Toys in the Hood (Chapter 8)

Daisy woozily opened her eyes to find herself on the inside of a Jet Liner, She then looked to the window to the sight of the ocean floor closing in on a collection of islands just over the horizon. "Whu-huh?"

"Isn't this exciting?" Jennifer's voice got her attention onto the adult as she cradled her sleeping toddler. "We get to explore a part of the world we rarely get to see and I'm sure the children will learn something about different cultures."

Daisy was dumbfounded in her drowsy stupor. "I was babysitting Molly and then this knight in armor turned up and cast some kinda spell."

"I found you sleeping on the job and was more than happy to take you and Molly along with us to Japan." 'Ty' glared to the sitter from behind the women. "I hope this doesn't do too much damage to your college education."

"If it's only for the week, I guess it won't." Daisy absent-mindedly assured to her senior.

On 'Tyler's side of the seating, Bonnie and Andy were sitting impatiently at the thought of going to Japan.

"Worry not." Yoda clarified from within Aqua's purse. "Only an indulgence on Aqua's part, this brief detour is."

"But what about my mommy?!" questioned Bonnie. "She's gonna be worried sick about me!"

"Calm down, Bon." Aqua hushed. "I called her up on the way up and she wants you back by Labor Day. If we end up sticking around any longer, we can dial her up and pull a mind trick on her."

"Oh, good." huffed Andy. "More mind control."

"You don't have to like it." Aqua facepalmed. "It's only to get around their worrying hearts and calm themselves back to normal."

"Yeah, Yeah, Yeah..." Andy slumped back into his seat. "Just tell me when we land, okay?"

Aqua glared back to the boy with relief.

-ILP-

Deep within Aqua's subspace pocket, Woody tapped his boots to the luggage case he laid upon, irritated that Aqua and Terra resorted to pocketing him and the rest of Andy's toys just so they could follow Andy and crew to Japan. Regardless, he still stood to pick up the microphone and make his speech.

"I am so sorry that you all had to be dragged into this mess." Woody spoke towards his colleagues, "But those who are aware of just how broken this tree of ours know that variants can and will happen, this is just one of those minor shake-ups."

"Minor shake-up?!" Mister Potato Head spat against the sheriff. "One year into the Loop and already we're being thrown off course by your kind going to cowboy camp with little miss 'My presence is impossible at this point in the Baseline'!"

"Calm down, alright." Woody hushed the spud. "At least there are elder Loopers on Andy's end to ease him in."

"Yeah, with overblown door-keys." Potato-Head Huffed.

"And Jedi mind tricks to get around the troubles he might end up facing." clarified Woody. "Come on, what's the modus opperandi around these parts."

"To be there for Andy when he needs us." The other toys sighed.

"Exactly!" Woody bounced to lower ground with a smile. "Just roll with the punches and we can figure out the Loop and what it's meant for."

-ILP-

The plane soon landed after a beautiful birds-eye view of the Japanese skyline and the group of foreigners arrived at the airport where they were met with a humble vallet willing to drive the group through Japan to seek out a proper place for the seven Americans.

"We are honored to have international guests such as yourselves here in the Inaba prefecture." Their escort smiled from the driver's seat. "While we were unable to secure the intended cargo of Woody's Roundup merchandise for the 50s Wing, our CEO showed interest in what he got in its stead so by all means, do pick out a place to stay for the duration of your visit to the country."

Jennifer glanced through the windows to see the houses that were available. "Do you think we can fit within a particular price range?"

'Ty' was also interested in house hunting though his method was different, sending pings to any Loopers that might have been fused in along with them. And sure enough, he got a ping back and promptly pointed the group in its direction. "Do you think we can room in an already preoccupied residence?"

"A resourceful idea, Tyler-san." the vallet complimented the man. "-- I cannot wait until the tour tommorrow."

"Same here." smiled 'Amy' as she recieved a ringing sound coming from a nearby home. "Because I think we've just found our new home."

-ILP-

Ryotaro was loving this Loop for the reason you'd expect him to, he woke up before the death of his wife, Yu and Yosuke look adorable as children and Izanami was far from active for the time being. Nothing could get in the way at this point in their lives... despite a recently Awakened Chie's best efforts to the contrary.

"Come on, Chie, I just wanted to gush about how hecking cute you are as a little girl..." squawked Yosuke.

"Oh, sure. Go ahead and coo at me, why doncha?" glared Chie with a raging fury of your typical Tsundere. "And while you're at it, why not compliment the dress my parents forced onto me for going here!?"

"Well, the pink's not beary complimentary to your attitude." the fun-sized Teddie pointed out in a matter-of-fact sort of speaking. "Maybe a warmer color could be best."

"Did I ask you for fashion advice!" Chie barked with rage before halting at the familiar sound of the ping. "Loopers? Here?"

"Would appear so..." sighed Yu as he stood up and sent a ping back before glancing to his caretaker for the timebeing: "Dojima-san."

"I heard." peeped Ryotaro from behind a creeked open door. "I'll go greet the newcomers." He then waltzed his way to the front door with a kiss for Chisato lying in wait only to find her opening the door for the guests.

"Hi, I heard there were like-minded people here." the American-looking figure smiled to her patron. "Do you have a place for us to stay for the foreseeable future?"

"We have a spare room for you." smiled Chisato. "The kids could room with Yu and Nanako if they like."

"We'd be honored, milady!" Bonnie smiled back as she marched to the japanese children. "I take it you are wide Awake, good sir."

Ping.

"I've been thrown for a Loop myself."

Ping.

"So if you're eager to go Loop-dee-Loop for the Loop in question,"

Ping. Ping. Ping.

"Alright, I'll let you into my room!" complained Yu as he opened the door.

"YAY!" Bonnie cheered as she dashed inside to Yu's reluctance.

-ILP-

The Inaba youngsters faced the little Americans with intrigue, and yet still discomfort. "I hear you're training in the Keyblade's power?"

"Not yet." Blushed Bonnie with a smile. "But so long as I practice my force power, I can have a chance at being a keyslinging kid alongside Terra and Aqua!"

"The Force?" Yu glared back. "As in a certain Galaxy Far, Far Away?"

"A loyal fan, are you? Hmm..." Yoda glanced to the white-haired boy, surprising him to no end. "Yes, the rumors are true. The Toy Story Loops, you and your Ilk now find yourselves in."

"I can see that, ya plush puppet!" glanced Yosuke.

"How are you even using the Force?" pondered Chie. "You'd have to be in Yoda's home branch to end up just as force-sensitive as you, Yoda."

"That's right..." added Yu. "...and as far as I can tell, that isn't the case this Loop."

"In a cloudy pattern, this Loop is." Yoda sighed as he walked with cane in hand. "The only Branches fused for the Loop, the ones we know might not be."

"So it's gonna be a Cluster Loop." sighed Yosuke. "Makes sense with the rumors brewing in the community recently."

"The one with the olympic championship?" Teddie added "Let's hope things don't get too big for us to bear down here."

"Let's hope so..." Yu leaned back with a finger to his chin before adding: "So how long have you been Loopin'..."

"I just started last year!" peeped Bonnie. "And Andy's not even Looping yet."

"Really?" Yosuke eyed to the child. "I guess that makes you Yggdrasil's new fuckboy."

"Watch your language, young man!" Jen butted in with a spark in her eyes.

"Okay, Okay, I'll keep my peeper shut..." mumbled Yosuke to Jennifer's ire, watching the boy interacting with her boy as she closed the door. "Yeesh, is she one of those single parents."

"...yeah." Andy sighed. "We don't talk much about him."

Yu just looks to his non-looping friend and sighed: "You're lucky."

Toys in the Hood (Chapter 8)

That night, the children had tucked themselves in for tomorrow's tour.

"Yu, are you awake?" Andy said, restless from a burning question on his mind.

"And feeling Loopy." Yu answered. "You've got something to get off your chest?"

"What did you mean by me being lucky?" Andy glanced to the boy. "What's with your mom and dad?"

"Katchum Glitch." Yu leaned back up before looking to the boy with an LED lamp aimed at a book. "This is a comprehensive list of every branch that has activated in order."

"Number One, Ranma 1/2. Number Two, Harry Potter. Number Three, Naruto?" Andy raised an eye at this list, "These are anime..."

"Yeah... most of the original seven turned up as Anime." Yu replied to the boy, "Marvel and DC follow suit."

"Ten, Thomas the Tank Engine. Eleven, Mass Effect. Twelve, Mario. Fourteen, Star Wa-." Andy halted in his words and looked to Yu and asked. "Where's Thirteen? What happened?"

"Mega Man's Baseline-to-Variant ratio happened." Yu deadpanned before glancing to a Famicom cartridge. "Videogame Franchise, Branch 108 after a long wait and a tedious process of troubleshooting. One of the final desperate measures included Branch Thirteen, it did not end well."

"It got destroyed?" Andy's eyes widened. "Can that happen to any other-."

"Nah. Not in the way that branch fell..." Yu halted. "It was negated on a conceptual level, and the damage echoed through Yggdrasil. The Kachum Glitch being a major blow, distinctive features of any particular familial unit? Wiped out, Just ask Ash Kachum."

"The Pokemon Trainer?" Andy peeped.

Yu nodded back. "His mother couldn't recall the face and voice of her husband, that was the first reported instance of that glitch, hence the term 'Kachum Glitch' in the Looping Lexicon."

Andy winced, slumping back into his bed. "Did that happen to your parents?"

"Yep." Yu mumbled back. "Do you even remember yours?"

"Mom's still around." Andy smiled, "Dad left us a long while back."

"But can you remember any feature of him?" Yu asked, looking as Andy thought to himself and his face began to be wreathed in woe.

That was the day Andy realized the horror of the Kachum Glitch.

-ILP-

Everyone got up bright and early the subsequent morning for the tour through the Konishi Toy Museum to oggle away at the Toys they can never touch. From Barbie Dolls to GI Joes, Toa to Transformers, complete sets of Toy lines old and new adorned its thirteen floors.

"Wow!" Andy looked in awe at the display for a video game franchise's merch. "They have keyblades like you!"

Terra and Aqua glanced to the display to find a few familiar faces. "Well, I'll be fragged." Exclaimed Terra. "He did made it through after all!"

There was Sora with Riku, Kairi, Namine, Lea, Roxas and Xion as a Sentai-like line of action figures. Bonnie looked in awe, having heard stories of their adventures from Aqua during the airplane ride. "Think we should go and ping them?"

"I'm not sure..." eyed Aqua. "Depends on whether they're Awake or not."

"Isn't it kinda the point?" probed Bonnie.

"Well, knowing Sora, he'd likely ping first." Aqua pointed out to the children.

Ping.

"Case and Point."

Moving on from the toy Anchor from another world as it was much too crowded for him to directly communicate with them, the children walked towards their familiar-looking guide. "Good Morning, Younglings."

"Hey! I remember you!" Exclaimed Bonnie. "You're the guy that drove us around Inaba for house hunting!"

"You have a good eye." mentioned the fella in a tux. "My name is Yuteru Shigata, VP of International Relations. My job is to ensure that our reputation overseas are as ship-shape as it is back home, making it all the easier to reach out to all the Mattels and Hasbros of the world."

