the man and then to Bonnie.

"Yep!" The brunette replied. "I do too! Watched their first three flicks myself at Cowboy Camp a couple years back, me and my partner! C'mon, I'll show ya!" Bonnie quickly grasped at Riley's arm and pulled her along the way to the girl's intended destination.

The Guardian Club

The Guardians were waiting for their guest of honor at their round table, the group itself missing a few of its members as one of the designated legal... well, y'know... arrived with a mess of soot and Darkling Gunge all over her twenty-some year old body. "Guess who's been out and about putting out snarl fires all morning."

"Another one?" stressed Tadase, King's Heart and leader of the group. "Must be a lot of branches fusing together,"

"Guess Janus wasn't kidding about his collection of Branches congregating while he looked for new Admins to lighten the load." Jack's Spade Kairi Sanjou lamented to himself before proclaiming: "Isn't it just the Disney Loops that are connecting?"

King's Diamond Nagihiko Fujisaki shook his head, "The presence of Stands, Personas and former Charas serve as proof to the contrary."

"And All-Might." Mentioned Yaya, The Ace's Clover pointing at the Pro Hero of the Quirky Loops proudly stamped on the cover of a magazine with other Pros of his ilk. "Probably to compliment the Marvel Guys in the states."

"Superheroes, too?" reacted Rima, Queen's Heart chair beside Tadase but aimed solely at Nagi. "I'll admit, it's kind of a stretch but if it's because of Marvel's current climate, I won't say that It's a shocking turn here."

"Ain't that the truth." Jack's Clover Yosuke Hanamura placed his cappuccino onto an issue of Mockingbird as he yawned. "To think we were roped in because a couple of Gaijin needed to stay at the boss' place."

"Even still, I hear that Uravity and Froppy might have Actual Looping Souls." Even with the Loops slowly becoming common knowledge thanks to the Speedwagon Foundation's precautions over the years, Queen's Clover Nadeshiko Fujisaki was not very deep in the proverbial Loop about it due to being a 'Mini-Me' of sorts. "Kinda like Amu and everybody else, right?"

"Everyone else except Andy." Amu leaned back and corrected before glancing to Jack's Heart Andy. "No offence, right." Andy slumped into his seat. Amu merely rolled her eyes in lament, her role as Joker and later Joker's Wild was to act as the main trump card of sorts for when things get freaky, so it made sense that she'd be roped into a Loop as freaky as this.

"Circling back to Nobodies, Almost all the victims have returned to life as expected of their condition." Kairi stated to his peers. "Only seven names are left unaccounted for."

"Make that four!" Bonnie was walking to her seat as Ace's Diamond with her guest in tow. "Terra bopped a trio of Nobodies on the way to pick me and my new friend up from school."

"New friend?" Andy exclaimed in shock.

"Yeah, This is Riley!" Bonnie introduced as she and Riley sat by both sides of Andy. "So whaddiya think of the Guardians Club?"

"Play it cool." huffed Disgust. "Last thing they need is a bad first impression."

Riley took a deep breath and sighed: "It's alright. Still wondering where the 'Would-be Selves' are."

"Eh-Ihm..." A voice belonging to a pink-haired girl sporting side-ponytail rung to Riley.

"No way..." Riley exclaimed to her surprise. "You're the guardian characters?"

"Yep." Nodded the ponytailed pinkette, named Ran. "Midichlorians can do wonders for a growing fairy's body, don't you think?"

"As in Jedi?"

The elder brunette that watched over the Diamond's side of the table was subsequently joined by a young woman in a light blue robe. "You're technically not that far off..." She then flipped her wrist to manifest an ocean blue keyblade. "The teachings we undergo are rather similar to the Jedi Order but the power we weild is more akin to Green Lanterns."

"That's DC, right?" huffed Disgust. "Don't they have their own problems?"

"Darkseid, Chemtrails, Phantom Zones and the occasional reworking of Brother Power!" clarified Fear. "All such antics we are far away from as we speak."

"You even have your own piece of mantra recently?" Riley brought up. "'May your heart be your guiding key'?"