"So you're gonna be our guide for the whole day?" Andy tilted his head slightly by. "Well, it's nice t'meet ya, sheriff!"

"When do we meet the president, Shigata-Sama?" Bonnie eagerly asked, Shigata blushing at the term 'Shigata-sama'

"Erm, let's just focus on keeping this crowd of kids moving, okay?" Iwata dodged, pointing to the emotionless children among them.

"I don't think they even feel like movin'..." Bonnie glanced with concern.

"Come now, they all want the special surprise gift that the tour offers, don't they?" Shigata smiled as he hurried them to the next stop of the tour, Terra and Aqua staying up in the Lobby as Shigata glared with a wistful worry in his eyes. "Do stay safe."

-ILP-

Bonnie and Andy were relatively creeped out by the dark room they walked through and the creepy violin music conveying the ever-so bleak atmosphere of the real world at large.

"Easy." Bonnie's gaze focused onto Andy, leaning onto him with a smile. "I'll protect ya. I am, after all, a full Looper."

Andy smiled back as a sort of mist gassed up the room. A giant holographic projection of another suit-wearing gentleman smiling back at the children. "Konichiwa, Hola, Ni-hao and Hello, good little boys and girls. Welcome, one and all, to my museum of joy and imagination for all ages involved." Bonnie sensed something screwy in the air, broken dreams and negative thoughts condensing into a singular mass for each child that wasn't herself and Andy. "I do hope your stay within these halls are as inviting as they are inspiring. It is our mission to recapture the mystic power of the human spirit, one that surrounds and penitrates the young and young at heart. That is what we here at Konishi aim to restore this magic to the rest of the universe... no matter the cost."

Bonnie winced in shock of what she saw behind her, a black egg floated above every child with a white X in front of it, their flesh slowly turned into this inky tar-like sludge as their clothes re-arranged into a sort-of costume with the only unifying mark being a red outline of a heart with an X in front of it. Andy was next to turn around and could only watch as the eggs above the zombified children's heads exploded into that same ebony sludge before reshaping itself into a humanoid form familiar to those who fought this type of creature.

"Heartless, Here!?" Yoda's eyes widened with shock before refocusing on the children that remained human, leaping out with lightsaber in hand. "Go to Terra and Aqua! Hold off the dark creatures, I shall."

Bonnie nodded, then took Andy's hand as the two children ran off to get their Looping elders.

-ILP-

Terra and Aqua patiently sat by the balcony, waiting for the children to return when all of a sudden, the man spotted one of them zooming by towards a nearby car. "Heartless!"

"And they're causing chaos on the road!" Aqua added. "We need to help them!"

"Aqua, stop!" Terra halted before pointing to the car. "Jen and the Dojimas are in there!"

"Guess we need that armor a lot more than we thought." Aqua lamented as she pulled her elbowpads from her pocket and angled to activate the rest of the suit before-

"Holy Crown!" A golden cushion manifested to cushion the car as weightlessly as possible, Chisato pushing the brakes as hard as she could before impact with the warm, honey-like mass.

"What the-?" Jennifer looked to the substance that enveloped the car, touching it to realize that it felt lighter than the wind. "What even is this stuff, Some Japanese Jell-O?"

Twas there that a pink-haired girl of around Andy's age zoomed by on what appeared to be winged rollerskates to face off against the Heartless as it drove away from the group. "So it's a fused Loop, huh? That explains the early awakening."

'Amu-chan! It's gaining on us!' yelped the voice that rung in her head.

"Already on it, Ran." Amu shifted her wardrobe from a pink midriff to a green maid outfit, "Charanari: Amulet Clover!"

She slowed to a sprint before pulling out a whisk to lather the road with a sticky syrupy substance. "Remake Honey!"

The dark creature felt its wheels get coated with this magical maple pulp and slowed to a crawl as its sticky situation worsened ever-so bluntly.

"Now, let's wrap this up!" Amu turned to face the creature. "Negative Heart, Lock-On!"

Terra and Aqua looked onward with appreciation and gratitude before looking to each other with facination. "Let's get to the kids, She's got us covered for now."

"Right." Terra nodded as he made his way to the kids and their Jedi Teacher.

-ILP-

No matter how swift Yoda could cut down the Heartless hordes, they could always respawn somewhere else in the room and the children would have to hide away as swiftly as they could. "It's no use!" Cried Andy "You need a Keyblade!"

"Mind not my equipment." reassured Yoda. "Escape while it is still possible, you must!"

Bonnie slipped back with worry. "Please don't break, master."

Yoda narrowed his sight to the children with a slight smirk before turning to face the hordes of dark creatures head on when, out of the blue:

"Masterpiece Impact!" A forward thrust peirced the Air Soldier right through the breast before it twisted with a radiant glow with the words "OPEN HEART!" The Heartless glowed a shimmering golden shine before bursting into stardust, releasing the lost heart into the aether. Amu stepped towards the two children with her brown boots and blue striped stockings and glanced to Bonnie and Andy with a smile. "What's a couple Gaijin doing out here?"

"Hiding!" Andy rushed out the door to completely pass by Terra and Aqua who were rushing in with Keyblades in hand. "Bonnie, follow me!"

"Andy, don't ya wanna see if they can beat down the monsters together?!" Bonnie pleaded from behind the desk.

Terra glanced to Andy as he clung to the rails of the hallway. "Well?"

"I'll be fine watching from here if that's what you want..." Andy yelped from the echoing hallways. "If anything, I'd be concerned about the mist that's pouring in."

Amu looked down to find that the fog machines, sensing a strange aura from the mist before shifting into her last resort: "Character Transformation: Amulet Diamond!" Her intelligent Device was traded out from a blue shaft to a golden glave that transformed into a boomerang before Amu swung it about with a yell of: "Boomerang Sweep" Heartless were cut to ribbons and hearts were released as Terra and Aqua swooped in with their respective command styles!

"Say Goodbye!" Terra drew stone boulders from nothing to smash in Heartless Skulls and crush the dark ones flat into oblivion. "I think that's the last of them!"

"Really?" Panted Amu. "That's a... relief..." slowly she drifted into a sort of slumber, demorphing from her enhanced state in the process before falling from the sky.

"I've got ya!" Teddie rushes over to clutch onto the pinkette as she descends. "We hafta get outta here!"

The children scrambled in a rush to get out while the masters came following after, eager to escape the Museum and the mist as soon as they could.

[Toy Story]x[Kingdom Hearts]x[Star Wars]x[Persona 4]x[Shugo Chara]
Toys in the Hood (Chapter 10)

"Hey. Can you hear me?"

Amu struggled to open her eyes as she focused onto the face that was looking upon her as he comforted her back into health. "ugh... wh-wha..."

"Don't try to move." Yu kneeled to calm down the Anchor of the Guardian Character Loops. "You took a spill after saving my aunt Chisato, sweeping out the Heartless in the Museum. After that, my friend Teddie came over to carry you into the car and... well, here we are."

Amu glanced to the fellow in the bear suit as he scratched the back of his head with a smile. "Glad I could help!"

"And my Charas?" Amu asked.

"There're right inside my pouch!" confirmed Teddie. "I'll admit, they're making me a bit sweaty or maybe it's just my human body kicking in for the Loop."

Amu could only cringe at the thought, having witnessed such a proverbial 'birth' once or twice in the Loops that she shared with Yu and his crew. Chie leaned to the pink-haired Joker that Anchored a Branch of Would-Be Selves and said: "So, you heard of a Cluster Loop?"

"A mass fused Loop?" Amu guessed "Like with Smash?"

"Yeah! We've just lived through a Loop like that." Chie recalled. "We crossed through not just Remnant, but the Hollow Night and Librarium Loops as well."

"The Loop crashed when we found the likes of Ragna and Ruby turning up in our freaking class." Yosuke complained. "I still can't get over how freaky it was that this was where I begged for Eiken! At least that branch was relatively slow compared to our branch."

"I'll admit, this variant does beat the pants off the Dancing Expansion." Yu remarked to his pack.

"Ugh... It's so hooooot. I gotta use the bathroom to change out of the suit!" yelped Teddie before he emitted the sound of four eight-year-old girls screaming in unison, prompting the Bear-Suited mascot to cover his mouth as he scrambled out of the room. "Excuse me!"

Watching as Teddie opened and slammed the living room door, Amu slowly considered what was going on within the Inaba Native's costume and realized a horrifyingly disgusting thing that was occurring inside: "No way!"

-ILP-

"WHAT! THE BARK! IS GOING ON HERE!" Jennifer confronted the two with blatantly justified rage. "I find myself cushioned by light, then I have to help Chisato pick up a pink-haired stranger, and now I hear all this talk about a computer-tree being broken?"

"Well, considering all the inexplicable things that are going on around here, you couldn't exactly chalk it up to Japan's cultural differences now, could you?" 'Amy' rightfully explained to the mother of two children. "There's a specific quirk in this particular Branch that's resulted in your branch being a bit more accessable to the Admins-"

"I don't care about quirks or keyboards." huffed Jennifer to the two masters. "All I want is for my children to come out of this disaster trip okay!"

"Erm... Excuse me?" peeped Teddie from just by the conversation. "I kinda need to change out of this stuffy old suit of mine." a different voice escaped Teddie's breath. "Speak for yourself, I'm sweating up a storm in here!" another voice soon followed. "Not to mention how cramped this shell's getting!" Teddie's fists curled up and pressed against his eyes as the next alternative voice cried: "WE CAN'T FLY~DESU!!"

"Calm down, I can help you out of this getup no problems attached." smiled Jennifer as she walked to Teddie's Zipper and began to tug.

Teddie showed concern as Jennifer unzipped the costume. "Uh, I don't think it's Bear-y wise since the lot of us are kinda like newborns at the moment."

"Oh, come on, now... there's nothing to feAAAAGHGHHHH!!!" Jennifer screeched at the naked eight-year-old girls that 'accompanied' Teddie. "You know what, just change into some actual clothes and maybe I can forget this mess ever happened, just don't ever let me see you pulling this stunt again!"

"Scout's honor!" chimed Teddie as he marched into the bathroom with the girls in tow. Jennifer could do little more than cringe at the two loopers with one question on her mind.

"I take it this is a common occurrence in your native branch?"

-ILP-

"Only in variants where it's feasibly possible." Amu mentioned to her fellow Loopers. "A wish that doesn't implant memories in loved ones, 'Dreams' that do. Or in this case, erm..."

"Midichlorians: microscopic organisms within all organic beings of our home branch." Yoda clarified. "Continually tell us the will of the Force, this powerful symbiote does to all attached."

"So does that explain how we ended up like this?" Ran complained as her newly-human blood was drawn for analysis.

"A powerful mist, Konishi has developed." Yoda remarked. "A count of 18,000 in your chara's Blood, I sense. Has the potential to rival my own and even trail our resident Anchor, your sensitivity to the Force does."

"But how is it even possible that the Force is even a thing down here!?" rebutted Ran as she pointed to down onto the floor and up through the window. "We're down here and the galaxy with the Jedi and the TiE Fighters are out there, Far Far Away as the movies put it."

"Clouded, the branch's composition is." Yoda glanced as he got up and walked towards the American children. "Within this fused Loop Yggdrasil has cast us into: Unknown factors at play, there are. It is as if Yggdrasil wants you Looping as soon as possible."

"Well, it's already got me." Bonnie smiled.

"Yes. That this is the case, your midichlorian count shows." Yoda remarked to the little girl. "Which leaves but one other:"

Andy meekly sighed "Me?"

Yoda merely nodded. "Destined by baseline to appear overseas, You were not. The Loops and their varients: caused such a shift, they have, through the Loopers caught within its cluster."

"Mom's had a fit with the older Loopers earlier today." Andy glumly stated. "She's pretty mad at them."

"Makes sense." Yu retorted from the sidelines. "Considering that this was her introduction to the multiverse, I'm not shocked that he'd take it pretty hard. Least she doesn't know about her home branch's... Quirk."

Andy glanced back to Yoda who was meditating on the logic of Yggdrasil. "They will reveal themselves to you in due time, when a suitable opportunity arises. Get some rest, you children must. For tomorrow is a new dawn."

Everyone nodded and made their way to the bed, leaving Bonnie's satchel on the floor for a group of seven action figures to scramble out of the bag to send out a Ping to the other toys in the room. One that would be answered by a plush onlooker and a more American-crafted action figure.

[edit] Chapter 11

[Toy Story]x[Kingdom Hearts]x[Star Wars]x[Persona 4]x[Shugo Chara]
Toys in the Hood (Chapter 11)

"Sora!" Woody exclaimed. "Didn't expect the expansion to hit so soon?"

"I don't think this is an expansion..." Sora shrugged. "I think I'm just a regular toy for a Sentai show this Loop."

"Hey, not to butt in or anything?" Lea Interrupted. "But did you notice that Yoda was there, too? Talking with the kids as a freakin' plushie?"

"I understand that it is a bit disorienting, and Andy doesn't exactly know the full context of how yet." Buzz silently reminded the keykids. "So it's business as usual, back to your places when human presence is imminent and stay still until all human contact has vacated the room."

"We should be safe with the kids being fast asleep." hushed Woody. "Just tell us the plan as quietly as you can and we'll see if you can execute the plan by the morning."

"The Midnight Channel's likely a thing with Yu and the others being active Loopers here." Kairi mentioned. "Maybe we could take a shortcut through there? We're pretty small enough to phase through most TV screens, so It's more than possible we could navigate our way to the Konishi Museum."

"You mean to tell me you're gonna shove us through solid glass?" Mr. Potato Head protested. "It's television, not telephone."

"If it's atomic scrambling's what you're worried about, we could always go in there." Roxas pointed to the vacant bear-suit Teddie had placed in the hamper earlier that night. "Question is, how do we animate this one."

Xion merely rolled up her plastic sleeves with a smile, "I've spent a Loop in place of one of the original seven, so I think I know enough levitation-locomotion spells to get us where we have to go."

-ILP-

Scuttling in a wobbly sprint, the mascot suit escorted the party of Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Etch, Rex and the Museum toys Sora, Riku, Kairi, Namine, Lea, Roxas and Xion over to the closed department storefront of Junes where they met their destination as they broadcasted the Midnight Channel for all to phase through via Teddie's soft and huggable costume. The head popped off as it hit the floor, allowing for the toys to exit the costume one by one.

"So this is the Midnight Channel." Woody glared with awe at the cameras. "Avoid the cameras and keep an eye on the clocks."

"Sounds like a good idea." Roxas remarked before tossing his keyblade into the air to manifest a human-scale Keyblade glider to the sheer awe of all natives to the Branch of Toys. "You getting on or what?"

"Sky-surfing!" exclaimed Rex as the others followed him on. "What a way to travel!"

Roxas and Xion clung to each side of the glider, tilting to and fro to turn it for navigational purposes all whilst watching the clocks roll on by. Within an hour or two, they found themselves at the TV display for 'Kokoro no ōkoku Pydain' The very anime and videogame franchise on which the toy line was based. "And here's our stop."

"Steamroll the cactus and cobble the coattails, we've made it to Tokyo again and it's only two twenty-two in the morn'!" exclaimed Jessie as the keykids made their way through the static of the screen. "How is it even possible?"

"Well, the structural pathways of the Midnight Channel seem to be similar to the real world we call home." Buzz Lightyear pondered. "We only have half an hour to navigate, then it's back to the Dojima resistance pronto!"

"Wait!" Sora stepped forward with a big pamphlet for tourists to give to the cowboy doll. "This contains a map of all thirteen floors of the Museum, even the IHOP next door to Konishi's penthouse office."

"Konishi has a penthouse office?" Woody reacted with surprise. "Guess that's where we need to go."

-ILP-

Staying behind in their little corner of the museum mirroring the Gigigas brand's presence, Sora and his friends wished Andy's toys well on their journey as they went into the airvents to find this Konishi fellow with a Star Shard from Sora's pocket made to channel them all back to Andy and the rest of the human Loopers.

"Good luck, you guys. We'll keep an eye out if any Heartless scale down to our level!" smiled Sora before glancing to Riku, watching with concern. "There something bothering you... about the Midnight Channel?"

"I saw a stone slab at the channel's side of the gate." Riku worried to his friend. "It had a little girl pushing out of it, as if it was trapped."

"Frozen Carbonite?" Sora guessed, to which Riku solumnly nodded. "If that's the case, then Konishi's probably up to no good."

Riku eyed Sora with an added resolve. "You think he's responsible for the Heartless swarms?"

"Can't say that he doesn't." sighed Sora with a hint of worry to his voice. "Either way, best to keep our eyes out, right?"

Riku merely assumed his usual pose from when they set him up with his friends, saying little more than the phrase: "Fair Enough."

-ILP-

Crawling through the ventways and riding on an elevator shaft, Woody led the way upwards towards the thirteenth floor where Konishi's office was perched. "Almost there..."

"The suspense is eating away at my temperament!" Rex fearfully stressed as they ascended to the vent leading to the thirteenth floor. "I can see the open vent!"

"Then jump for it!" Buzz led the initial charge against the opening with Woody and Jessie carrying Etch all the way in with a quick sprint before making the great leap into the port hole with a big crash. After a brief checkup to see if Etch was damaged, the toys marched onward through the vent to navigate their way to Konishi's office. "How much farther?" The space ranger asked.

"Just keep an ear out for voices." Woody exclaimed as they walked through the vents, navigating with an estimate based on the map Sora's given them until: "Hear that?"

The toys put an ear to the wall at the sound of a masculine voice detailing a master plan. "With the zombified brats under the thumb of Easter, they will more than likely have X-Eggs in their hearts that render them suspect to the corruption."

"No matter," Spoke Konishi to an investor, unaware of the Toys that were watching them. "We have sighted a few clean Character Eggs, one from a young girl's heart as our espers have told us."

The investor raised his eye. "Do you think they were effected?"

"Likely." Konishi pressed his curled fingers to his chin. "There were enough Midichlorians in that septic tank to impregnate an elephant. If anything, the Charas could mutate into full-blooded organic beings."

Another Investor leaned in his chair. "You think we can give biological analysis on the guests in their chosen home?"

"...Perhaps." Konishi let out a sigh as he adjusted his glasses. "Either way, we find ourselves in the presence of the Planet Earth's first Jedi Masters. Best to keep your eyes peeled, colleagues."

"Station." the gruff investor grunted to the cunning CEO of the conglomerate. Woody swallowed his breath and scurried away with the other toys in tow, causing the vents to rock a little bit and make a creeking sound that gained Konishi's attention. "Strange, we don't have any uninvited guests, do we?"

"Doubtful." Konishi rebutted. "It came from the vents so they wouldn't have fled far, it's quite difficult to fit inside one of them as you can probably tell..."

"I hope for your sake that those doubts are justified." glared the masked investor, pointing with a hand clothed in a golden gauntlet, before leaving his seat and exiting the office with the other investors. Konishi could do little more than take a sip of his wine as the fleeing toys made it to the vent hole to the elevator shaft.

"We've got to warn Andy and the rest of the Loopers." Woody worried. "Etch, write out a Map to Junes and show them everything we know once they get there."

Etch complied and completed the roadmap to the department store right as Woody and Buzz pulled out the Star Shard to get home again in a splash of light, zigging and zagging its way to the Dojima residence before the clock struck five.

Toys in the Hood (Chapter 12)

Morning came and Yu snuck into the guest room to check in on Bonnie and Andy... only to find the bunk bed empty save for a lone Etch-A-Sketch. He rushed to the living room to find the kids eating their cereal as the TV showcased the very show that Sora and friends were archived into for the Loop. "Guys, Did you draw this?"

"Draw what?" eyed Andy.

"This map of the Midnight Channel!" Yu asserted. "Did any of you draw it?"

"What's a Midnight Channel?" Bonnie glared to the silver-haired boy.

"Ugh..." Yu then looked to Teddie "You can show them around the Midnight Channel at this time of dawn, right."

"I've got enough Loops in me to earn a strong-enough Soul to do that so, yeah." Teddie nodded.

"You sure?" questioned Yu.

Teddie smiled. "Leave it to me, boss!"

"Okay, then..." Yu sighed and slumped into his chair. "So, Andy. You wanted to see the big gimmick of our native Branch?"

-ILP-

Jennifer halted the car at the red light and looked both ways, a bit disoriented from the horizontal switch-up in the driver's seat but still more-or-less taking to the road just as easily as she did in the states. "And I ask if there's anything you feel the need to get from Junes."

"Imma touch some Spaghet!" Bonnie chimed with a blissful smile.

"I could take Andy for a stroll through the toy isle," Teddie grinned. "Does that sound like fun, Andy?"

"Yep-Yep-Yep!" Andy chimed.

Jennifer gave a warm smile to her son before focusing her scowl to Teddie. "Just don't ask to share changing rooms and be back at the TV Isle to talk about what we can afford as Souvenirs."

"Yes!" Andy pumped his fist with satisfaction.

"Can I pick out a video game for my souvenir?" Bonnie asked.

"Well, If you insist." Jennifer sighed before clarified: "Region-Free Consoles only, so no Gamecube."

Bonnie frowned her familiar grumpy face before Andy popped a question to change the subject. "Mom... what was dad like?"

Jennifer showed little emotion. "A man who thinks he's the smartest man in the room but the way he treated me and this household proves that every genius is an idiot."

"Genius?" Andy tilted his head. "Is he super smart?"

"For a deadbeat, yeah..." Jennifer irritably spat. "But it won't exactly be long til he's buried at the back of your head for good."

Andy merely peeped: "I just wanted to know what he looked li-"

"I could turn this car around if you like." Jennifer glared to her son with strict resolve.

Once they arrived and everyone has picked out their souvenirs, everybody gathered around the wall of TVs where there was a news report of a group of masked heroes helping a tanned blonde muscular man pull a school bus out of a burning building that seemed to be covered in these light-blue flames that seemed to emit streaks of ones and zeroes interspersed with streams of Greek letters.