"Yes." The blunette confirmed. "And it's a lesson many couldn't seem to learn in baseline..."

Those who were aware of Aqua's native baseline sat silent, praying that its oncoming expansion will provide hope for her future. "But you tought us." Bonnie's words reached Aqua and Terra in a place reserved for another friend. An absent friend. "You tought us about what it means, how we hafta follow our hearts out of the darkest hours of our lives, the biggest messes we get ourselves into, set things right whenever there's trouble. That's the power of the keyblade, ya?"

Aqua smiled. "If only there were more people as simple as you..."

Doctor Light

"It's not that simple, Stark." spoke the man that stood opposite of the founding Avenger. "The conditions in which I had Awakened that Loop are a different matter in of itself."

"You mean to tell me you Awoke with a wife that loved you who was already pregnant with a second kid, and then you ditch her and the first-" the stone-faced expression halted Stark in his tracks. "Sorry... It's just that you expected your kids to be YOUR kids... I'm not exactly sure how they managed to end up locked out."

"Well, they did." lamented the elder scientist of the two. "How they did is a mystery unto itself to the point where trying to construct them as I typically do all end in failure."

"Hold up, failure?" Spoke Tony in his shock. "But the Robot Masters turned out alright, what gives?"

"Believe it or not, it wasn't about the hardware but the A.i. instead..." hypothesized the gentleman on the other side. "Hikari-san's work on NetNavis definitely helped in that department but is it enough?"

Tony just sighed and put a finger to his mandable with doubt.

-ILP-

Whist this was unfolding, Jennifer sat just outside the office with a man with spiked black hair as they fiddled with their respective devices. Jennifer glanced to the man and said: "So... you have kids, right."

"Yeah." the man spoke back. "Just recently, to be honest..."

"Is that so?" Said Jennifer. "Tell me, Have you ever had trouble with the birds and the bees as I have had?"

"Finding the perfect girl was hard, two women in high school, one from college," The man began. "Each relationship more professional than the last."

"And yet you were still interested enough to considering having kids." Jennifer raised her brow.

"It's complicated..." he continued, scratching the back of his head. "Most of the time life after High School's sort of a 'fill-in-the-blank' type deal to the point where I can count the constant elements of my post-college career on one hand."

"What's the matter?" glared Jennifer. "You're not feeling Loopy, are you?"

"Are you?"

"No," Denied Jennifer. "But my son's friends are Loopers."

The man did a double take. "How do you know about Loopers?"

"Firsthand experience." Jennifer answered with regret. "Three Years Ago, my son hitched a ride to an airport on the back of a Pizza Planet Truck to catch a guy who stole one of his toys, his favorite toy, I might add. The result saw me and my kids being forced to uproot to Japan after this sort of a domino effect got me hired by the Konishi Corporation to a VP position that I've just now penned my two-weeks notice for in time for his grade school graduation."

"It looks to be around that time, isn't it." the man lamented to himself. "But you said he had a friend who was a Looper, did he not."

"A friend from back home who led him to two others, older and more experienced." Jennifer added. "No doubt they were there to guide her through the lifestyle of the Loops. From there, I was dragged further and further and further down the rabbit hole and before I knew it, I had escorted those two Loopers to basically kill a businessman with an obsession with clones..."

"So you were complicit?" asked the man.

"Are you kidding, of course not!" Jennifer pouted to the fellow. "I was forced to take up Japanese as a second language whilst ensuring that it didn't end up as Molly's first. I was shoehorned into an executive position I didn't deserve through a need to replace the CEO they killed disguised as affirmative action."

"Calm down, ma'am." Hushed the man. "But what about your son? What does he think of all this?!"

Jennifer halted, deep in thought. Had she even asked for his opinion? And in that moment, Tony Stark stepped out to speak with Jennifer. "Erm... he asked that you and your kids join in."

"So you have." Jennifer stood up and dusted her suit as she walked through the door to see a face that she never wanted to see again, a gray-haired gentleman with a distinguished white streak in the middle of his peppered beard and a silver lining in his sideburns. "Hello, Thomas. I take it you didn't invite me for personal reasons."