"Great, another day, Another news story about quantum storms and crackpot theories to keep your father in the limelight." Jennifer scoffed with contempt for the man she sought to avoid.

"Wow, Are those real Superheroes?!" Andy's eyes widened at the sight of the saviors.

"Huh... Guess this is a country rich in quirks..." glared Jennifer. "Then again, the suits of armor do mean that the ones with tall, broad and patriotic here are tech-centric."

"Like the Power Rangers?" asked Andy.

"Yes, Andy." Jennifer brushed his hair. "But let's not focus on the hero scene, there's a channel we need to find."

"Right!" Yu pulled a remote, flipped through channels, networks and TV commercials.

"Welcome to Al's Toy Barn..." Al's glum face showed all that they needed to know of the man's situation. "We've got the lowest prices in town, everything for a buck-buck-buck..."

As she watched the grown man bawl his shallow little heart out, Jennifer handed the remote to Teddie. "Avoid this commercial, Teddie, and we'll be on good terms."

"Sounds Bear-y Nice to me!"

Yu and Teddie were first to pass through the screen, then Andy and Bonnie walked along with them with Chie dragging Yosuke by the ear. "Owie, do ya hafta pull like that?" complained Yosuke.

"Alright, we're all here and Jennifer's off with Terra and Aqua." recapped Chie to the other five. "So now what do we do?"

"We split up." Yu

[Toy Story]x[Kingdom Hearts]x[Star Wars]x[Persona 4]x[Shugo Chara]
Toys in the Hood (Chapter 13)

Bonnie, Andy and Teddie ran as fast as their prepubescent legs could carry them. Never halting until they saw the carbonite block where their path would cross with Yu and his companions.

"There! I see it!" Andy pointed out to his two allies as they began to slow down enough to see the entrance into the multi-screen system linking to the Konishi Museum. "We've made it to the museum!"

"Not yet, you haven't." Teddie turned around to face his two proverbial juniors. "We still gotta wait until Sempai arrives with the map." No sooner than when he made the comment that Yu and his cohorts made their way to the other trio. "Hey, boss! We're here!"

"Good." Yu spoke as he halted his sprint with Yosuke in tow. "And I take it this is right in front of the museum?"

"Okay, lemme check..." Teddie peeked his head through the screen to find the main lobby of the museum in all its majesty. "Right on target! So you've got a plan handy for today?"

Yu nodded to the other five: "Andy and Bonnie will navigate the Galaxy Toys outlet, Me and my friends will venture through the Midnight Channel to fend off the Heartless... If they show up, I mean."

"What about Mom?" asked Andy.

"Terra and Aqua, too." added Bonnie.

Yu adjusted his eyes before answering: "They're taking their opinions to the culprit."

-ILP-

The two youths bowed to Jennifer as they stepped after the vehicle as 'Amy' blushed: "Thank you for your service and your cooperation."

"Don't mention it." Jennifer smiled back to her junior. "Just be back safely and we can figure out how we're gonna cope with this condition."

"Roger that, Mrs. Davis..." responded 'Tyler' "May your heart be your guiding key." And with that, the two made their way towards the door and began their infiltration of the Museum. Navigating the floors, sneaking past guards if not evading or even pacifying them, all while radioing Yu and his group to keep them updated on the situation. "We're halfway up the museum, Yu. Any idea on where to go next?"

"I'd start where the midichlorian gas was sprayed, but they may have scrubbed the place clean of any evidence by now." Yu lamented before pitching. "Check the data files in Konishi-san's office to see if there's any pre-meditation."

"Aye-Aye!" Terra parted before speaking to Aqua: "We're headed to the top." And thus, they went to the top to sneak inside of the office of Hakami Konishi in all its glass glory. Glancing at their surroundings with intrigue, Terra and Aqua searched Konishi's desk for any connection to the midichlorian leak and subsequent Heartless Infestation that Konishi may have. One cabinet the history of the Konishi clan being the helmsmen of the company for three generations, another had plans for a new location in Taiwan, a brief history of cheese, all worthless towards their investigation until they came across a folder in the N-X section. "'New Results in Midichlorian Bath testing'..."

Aqua opened the folder and read the report in Terra's hands. "Midichorian scan notes indicate that four lifeforms have begun incubating within the eggs that were swallowed by the mascot costume of a passer-by, most X-Egg corrupted life forms mutated into Emblem Heartless. Unknown results in a pair of untouched children from America." Aqua's eyes grew more worried for the children when she flipped to an earlier report in April of that year. "Terra, It wasn't just yesterday. He's been experimenting on Midichlorians since-"

"1993." A third voice was heard from near the two, they soon glanced behind them to find Hakami himself in his dignified suit and fowl grimace as his guards brought in a viewscreen of the Dojima residence where both Dojimas and Hinamoris alike were being held by a group of heavily armed guards with the former Charas taking physical examinations during the ordeal. "I thought I smelled Jedi snooping about in my Museum, and of such a caliber seen only by Sora and his comrades to boot."

-ILP-

The children halted at a handmade Melee Arcade Machine and peeked through the other side to find that it led to the video game section of Galaxy Toys up to and including a wall of TV Sets for the gang to cross through.

"Ladies first," bowed Teddie to Chie as she took Bonnie by the hand and made her way up the cabinet with a footstool she pulled from her pocket.

"I thought we were going to the Toy Museum?" Bonnie pondered.

"It's close, right behind it, in fact." Chie recounted. "Plus there's the fact that we are literally walking through a screen into a toy store here in Japan."

"With toys ya can't find back in your eagle land!" Teddie beemed to his Looping junior.

"Wow! Really!" Andy's eyes widened with jubilation.

"Just don't go and shop until Terra and Aqua get to the bottom of this." reminded Yu with a sense of foreboding to his voice. "And be on the lookout for any customers that might see you phase through the screen."

"Okey-Doke!" saluted Bonnie as she pulled Andy up in her leap through the screen to the shock of the elder Loopers. "GERONIMO!"

"Wait!" Yelped Yu as a swarm of Shadow Heartless manifested from the shade that was being cast by the illumination of the screens. "Well, Looks like we've got company!"

Yosuke summoned the ethereal tarot card from the palm of his hand. "Lucky for us, this ain't no Null Loop."

-ILP-

Andy and Bonnie stumbled and rolled onto the floor, feeling the whiplash from the jump from the Melee cabinet as they struggled to stand up.

"Ugh..." Moaned Andy "And we didn't go through any of the screens because?"

"Don't look at me." shrugged Bonnie. "Teddie was the guy who showed me the screen."

Andy then mumbled: "Then remind me never to let him pick the portal again..."

"Duly noted," complained Bonnie. "My hiney hurts."

Staggering back up, Andy helped Bonnie up. "So now we gotta patrol the shop for the Heartless Guys, like we saw yesterday?"

Bonnie nodded before tilting her torso towards the passage. "Onward march! Boop! Boop! Buh-doop! Boop! Boop! Boop! Buh-doop!"

Walking through the hallways of the store with an eye open towards any enemy Heartless, Andy and Bonnie search the isles for danger with the former sighing: "Nobody seems to be here."

"Maybe it's closed for the night?" Bonnie proposed.

"In daylight?" Andy stressed as a rebuttal. "No way. There's gotta be something keeping everyone out."

"Who would keep the shop closed in the daytime?" no sooner than when Bonnie asked this question did the two children hear the movement of a plastic figure, her eyes tilted ever slightly to find a mecha toy had appeared outside of its apparent isle. (And in the Magical Girl section, no less...) "Maybe the people organizing the toys, maybe?" But then came another mecha toy, and another, and another. Needless to say, Bonnie did not like seeing those toys come to life in person as much as she did with Andy's toys.

-ILP-

Konishi walked the two keyblade masters along with a smug smirk on his face as a blonde girl with a prosthetic arm and leg walks over to set up the projector in his office so that it was hooked up to his laptop computer before turning on a rotating doorway to open up a walk-in closet of sorts with a capsule of a well-built woman with silver hair and pointed ears. "The No-Heart program has been built from the ground up as an autopsy division of the UN to dissect these dragon-like humanoids that have been found to have infested and infiltrated mankind since the Bolshevik Revolution of 1918. Many of these creatures were revealed by the green goddess incident of September 11th and subsequently hunted down or chased off to their stronghold in Cascade but not before chowing down on a few hundred humans within their proximity."

"Cascade..." Aqua skimmed through her history class memories and found further details. "The Capitol is Portland, Oregon. Is it not?"

"And was one of the first fractures from your homeland." peeped Konishi with a knowing tone to his voice, "It is still considered part of the greater United States by the United Nations' Open Globe initiative, using America and her children as the melting pot of cultures it has always been to invite aliens from other planets over to our big blue ball. That's how we found the planet Replicant, after all." his content-sounding voice gave way to lament as he clutched his wine. "Although very inviting to typical humans at first, but you soon see it for what it truly is when you see the true draconic nature of the home of this retched race. From open immigration of radical islam to demonic dragsters openly sexualizing human children to spouting insults to those who call them out by calling them facist or homophobic, Cascade is a celebration of the true hideous nature of mankind's natural predator."

"Then why can't we hunt them down?" Terra fumed to the businessman, knowing to dig up what Loop memories he had to add to his argument. "I understand the founding of Cascade was to keep them out of what little of America is left in exchange for their protection as a minority on earth, but can't we reason with the UN to fight against them."

Konishi shook his head. "They'd have to rise against humanity and break their promise in order to do so. But the No-Heart program was commissioned by the Japanese government to act as a fallback against these creatures, we have dissected the carcasses of these creatures and learned to create artificial humans with our experiments upon their remains, even recreating quirks."

Aqua's heart skipped a beat. "Quirks?"

"Yes, Quirks." Konishi began to speak with an added arrogance to his voice. "Just as some humans have quirks that make them special, so too do the branches of Yggdrasil as some cosmic immigrants have theorized. Quirks can be as mundane as a lone person, or as amazing as a mystical weapon such as your keyblade, as complex as an energy field that's being misgendered by identity politics or as simple as an alien world of sufficiently evolved animals. But all the same, these branches make up the greater whole of the world tree and might even hold the key to eternal life."

Terra glanced to Aqua with concern. "You don't think-" He was soon interrupted by an incoming guest who had hauled upon his back what appeared to be an arcade machine labeled 'Extend' on the front. Aged eighty-six with an apparent desire to go home, the lone notable characteristic of the elder was his ponytail.

"Well, Hakami, I made it." huffed the gruff-voiced man. "Despite my condition."

"Ah. Dupe Zero, Welcome." Konishi smugly smirked to his apparent elder. "I hope you're prepared for what is shaping up to be an unforgettable luncheon."

"Myeh..." the aged entity glanced to the clock with Terra and Aqua following suit to see that it was at 11:55am. "I take it you intend to flaunt me like a purse puppy?"

"But of course!" boasted Konishi "After all, you and your sister are the first in our efforts to replicate the oldest quirk in existence, Older than the oldest quirk in the known universe or so they say."

-ILP-

Janus was watching this Fused Loop with intrigue considering the amount of Branches connected to it, but then came a sight of shock on one of the display screens that showed what the Looper named Terra was seeing and what he was seeing was a pale imitation of one of the oldest Loopers in existence. "Impossible, how is this variant of a Japanese toy museum curator capable of recreating any sort of Looping Soul!?"

"What is going on here, Janus!" Nut trotted towards Janus' station in her cow form. "What's all this about a Looping Soul?"

Janus pointed to the screen representing Terra's Looping sight as Konishi gently tilts his wine glass with a slight twinge to his eye. "Tell me, Zero. What do you think is the temperature of this fine wine we had imported from Venezuela."

"Why must you ask me?" questioned the crone to the executive. "You've had it refrigerated in your private microkitchen so clearly you-"

"Ah-Ah-Ah." Halted Konishi. "The truth." The old man stood stoic and silent, earning a fierce glare from the businessman as he thought of a particular idea. "Why don't you take a feel for yourself?"

He flung the wine at the old man, Terra and Aqua watching as the aged man shifted appearance and felt the weight strain further on his... or rather her diminished muscle mass. Feeling her spine snap, the aged harridan spat: "It's as cold as your heart..." before collapsing under the weight of the machine, dying from her injuries and disintegrating from the sight of all who was observing him, including the two deities.

"First Andy, now this." Lamented Janus as he glanced to a progress bar that was at 7% completion.

-ILP-

"Unfortunately, the life cycle of the organic bodies these spirits inhabit are dreadfully short; A measly thirteen days for each cloned body." lamented Konishi as he dug through the deceased entity's clothes. "A crying shame since our cloning experiments have improved somewhat since we designed this particular method of cloning." He then picks out an X-shaped iron brooch of sorts from the clothes. "But with this key, the biological memories of these particular clones are stored in the most prestine condition that it can. Scientists from the No-Heart are still unsure if it can survive a complete timeline reset, My secretary here says that it likely won't since it isn't really the quirk in question, but with what we have in this piece of scientific progress, Shirobane technology is most certainly a start, wouldn't you agree."

"You're insane!" Terra barked towards Konishi who then looks to him in shock. "You think you can copy the Looping Soul like a file in a folder!"

"Oh, if we did, you would likely be sent off to our top scientists for dissection, and believe me when I say that they have long since given up on that dream." Konishi rightfully pointed out. "We're now more concerned with experimenting with the different ways we can use the remains left from our first intergalactic friend."

"Like we'll let you!" Terra brandishes his keyblade and charges forth at Konishi only to be met with the clash of: "A keyblade?!"

"Yes, a Keyblade. My Keyblade." Konishi was indeed brandishing a silver keyblade with a red eye at the hilt and another bridging together the teeth. "For I am not just the man behind the spraying of Midichlorians on Easter-Invited guests, I am also among its clients."

-ILP-

The Inaba detectives were fending off the heartless, Yosuke struggling with his acrobatic attacks with his smaller body and inevitably tripping up into a pratfall on the windup of his Moonsault.

"This shouldn't be this hard," Yosuke complained.

"Quit your whining." Chie blurted before making with her signature quick kicks, hopping forward on her free foot to make up for her shorter range. "Just get to carving up these bug-eyed freaks ASAP!"

"Okay! Okay!" Yosuke then twirled his twin daggers and charged at the Shadows with his usual reckless abandon.

"I'll cover you!" Yu brandished the most size-appropriate sword in his pocket and moved close to the more energetic of the four before glancing to Teddie to issue a command: "If there's something you want to send off to the other kids, do it now before they get too far."

"I've got a few things from their room I can send." Teddie interjected with his hand raised. "I have a beary good feeling that they'll reach them in time."

"Then do it!" Yu spoke. "Leave those things out the cabinet before we run out of time!"

Teddie moved to reach the cabinet in time as his human comrades held the line against the Heartless, It only took a minute or two for Teddie to find the distinguishable arcade machine in question and dig into his costume to pull out the contents of his costume, a cardboard box filled with toys, Andy's Toys. Giving a minor push onto the control table, Teddie leads the toys back out of the Midnight Channel. "Please be part of the fused Loop, Woody." he sheepishly peeped before returning to Yu's side before summoning Saturnus as Izanagi was already out in front for an offensive pushback maneuver. "Ready when you are, boss!"

-ILP-

Rex was first to pop out of the Box with Hamm's subsequent exit resulting in the box tipping over and falling to the ground to spill out the rest of the toys. Nonchalantly getting back up from such a fall not to have been felt until the baseline trip to Sunnyside, Woody adjusted his hat and looked to his group. "Everyone alright? Hamm, Rex, you alright up on the shelf?"

"This gonna take long?" questioned Hamm from the control table.

"Hopefully not." Buzz answered before glancing back the cowboy. "This is the same Galaxy Toys from the oncoming expansion for Kingdom Hearts, right?"

"Only one way to find out." Woody sighed before looking at the video game section he finds himself in. "Do you think we can get a map of the layout round here?"

-ILP-

Amu was leaning back in the passenger's seat of the car. "Thanks for picking us up, Mrs. Davis."

"No problem." Jennifer smiled back to the Joker. "Anything to help a friend of Andy's in this perticular time of need."

"Mrs. D?" asked Ran. "Can we get out now?"

"Not until the other grown-ups get out safely, they said they wouldn't be long." Jennifer eagerly tapped at her wheel as she waited for the two youths to emerge from the Museum in one piece only to hear an explosion come from the penthouse office as three shadows lept from the building and clung to the walls of a nearby building. She then began to drive swiftly towards the three shadows, giving chase with the Hinamoris in tow as her eyes focused on the clashing figures lining the sky.

"FIRAZA!" Roared a strong voice as the figure that owned it launched a powerful spell against Konishi which he had barely dodged as he watched the flaming fist graze the abandoned warehouse district before clashing onto the ocean. Jennifer knew when to stop and hit the brakes when she could get a clear look at the three figures: Twas Konishi himself brandishing a familiar weapon against 'Tyler' and 'Amy'.

"Damn..." Konishi brushed the embers off of his suit. "You've certainly got quite the magic, haven't you?"

"And it's just as hot as his head." joked 'Amy' as she backflipped on a metal bar by the building. "Don't worry, I know how to chill you out."

Konishi raised an eyebrow to the young woman. "Is that a fact?"

"Pretty much..." 'Amy' thrust her blue rod-like sword of pipes against Konishi as if to target him for a powerful blow, and sure enough, the man found himself incased in an ice cube and then sent flying to 'Tyler' "Batter up!"

"You're done!" 'Tyler' into the air and slammed his brown strombato-like blade down against Konishi to knock him towards the ocean only for Aqua to freeze his momentum cold so she could warp to and fro to cut at the frozen prison of Konishi in rapid succession before 'Tyler' began to wind up a swinging attack that was building up heavy winds: "THIS IS IT!" With one strong swing, 'Tyler' launched a strong blow against Konishi with a whirlwind spinning him like a record before slamming him against a wayward wall, releasing the man from his frigid prison.

"Such strength." Konishi staggered out of the resulting crater with blood, sweat and condensation. "Such is the power that surpasses any and all traditional legends of Jedi History." He slowly limped towards the two keyblade masters with a fire building in his eyes. "But there is more to Shigabane than just recording memories of each short life lived." Konishi pulled the x-shaped pin from his suit pocket. "It is theorized that the power of the clone can be used to augment the abilities of a natural human." He pulled his dress shirt up to reveal his slender core. "Let's put that theory to the test, shall we?"

"He wouldn't!" huffed 'Tyler' before seeing Konishi stick the pin in his exposed belly button and twisting it to its usual x-shape.

"He would." Aqua sighed with her hand rubbing against her forehead before Konishi engaged a firey pink aura barrier around him.

"Ya wanna get nuts, then fine!" snarled Konishi. "Let's get nuts!"

-ILP-

Running towards the voices of their patron children, Woody, Buzz and the rest of the Toys make their way to their proximity, making sure to hide when they can. They halted when they found the two children cornered at the exit by Gigas mechs.

"Andy!" Woody yelped.

"Great..." Potato-Head rolled his eyes. "How are we gonna be of any help? Looping or not, he'll flip if he sees us."

"We'll have to commendeer the Gigas." Buzz interjected. "If Sora could hijack one of them, it would only make sense if we could do the same."

The toys thought long and hard only to hear a loud: "YEE-HAW!" followed by the sounds of Gigas mech toys being bashed out of the way of an unruly member. "Come on down, fellers! They're ripe for the ripping!"

-ILP-

Swinging about his knives through the heartless, Yosuke kept at the assault with such resolve as the other three of his allies smite the last of the shadows. "Phew, talk about a real workout, eh?"

"I dunno..." Yu stressed to his comrades. "Something about this doesn't feel right..." His concerns were soon met with confirmation in the form of a trifecta of oncoming Darksides. "Out of the frying pan..."

"And into the fire." Chie watches as one of the Darksides wound up a punch so she could figure out how to dodge the oncoming attack. Once the punch made contact with the ground, the personas went at the bare arm as the children climbed up the forearm and onto the shoulder where two sets of two children took the opportunity to leap over onto the heads of each of the Darksides to the left and the right. "Hold on tight!"

"Why's that?" Teddie's answer came in the form of a round of heat-seaking missiles to the face with another round on the way that Saturnus acted to block in any way it could. Teddie soon spotted the same Darkside they hopped off of scooping up pure darkness for a powerful attack... only to be struck down from behind by Izanagi. "Good save, boss!"

"Don't celebrate just yet." Stressed Yu. "There's still two more to get out of our scalps."

-ILP-

With Jennifer driving as fast as the fuel tank of her vehicle could carry her, Amu and her siblings clung to their respective seatings as they looked for the two young adults that found themselves on the receiving end of Konishi's kind battering.

"There they are!" Amu pointed with shock, prompting Jennifer to hit the brakes on the vehicles to the sight of 'Tyler' catching a battered 'Amy' in his arms before administering a curious green glow onto her wounds that healed them with relative ease.

"Had enough?" Konishi taunted as his bright pink aura gave way to a deep violet hue. "Pity, for I intended to pull out all the stops with you little rascals."

"Mister Konishi, look at yourself!" 'Amy' blurted out to the man. "Do you even see what that thing is doing to you? You've opened your biological cells to pure darkness! There's almost no way of going back if you keep pushing this!"

"So What!?" complained Konishi with a slasher grin. "With my ultimate key, I can wipe the floor with any Keyblade Master!"

"The last time we had to deal with concerns for an 'ultimate key', It ended with countless lives ruined and existences created simply to die." As 'Amy' spoke to Konishi, a sort of weary look to her eyes manifested for those who knew of such reasons to recognize and understand. "If you want to pander to such delusions and arrogance, then I hope you can cope with the consequences."

"Why yes, I think I can." The man pressed his fingers to his temples as if to channel some sort of electromagnetic current to the tips before launching it against the two. They thankfully dodged and equipped their armor in the air before sprinting towards Konishi with all their swiftness and agility. "Go on, then. Keep up your pathetic display!"

"You'd say it's pathetic..." 'Tyler' huffed underneath his helmet. "But in the countless years we've lived, we've touched many hearts to the point where a lot of them now stand alongside our might as a part of us!"