"If we're being honest..." Thomas stepped forward and glanced to his ex-wife saying: "It's those same reasons that brought me to you."

Tony typed up the Skype App and messaged Riley to activate the chat. "They'll be up any moment, better brace the kids for what's coming."

"Thank you." spoke Jennifer to Stark as she walked to the computer which was ringing up for videochat. "I'm going to have to speak with Andy."

"If it's Riley, I'll ease her in." Tony offered as he clicked the green button to display the face on the other end. Blonde hair and hazel eyes provided all the details he needed. "Riley! Hey, kid. It's Tony!"

"Hey, Mr. Stark." Riley glanced at Tony from the garden with Yu leaning into frame with curious intent. "Tony Stark?"

"Yep." Tony Stark smiled back to the King's Clover. "Welcome to Earth-616."

"Holy crap, it's Iron Man!" Yosuke piped from his seat. "What's he doing here?!"

"We interrupt your club activities to give you some Light family drama." Stark then scooted over to reveal a man that catches the Jack's Heart off-guard.

A man he thought he'd never see again. "Dad?"

"Hello, Andy." huffed Thomas. "It's been a while."

"Doctor Light's your dad!?" Yosuke's eyes widened at such interactions. "Does that mean you're-?"

"Nope." Tony piped from nearby. "He's not the guy you're thinking of."

"He's not?" Yosuke stepped back and glanced to Andy in confusion. "Then what happened to him?"

"If you must know..." Jennifer bitterly spat to the scientist. "Two miscarriages and three Nobel Prizes before we had our first son."

"Miscarriage?!" Andy looked in shock.

"Jennifer, please!" The man stressed. "Not in front of poor Andrew, if he knew what came before him."

"What came before me?" Andy asked to his parents.

"No one you'd ever meet in your lifetime..." Jennifer sighed. "Or perhaps you'd like to reminisce on little Rockford?"

"I-erm... I recommend not saying that name..." Thomas objected in a haphazard manner.

"Alright, fine." Jennifer shrugged to her ex-husband. "And I guess Rolinda's out of the conversation as well?"

"Yes..." Thomas' frown was one of lament and disappointment, and one that got the attention of Yu.

"Rockford? Rolinda?" Yu's expression was of realization. "You don't happen to be Doctor Light, Right?"

"Yes, I am the same futurist, Doctor Thomas Light." The pepper-bearded man sighed to the white-haired bishonen-to-be. "Jen used to be my wife once upon a time, even used her maiden name for her children as to keep the paperazi out of their lives."

"I suppose there were supposed to be two elder siblings to your little boy." Eyed Yu.

"Yes, and there were complications." Thomas closed his eyes. "I don't wish to talk about it right now. Not for a few years, at least."

Andy silently oggled in awe as Yu pressed his index finger to his chin. "Wow."

"Okay, Doc." smirked Yosuke. "So what brings the leading mind in robotics to Seiyo of all places?"

"Consider it a graduation trip home." Jennifer answered to her Son. "If there's anything you want to do with your Guardian friends, now would be the time since when the diplomas are handed out, we're leaving..."

Silence filled the air, Andy and his friends looked amongst each other before the boy said: "You mean we have to leave our friends behind?"

Jennifer sighed back, "That's the way it has to be..."

Tony Stark leaned back to add: "You're going home."

"I guess that makes sense." spoke Yaya. "So do you want us over to help you pack up?"

Chapter 15

A post-graduation sleepover at Amu's place rounding up all the active Loopers finds Ikuto bring up his and Amu's baseline future, the long lives they lived through the Loops, and how infinite the Loops truly are with the measuring stick being Ranma Saotome, the legendary first Looper of Yggdrasil.

Packing

The time came to close up for the night with Riley and Amu accompanying Andy and Bonnie on their way home. "I know it sucks uprooting to a new country, most I get in baseline is a different state."

"No worries, cousin!" beemed Bonnie. "We're just moving back home is all."

"I know, but still..."

..

Returning home to a pile of empty moving boxes, Andy and Bonnie made their way to pick up one to pack up the first few quantities of their things.

.Amu and crew packing.