"We've connected with friends, our hearts acting as our guiding key!" 'Amy' steadied her ground. "If you can't possibly comprehend that, then you're free to let your cold heart blacken with the negative vibes you've shown to us this night!"

"Fine by me!" agreed Konishi as he let the darkness wash over his form, only to seemingly feel unwell... "Shigabane Power... MAXIMUMUUUUUURRRRRR!" The erupting shadow creature that exploded into being was no longer the man named Hakami Konishi but a six-armed beast in brown and black, A golden cobra-head indicating a familiar aura to him. An Arabian outfit and three sharp talons on each hand told the story of exactly what Konishi's greed had led him to become.

"An abomination beyond hope of salvation?" glared 'Tyler' with a hint of lament. "Fitting words for what you've made yourself into."

-ILP-

More heartless were being battered away by Bonnie as she brandished a plastic lightsaber. Sooner or later, they came down to the dead-end corner of the store for adult-oriented collectables. "Uh, oh..."

As the Gigas toys and the Soldier heartless marched ever closer, a lashing Deserter was soon met with oblivion by means of a laserbeam fired by a skyward Gigas as it made the full three-point landing to knock a few of its cousins onto their feet. The two children looked in awe of who this new player was before it went into a battlecry to indicate what was to come next. Andy and Bonnie looked in amazement of the flying toy looking to bonk out the Guardian Heartless from its cockpit so that the crystalized heart-shaped jewel would be released from its dark biomass with a swift kick of another rouge Gigas. "How's that for a rodeo?"

"Now let's round up some shadow critters!" a third Rogue Gigas emerged from the masses with more set to reveal their true colors themselves.

The flight capacitors on the first of these Rouge Gigas promptly engaged as its pilot declared: "To Infinity and Beyond!"

-ILP-

"On three!" Yu spoke through a handmade megaphone that Teddie made from a squirrel, some string and a megaphone. Teddie had also conceived a decent enough plan to take down the Darksides and reach the two children in a short span of time. Using the momentum from the Personas' final strike against the Darksides, they can propel themselves towards the Cabinet Screen and be quicker in their commute to Andy and Bonnie. "One... Two..."

"THREE!" Cheered Teddie to prompt Izanagi and Saturnus lunged at the creatures, vanquishing them on the spot and pulling the Inaba Loopers into the air by the slingshot Teddie had connected to both Personas. Their legs scrambled to keep themselves up before the Cabinet came into sight when they flipped through the screen and landed as elegantly as they could under these childlike conditions: Chie landing with the most grace and Yosuke being crushed by a tumbling Teddie. "Awawa... We could have beared better..."

"Easy for you to say!" mumbled Yosuke under the bear suit.

"Everyone, Focus!" Yu glared back to his fellow Loopers. "We need to get to Bonnie and Andy as soon as we can."

"Right!" Chie asserted. "Let's get back up and get moving fast!"

"Okey-Doke!" Teddie rolled back up off of Yosuke and kneeled down to help him up, then went along to carry him along their way towards the two American children with a sense of resolve to protect them from whatever they've got to deal with at this particular moment. "How much further, boss?"

"Just a little more, I can hear their voices." Yu's sprint slowly degraded in speed as they approached the crowd of Gigas toys looming closer. "There they are!" Yu brandished his katana with Yosuke close behind with daggers in hand to join in the fight, only to find that there are a few among the Gigas stamping out the remaining Gigas. This prompted Yu to halt in his tracks, then signal his three fellow Loopers to stand down and back away. "Don't look, all. We all know who's driving those mechs..."

Hopping about and trampling throughout the district, the demon that was once Konishi was eager to crush the man's two opponents once and for all with Jennifer watching with sheer horror and Amu looking with a sense of resolve. "I'm going after them."

"Don't you dare!" scolded Jennifer.

"Well, somebody has to help them!" Amu howled back. "Do you even care about them!?"

"Of course I do!" Jennifer reasserted. "But they can take care of themselves!"

"They'll die if we don't do something!" Ran argued.

"They're just like us, they're risking their lives to save ours!" Miki added.

"They've been through harsh lives and dangerous destinies-desu!" Su augmented.

Jennifer merely looked by the side with lament before seeing a sort of spark, a stubbornness like with Bonnie but tempered by a youthful wisdom like 'Amy' has. She then relented and unlocked the car doors for Amu and her sisters. "Kick his can, kids."

Amu nodded with such vigor before refocusing her sights to Kurt Zisa and readied her transformation: "My own heart, unlock!"

It was now five good Gigas against four leftover mechs and they brought the heavy artillery to knock one of them down, bashing in two heads before sweeping the legs of the lone remaining mecha to Andy and Bonnie's shock. The leader of these Rouge Gigas dusted his hands and chimed: "And that's that. Good work, team. Pack it in and I'll catch up with Andy real soon."

"How do you know my-?" Andy started before realizing who he was talking to. "It's you in there, isn't it."

"Tree-dangit..." The lead Gigas glanced to Andy with lament towards the goings-on. "Sorry that our first true meeting had to be this way, the gang don't know what I'm doing with ya and they're still waiting on this particular moment... They think you're Looping."

Andy merely nodded his head. "Kind of a stretch..."

"Not as much as you'd think." The voice in the Gigas lamented "I've heard whispers from our Admin, We're close enough for a Soul to be possible, but we don't know exactly what's going on right now..."

"Do you think I can become a Looper at any moment." Andy asked the mech.

"Depends on how close you are to the Anchor, pal." answered the Gigas.

"Well, where even is he?" Andy's question was met with the cockpit hatch of the Gigas opening wide to reveal a familiar cowboy doll: "Woody..."

Konishi's heartless form was gearing up for a final strike at the two Keyblade Masters with a kniving grin on his deformed face when a voice piped: "Emote Pulse!" and promptly kicked Konishi in his corrupted skull with a powerful blow that knocked him away from 'Tyler' and 'Amy' with such force. "Guess I came in just in time, huh."

'Amy' glanced to the young face amongst them and smiled: "I guess Jen couldn't help but let you loose..."

"I guess it's in the eyes!" blushed Amu as she readied herself for another strike and 'Tyler' aimed his Keyblade at Konishi for a round of Shotlock Magic. Amu spotted a certain point at the deformed Heartless Creature, an x-shaped point that was glowing green. "Ty, Aim Amy at that pin!"

"Wait, the Shigabane key?" 'Tyler' pondered before the proposed idea crossed his mind and he realized the tactical advantage this could bring. "You got it! Ready, 'Ames'?"

"As I'll ever be..." 'Amy' eyed back before redirecting her glare to Amu with a subtle joke to herself. "What is with girls suggesting things that get other girls dirty..." She watched 'Tyler' transformed his keyblade into an incredibly large railgun which she promptly slid into the barrel of as if to ready herself to be fired out with the ammunition. With one shot, she braced the whiplash in her legs and swung her Keyblade against Konishi's chest. With that, her rush to get to the Heartless Creature's supposed naval piercing began. 'Tyler' launches Thundraza at the creature to stun Konishi and allow 'Amy' plenty of time to reach the hilt of the creature's gut before being swiped away by its lower arms as it manifests a sort of sphere. This silencing spell has the consequence of leaving 'Amy' unable to speak and thus, incapable of casting her signature spells. And for an encore, Konishi spins about the sky in either one of two ways towards the two Keyslingers.

"Remake Honey!" Amu spews a spray of odd substance onto his upper arms with her whisk before landing a powerful punch onto its magic-holding hand that releases the captive voice before it begins swinging its swords in a helicopter-like fashion with reckless abandon as if to signal the ides of war before twisting and turning its body against 'Tyler' who then answered with a bite into a chocolate-coated ice cream to apply a powerful aura with an earthy power to it. "Going with Earthshaker?"

"You know it!" The man's swinging keyblade and clashing blows shook and shifted the ground beneath them, his focus aiming at the golden shelled turtle as the snake-like head squirmed in pain. "Now take your exit over on stage... White Left..." He then summoned three large earth crystals from the ground to bash the beast against one of the ruined warehouses, freeing the remaining voice from its grasp.

"Thanks..." 'Amy' spat as her hoarse chords loosened back to normal, she glared to the demon as it created an ethereal barrier to protect from physical attacks. "I've loaded a Triple Firaga or two in my deck, and you?"

"Some Firaga Burst..." 'Tyler' scratched the back of his head. "You thinking what I'm thinking?" No sooner than when the deed was discussed before an incoming collage of tornados swept them off the ground with powerful g-forces and harsh momentum. The moment they landed flat onto their backs in front of Jennifer's car, the two were out of breath and out of luck. She went over to carry them back into the car faster than Konishi can step on the lot of them... only to see the barrier broken with a finely-timed rifle shot to the chest.

"Amu, did you see that!?" Ran telepathically exclaimed. "It straight-up shattered! Just like that!" Amu then looked to the top of a certain building to find a cloaked sniper who then makes his way out of focus for the night. "Guys! Now's your chance!"

'Amy' slowly aimed her Shotlock at Konishi's X-key before spraying her final barrage at the stunned creature to smyte him once and for all. As she watched te disembodied heart ascend to the stars, she let out a sigh and spoke: "Right on the money..."

"Come on, you two..." Jennifer hushed as she helped the two get back into the car. "Let's go home." Amu and her charas followed suit in helping them into the car, following it as it drove by the cloaked figure. It let out a sigh as it watched from the distance and turned away to exit the area, a knowing look beneath his goggles.

The board of investors looked in awe at the destruction of their CEO, his flatlining pulse displayed upon the screen as they looked among their remaining numbers with a sense of retreat in their minds. "Get Shigata-san on board and release the dummy clone on the double, we're stepping away from our more dubious shareholders."

"A wise decision, sir. Better to burn the bridges rather than let them walk over us." Spoke an older shareholder to the side of the head. "The problem now is with our guests, he was meant to have sent them back by this time tomorrow and with him gone-."

"Well, we get Shigata up here in his new office, explain the necessity of someone to fill his shoes." stood the lead shareholder, a balding fellow with a pen in his pocket as he twiddled with it a bit before looking to his co-workers. "We might need to offer Jennifer Shigata's job as a means to keep her quiet about our fallen leader's actions."

"Excellent idea, sir." smiled one of the other shareholders. "Quick Question, by the way..."

The lead glared to his junior. "Go on."

"Does this mean we have to pull out of the No-Heart program?" he peeped.

"Makes no sense to stay now that we have the key to what we came for." glared the man. "There's an untapped market for Bottom-Up Ai programs, and we intend to embrace it as our next venture."

"But what of the Shigabane child?" Glanced one of the female shareholders towards the small blonde. "Do we hide her in the Garage Island on Replicant?"

"If it keeps the likes of Dicker and his ilk off his back, then we must make it so." The lead shareholder walked forward to the blonde to rustle her locks with a smile. "How would you like to reach for the stars?"

With the doors unlocked by their masters, Andy and Bonnie rushed out of the toy store and into the arms of the loving mother that brought the keyslingers here after a fight well fought. Eager to explain the whole to his mother, Andy began "We were so scared but our Anchor came to save us! it was cool, Mom! You'll never guess who it is!"