Chapter 16

Having gone full preteen angst and locking herself in her bedroom, Bonnie is worried about what's to happen in her next Loop where she is to live out her Baseline without her childhood friend Andy. Speaking of which, he turns up to ease her in and tell her that it'll be alright if they are separated by the baseline.

Chapter 17

The final Nobody arrives to stir up trouble just after Andy takes Bonnie out to ice cream to cheer her up. The Guardians go to fight it only to be picked off one by one, Andy being tossed about like a ragdoll in front of Bonnie's eyes, prompting her to unleash her true power at last in the form of a Keyblade of her very own.

Chapter 18

With all the Nobodies vanquished and the Konishi victims restored to life. Our merry band of loveable Loopers are taken back to America to live along the path between Andy and Bonnie's houses with the Japanese Loopers immigrating to Japan thanks to Phil, an uncle of Bonnie's, having pulled the proper strings to do so.

Friends beyond Time

.Andy and Bonnie are informed of Rock and Roll's current predicament.

"And I have a pretty good idea how they could have ended up like this..." Tommy pondered to his colleagues before re-aiming his focus to Jennifer "You mentioned how both your miscarriages felt as if all those weeks in the womb suddenly vanished right?"

Jennifer swallowed a bit before admitting: "Yes."

"Well, Zedd and Rita may have a hand in that due to my history with them..." Added Tommy.

"More fossils and genepools, Yawn!" Disgust moaned in boredom before sipping her cappuccino.

"That is to say my history..." Continued Tommy "...As a Power Ranger."

Disgust spat out her drink in surprise: "Yeah, okay! Un-Yawn!"

.Riley wants to save Rock and Roll.

"Your brother and sister risked their lives to save me once upon a time Loop," Riley recounted to her two looping juniors. "So It wouldn't be fair to call myself their friend if I couldn't do the same."

.'But they're unarmed!'.

Riri merely smirked and stretched her fingers. "Allow me, Tommy-Boys."

Ironheart Armaments

.Riri tinkers with the 'Spandex' suits.

"Emotions standing in disbelief." Fear added.

"I honestly don't know what's wilder." Anger stressed. "The fact that we're shoulder to shoulder with the two main kids of Toy Story or that we're giving them Power Ranger Forms..."

"You thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?" Joy asked to her special friend.

"Uhuh!" Riley smiled back.

"Engage Gratuitous Playdate Break!"

.The Ranger Forms go gold.

Time of Death

Fall of the Doctor

.fall of the doctor.

Pikachu uses electroshock, it has no effect. It cries out in fear.

Light: AAAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE! THE DOCTOR, YEN-SID, It'll be us next!

L's final meeting

Shouichiro: Doctor, we're paying our respects in this private room so that the public won't hear of what you've become under Kira's wrath. But rest assured, this is not over yet. We'll continue to work with police from around the world and now... across the universe itself. I swear to you, we will catch Kira and arrest him, that's our promise to you. Soon, you can finally rest in peace.

L: Indeed... Even with the convoluted adventure you've dragged us through with supernatural card games, mystical keys and fantastic realms, your tragic fate has provided us a helpful hint in this investigation. Your first companion Ian Chesterton, he wrote your name onto the face of Big Ben entirely from memory. The implications from this stunt has all sorts to new leads, from old enemies to new threats.

Rue: Doctor, It wasn't your fault, you've led us to find the greatest friends and endure the darkest times. Despite your corrupted morals, you still saw to it that we came together to become stronger people through our journey. These memories we've made on our way here, all the good and the bad, I would never give them up for anything.

Tama: I'm scared... all the battles... all the hurting... I didn't ask to exist as consequence of your actions, but the fact that I'm alive to stand before you means you never mean for us to suffer. You wanted us to flourish and grow into our own as people, and the part of you that was still you fought to make that happen. That part of you is the you we want to live up to.

Light: That's right. No matter the culprit, human or not, the goal remains the same: To catch Kira and avenge the Doctor. Solving this case will be our last gift to him, to Ian, to Adric, to Amy, Rory, and River, to all of Kira's victims, and to the universe he dedicated his life to protect. I swear right here and now, I will send Kira to his execution.