Jennifer promptly answered with a punch to the shoulder. "That's for not telling me about Terra and Aqua's true nature."

"Eheheh..." Andy's eyes had a sense of worry to them. "You know about that?"

"I know everything." Jennifer answered.

"You gotta admit." Andy smiled. "This'll be one for the scrapbooks for sure!"

As they made their way back to the car, Andy notices that there are people rushing a gernie-bound body into an ambulance. Recognizing the body as that of Hakami Konishi, Terra (No sense in calling him 'Tyler' anymore.) rightfully points out to Aqua in a secretive whisper. "It's likely a clone."

Aqua (The Character of 'Amy' is no longer here) nodded in agreement and glanced to Andy. "We had a little disagreement with Konishi-san on the usage of Midichlorians, more specifically the means of how it can clone individual beings. One thing led to another and before we knew it, he got himself poisoned with his own science."

"Is he going to be okay?" Andy asked.

"We're just going to have to wait and see." Aqua half-smiled before walking towards the car with a sense of relief in her heart and a feeling of suspiscion towards the future.

Driving back into the driveway at the Dojima residence, the triumphant heroes slowly trudged back up to the front door upon exiting the vehicle. When they opened the door, the first thing Jennifer did was cradle Molly in her arms as she delicately sat on the couch for a spell, watching the even more exhausted champions flop onto the nearest comfy surface to sleep.

"They've had a long day today, Molly." comforted Jennifer as the group of fighters curled up and fell to their slumberous fate for the night... only for the phone to ring tirelessly for someone in this particular house.

"Dojima-saaaaan..." moaned Bonnie.

"Save your breath kids, I got it..." Jennifer got up and walked over to the phone, laying the now sleeping Molly into the pram before picking up the phone. "Dojima Residence, if English isn't your type of tongue, I can take the phone over to the man of the house."

"Jen, right?" asked a familiar voice. "It's Shigata-san, I've got some news from up on high concerning the top of the mountain so to speak..."

"Hold on..." Jennifer froze for a spell. "Is it about Konishi-san?"

"Yeah, there's been an accident with recalibrating the lighting." Shigata-san spoke "He wants me to take over the company as CEO while he's recovering."

"Really?" Jennifer's eyes widened. "Well, in that case... My congratulations to you, sir."

"And that's not even the best part!" exclaimed Shigata. "I've been egged on by investors to pass my old role to you. As of right now, you are in the running to be the new VP of International Relations."

Jennifer stepped back in shock. "Gosh, this... This is all too much to take in..."

"Take your time, Ma'am..." hushed Shigata. "I understand how big of a lifestyle change this is."

"I know, but it's just..." Jennifer glanced to her children, "It's my children. They have lives back home in America, and I can't just uproot just because of-."

"Well, one of Konishi's trusted shareholders requested you." mentioned Shigata to the intrigue of Jennifer, herself having the experience of seeing the 'Animal' Konishi had become dissipate into darkness that night. "He's comforting Konishi in the hospital right now."

"Two of my fellow guests came over to his office to talk with him that night." Jennifer mentioned. "What they saw in there..."

"Whatever it was, the investors have made a decision to clear the clutter out for the new management." Shigata reassured to the woman. "This includes the midichlorian research that's stuck you in this position to begin with..."

Jennifer looked to the younger generations as they slept the night away, then let out a sigh before putting the phone. "I take it you're already uprooting?"

"Yes." Nodded Shigata "We're working on the purchase of your house from the Landlord so we can start packing up the necessary things."

"Guess there's no escape from this, eh?" Jennifer lamented as she glanced back to Molly. "One question, can you send some of Andy's teachers over as well..."

"Sure." chuckled Shigata. "Why do you ask."

"Because I want Andy to know his native language just as well as your native language."

-END KONISHI ARC-

And that closes the book on Bonnie and Andy for this particular time in their lives, they'll be spending the next few years in Japan to get acquainted with the super scene there with nothing left for this era than little one-shots that bridge the gap between this moment and the next arc with the Guardian sleepover. If anyone is eager to write these one-shots along with me, then by all means, do help yourself to the best of your ability. Both kids have quite the imagination, Andy's a creative storyteller and Bonnie's a bonne-certified artist in the making. That, friends, is a perfect jumping-off point for nurturing their friendship. Thanks to everyone who stuck by me for the past couple of months, but for now, playtime's over and I have ideas that have been brewing in my brain. Maybe I can get to a snip with Belle raising Boo or make good on my promise of 'Family Treasures'

News of the shake-up at Konishi spread like wild flowers with word even spilling into top-tier science facilities like the one helmed by a man with black hair and a peppered beard who was processing the news from a reputable source. A graying brunette with a moustache as large as his hairline was retracting leaned by to read the article to his surprise. "Wow, Hakami really goofed up with his 'Shigabane' experiment, didn't he?"

"Well, biological cloning is quite the young science when you put it that way." spoke the bearded scientist. "Not like advanced robotics, Ai networking, or even the science of Quirks which have had their time to flourish and bloom."

"What I am intrigued about is who they got to replace him." The moustachioed man chuckled to himself. "I wish Shigata the best with this Museum of his, but did he have to pass his old position to an American guest from a turn of events?"

"Not just any guest, Albert." Spoke the bearded man to his colleague. "A woman I knew in life, an old flame from my youth..."

"Well, fess up. Who is it?" asked Doctor Albert Wily. "Is it LaLinde, she taking up an interest in clones?"

"No, it isn't her..." responded Doctor Thomas Light "The new VP was once my wife."

[edit] Chapter 14

[edit] Enter Riley

Riley was not exactly into this Loop, her dad was working with inventory and deployment of Robot Masters and the 'Smash Bros.' Line of miniatures and that meant that she was under the care of Doctor Thomas Light of the Mega Loops. But then Riley and Light found out about who Riley was replacing that Loop and thus, here she was as a part-time lab assistant to Doctor Light in place of Roll and even Rock himself. Did this mean she was going to become Mega Man? Or maybe this meant something else since her Loop Memories said something about her admiring a glowing golden superheroine. Regardless, she rolled with it as best as she could and kept her circle of friends tightly knit which was a lot bigger than it usually was. Jordan was there, sure, but then there was Kamela Khan who introduced her to the Superhero Scene, Amadeus Cho who's a fun-loving kind of geek, Sacorro Rivera who was a compulsive liar, and Lan Hikari who's grandfather Tadashi works as a colleague to Light as she noted in her diary.

I'll admit, things are a lot more diverse this Loop and enjoyable for what I've been dealt.

Then there's Riri.

Lord-Slag-Frack. Riri.

Where to even begin with Riri.

She slipped Thirium in my milkshake and made me admit the way I cheated on my lifestyle change, made me miss the bus to test her cuffling web shooters, then she kept me up all night working on an 7th Grade Science Fair project (throughout the summer, mind you.) But then came the Battle of New York In the middle of that year.

She lost her father in the scuffle, despite Spidey's best efforts. No one's ever heard from the webslinger since.

I came over to comfort her after the, only to find that she's doubled down on her passion project: Ironheart Armaments. Custom Armors in the same vein as the Iron Man armor she's reverse engineered for the Science Fair.

And that's why she was aching to see me at work, to see the cybernetics at play with the Robot Masters I interact with on a regular basis.

Riri couldn't help but revel in the pivots and shafts in the hydrolics that lay exposed in its wait for completion, oohing and ahhing at all the bells and whistles she could fiddle with as Riley watched along with the fully-assembled Robot Masters. "The composition, the craftsmanship, its all so smooth and sleek! And I hear this is for a Break Man, ya?"

"No, that would Ocean Man, tide-predicting robot." Riley glanced. "Break Man's still in the conceptual phase."

"Are you literally asking me if any of this matters to me?" Sneered Riri. "It really doesn't."

"Then why are you even oggling at the frame?" Riley asked.

"Because these are straight-up robots!" Riri beemed. "With Hydrolics under chassis and everything!"

"All building from the infrastructure I designed," Wily replied with a grin. "You are welcome, by the way."

"Always a pleasure to see the Real Man behind the Mecha as it were." Riri complimented to Wily, who then cracked a genuine smile at her. "The only thing that can make this the best day of my life would be if-"

Knock-Knanananock-Knock-Knock!

Riri looked the monitor that was attached to the doorway and saw an iconic face of tech saying to the camera: "Yeah, Hi. I'm looking for Tommy. We're supposed to go to Japan on a business trip, is he around?"

Twas the face of Tony Stark himself.

An Ai assistant modeled after Lenny moved quickly to inform Thor (The Original, you might say.) of news: "Sir, It's Riri! Her instability percentage dropped two whole points!"

-ILP-

"It's always Doctor Light..." Complained Dr Wily as Riri stood silent with the widest grin upon her face, her life complete with the chance encounter of her dreams. "I'll go deliver you to him if you wish."

"No, I'm perfectly fine with getting to his lab myself." Tony let himself into the household and shook hands with Riri before glancing to Riley. "Riley, Right? Is Tommy still in his lab?"

"And hard at work on a new machine that'll likely put CyberLife to shame." Riley pointed out. "Why do you ask?"

"I need to take him on a little business trip to Japan to the Konishi Museum." Tony remarked to the blonde preteen. "There's this lady in charge of international relations who's stepping down right now to support her kids."

"You mean his ex-wife?" Riley retorted. Tony stepped back a foot or two to ponder the ramifications before Riley continued. "Don't worry, he already booked his flight last night and I'll be sure to tell him when to depart on his afternoon flight."

"Perfect!" Tony chimed before dashing to the computer to check up on the familiar faces. "One quick question before I pick him up."

"Yeah, go ahead." Riley glared back.

"Where's the regularly scheduled Rockman?"

[edit] Big in Japan

Tony did not hesitate to cancel Doctor Light's flight in favor of a trip on his private jet, and sure enough, it reached Japanese shores in half the time traditional jets could carry them. Tony had rented them a condo for the week that they were allowed to stay and even had Riley have supplementary schooling in Seiyo Elementary. "Ooh, Sakura petals!" Joy oggled with her standard style of glee. "Just as pink as they are in anime! I still can't believe we're in Japan!"

"And in a Variant Feige Loop to boot!" added Sadness. "I can't wait to watch the superheroes fly only to discentegrate at the tail end of it all..."

"Not to worry, I'm already hard at work on compiling everything that can go wrong in a Japanese School." Fear reassured. "Including separate entries for individual Kaiju."

"You guys," Riley quietly hushed to her innermost friends. "It's just one week. The last in the year, we're not staying that long."

"That's no excuse to skip out on the first impression." Disgust retorted. "If anything, it makes this even more important!"

Riley continued to walk to her class before bumping into a towering figure as she closed in on her homeroom, Anger was not amused so he got Riley to muster up the gumption to say: "Could ya scoot a bit, sir?"

"Why don't I let you in," He turned around to reveal the face of a japanese man adorned with a cap that had tattered somewhat in the back to reveal slightly mustled-up hair. His eyes had a penetrating glare to them that intimidated Riley and her emotions (even Anger!) "I already told my other students about you so you can proceed to your desk as normal."

"Oh, sure." Riley blushed in a panic, "I promise I won't be too much of a hassle for this week, Mr. Kujo! You are Kujo-sensei, right?"

"The Loopier folks tend to call me Jotaro." the man, named Jotaro, opened the door and let Riley into the homeroom as she took her seat with relief towards not having to recite her introduction for once. Jotaro then shut the door and said in his native language: "Treat Riley with respect, that goes double for our imminent graduates."

"Will do, Kujo-sensei." The children spoke in japanese as the class began. As Jotaro began to lecture on in Japanese, Riley kept her nose in the dictionary to translate what Jotaro was saying before find herself poked by a familiar face.

"Don't worry, cousin. It wasn't easy when my and my buddy started either." It belonged to a more american-sounding student. Wavy brown hair and lightly-tanned skin complimented a warm, welcoming smile. "Tell ya what, I'll let ya skim through my notes if ya like."

"Thanks." Riley smiled back as she copied away. "So... you're a Gaijin, An American in Japan?"

"Eyup!" The other girl hushed. "My best friend's the son of a museum bigwig!"

"You're friends with Andy Davis?" Riley's eyes widened, she's heard of the Toy Story movies from passers-by Loopers throughout her life and heard plenty of praise about them. The fact that Andy is here in Japan means that she was in a Fused Loop with the Branch in question, so she had to keep her cool and hide her foreknowledge. "His mom's VP of Foreign Relationship, right?"

"Mhmm..." The girl nodded. "But she's aiming to exit when we graduate next week."

"Can't say I'm shocked." Riley shrugged. "Rumors say she got the job after good ol' Konishi wound up kicking it as he bumped Shigata-san up to the CEO Position. Think you know a thing or two about that."

The girl sheepishly looked away before introducing herself. "I'm Bonnie."

-ILP-

She listened into the class and skimmed at Bonnie's notes as it went along, all while they silently shared small talk throughout. After class, Bonnie invited Riley over for Lunch where they waited for the Guardians club she was a part of. "So what exactly do you guys do in this club?"

"Help other students, mostly." Bonnie sipped her milk. "But there are other things that fall onto our plate from time to time."

"Like what?" Riley gazed.

"Like Nobodies." Bonnie leaned back and glanced behind her. "You've played the Kingdom Hearts Games, right?"

"One and Two, yes." Riley responded. "Looking into playing Three and the spin-offs, as many as they are."

"One of those people, huh?" Bonnie sighed in lament. "At least you played the 'second' one... That's where th-Hey!" As if on cue, a Dusk monster swiped away her bookbag and scurried away into the darkness. Bonnie wasted no time in getting off on her feet to persue the creature with Riley following after.

"Okay, apparently we have Kingdom Hearts Critters to wrestle this Loop." Fear assumed. "Surprising, but not unexpected with how the branch has manifested this Loop."

"Just tell me when we break out the Kantai Gear." Anger cracked his knuckles as he readied the deploy function of Riley's Pocket. The Dusk soon slithered into the line of fire in time for the two to flank it on both sides. "How do you like your zombies, original recipe or extra crispy."

"Take it easy, cousin." Bonnie blushed to the blonde. "We've already wiped out all the corresponding Heartless, all that's left is to wrangle up them 'dere twilight critters and bop the people they were back to normal."

"So that's how they work." Fear pondered to himself before reciting the intel to his co-workers. "Take note of this for when Xehanort arrives in 3, because really, one complete nort's gonna cause some trouble when he does." But alas, a few additional Creeper Nobodies swarmed to the Dusk's side, much to the surprise of the girls. "You might wanna launch the altilary sooner rather than later!"

"Set to fire when ready." Anger was rubbing his hands together as the Big Red 'Pocket' Button glowed in his sight, Riley readied her palms for the incoming equipment when out of the blue: "YOU'RE DONE!"

The Nobodies were swiftly and severely blasted to smithereens by a large brown cannon in the sky that swiftly changed into a thick keyblade in the hands of a man with long brown hair and a beige longcoat. "Hey, Bonnie."

"Good morning, master!" Bonnie waved back. "Have you met Riley? She's from America just like us!"

"Really?" Terra glanced forward to the girl and said. "Judging from the face, you just might come from the same sort of parts as our first star pupil."

"Wait, you know of the Pixar Cluster!?" Riley glanced to the man and then to Bonnie.

"Yep!" The brunette replied. "I do too! Watched their first three flicks myself at Cowboy Camp a couple years back, me and my partner! C'mon, I'll show ya!" Bonnie quickly grasped at Riley's arm and pulled her along the way to the girl's intended destination.

[edit] The Guardian Club

The Guardians were waiting for their guest of honor at their round table, the group itself missing a few of its members as one of the designated legal... well, y'know... arrived with a mess of soot and Darkling Gunge all over her twenty-some year old body. "Guess who's been out and about putting out snarl fires all morning."

"Another one?" stressed Tadase, King's Heart and leader of the group. "Must be a lot of branches fusing together,"

"Guess Janus wasn't kidding about his collection of Branches congregating while he looked for new Admins to lighten the load." Jack's Spade Kairi Sanjou lamented to himself before proclaiming: "Isn't it just the Disney Loops that are connecting?"

King's Diamond Nagihiko Fujisaki shook his head, "The presence of Stands, Personas and former Charas serve as proof to the contrary."

"And All-Might." Mentioned Yaya, The Ace's Clover pointing at the Pro Hero of the Quirky Loops proudly stamped on the cover of a magazine with other Pros of his ilk. "Probably to compliment the Marvel Guys in the states."

"Superheroes, too?" reacted Rima, Queen's Heart chair beside Tadase but aimed solely at Nagi. "I'll admit, it's kind of a stretch but if it's because of Marvel's current climate, I won't say that It's a shocking turn here."

"Ain't that the truth." Jack's Clover Yosuke Hanamura placed his cappuccino onto an issue of Mockingbird as he yawned. "To think we were roped in because a couple of Gaijin needed to stay at the boss' place."

"Even still, I hear that Uravity and Froppy might have Actual Looping Souls." Even with the Loops slowly becoming common knowledge thanks to the Speedwagon Foundation's precautions over the years, Queen's Clover Nadeshiko Fujisaki was not very deep in the proverbial Loop about it due to being a 'Mini-Me' of sorts. "Kinda like Amu and everybody else, right?"

"Everyone else except Andy." Amu leaned back and corrected before glancing to Jack's Heart Andy. "No offence, right." Andy slumped into his seat. Amu merely rolled her eyes in lament, her role as Joker and later Joker's Wild was to act as the main trump card of sorts for when things get freaky, so it made sense that she'd be roped into a Loop as freaky as this.

"Circling back to Nobodies, Almost all the victims have returned to life as expected of their condition." Kairi stated to his peers. "Only seven names are left unaccounted for."

"Make that four!" Bonnie was walking to her seat as Ace's Diamond with her guest in tow. "Terra bopped a trio of Nobodies on the way to pick me and my new friend up from school."

"New friend?" Andy exclaimed in shock.

"Yeah, This is Riley!" Bonnie introduced as she and Riley sat by both sides of Andy. "So whaddiya think of the Guardians Club?"

"Play it cool." huffed Disgust. "Last thing they need is a bad first impression."

Riley took a deep breath and sighed: "It's alright. Still wondering where the 'Would-be Selves' are."

"Eh-Ihm..." A voice belonging to a pink-haired girl sporting side-ponytail rung to Riley.

"No way..." Riley exclaimed to her surprise. "You're the guardian characters?"

"Yep." Nodded the ponytailed pinkette, named Ran. "Midichlorians can do wonders for a growing fairy's body, don't you think?"

"As in Jedi?"

The elder brunette that watched over the Diamond's side of the table was subsequently joined by a young woman in a light blue robe. "You're technically not that far off..." She then flipped her wrist to manifest an ocean blue keyblade. "The teachings we undergo are rather similar to the Jedi Order but the power we weild is more akin to Green Lanterns."

"That's DC, right?" huffed Disgust. "Don't they have their own problems?"

"Darkseid, Chemtrails, Phantom Zones and the occasional reworking of Brother Power!" clarified Fear. "All such antics we are far away from as we speak."

"You even have your own piece of mantra recently?" Riley brought up. "'May your heart be your guiding key'?"

"Yes." The blunette confirmed. "And it's a lesson many couldn't seem to learn in baseline..."

Those who were aware of Aqua's native baseline sat silent, praying that its oncoming expansion will provide hope for her future. "But you tought us." Bonnie's words reached Aqua and Terra in a place reserved for another friend. An absent friend. "You tought us about what it means, how we hafta follow our hearts out of the darkest hours of our lives, the biggest messes we get ourselves into, set things right whenever there's trouble. That's the power of the keyblade, ya?"

Aqua smiled. "If only there were more people as simple as you..."

[edit] Doctor Light

"It's not that simple, Stark." spoke the man that stood opposite of the founding Avenger. "The conditions in which I had Awakened that Loop are a different matter in of itself."

"You mean to tell me you Awoke with a wife that loved you who was already pregnant with a second kid, and then you ditch her and the first-" the stone-faced expression halted Stark in his tracks. "Sorry... It's just that you expected your kids to be YOUR kids... I'm not exactly sure how they managed to end up locked out."

"Well, they did." lamented the elder scientist of the two. "How they did is a mystery unto itself to the point where trying to construct them as I typically do all end in failure."

"Hold up, failure?" Spoke Tony in his shock. "But the Robot Masters turned out alright, what gives?"

"Believe it or not, it wasn't about the hardware but the A.i. instead..." hypothesized the gentleman on the other side. "Hikari-san's work on NetNavis definitely helped in that department but is it enough?"

Tony just sighed and put a finger to his mandable with doubt.

-ILP-

Whist this was unfolding, Jennifer sat just outside the office with a man with spiked black hair as they fiddled with their respective devices. Jennifer glanced to the man and said: "So... you have kids, right."

"Yeah." the man spoke back. "Just recently, to be honest..."

"Is that so?" Said Jennifer. "Tell me, Have you ever had trouble with the birds and the bees as I have had?"

"Finding the perfect girl was hard, two women in high school, one from college," The man began. "Each relationship more professional than the last."

"And yet you were still interested enough to considering having kids." Jennifer raised her brow.

"It's complicated..." he continued, scratching the back of his head. "Most of the time life after High School's sort of a 'fill-in-the-blank' type deal to the point where I can count the constant elements of my post-college career on one hand."

"What's the matter?" glared Jennifer. "You're not feeling Loopy, are you?"

"Are you?"

"No," Denied Jennifer. "But my son's friends are Loopers."

The man did a double take. "How do you know about Loopers?"

"Firsthand experience." Jennifer answered with regret. "Three Years Ago, my son hitched a ride to an airport on the back of a Pizza Planet Truck to catch a guy who stole one of his toys, his favorite toy, I might add. The result saw me and my kids being forced to uproot to Japan after this sort of a domino effect got me hired by the Konishi Corporation to a VP position that I've just now penned my two-weeks notice for in time for his grade school graduation."

"It looks to be around that time, isn't it." the man lamented to himself. "But you said he had a friend who was a Looper, did he not."

"A friend from back home who led him to two others, older and more experienced." Jennifer added. "No doubt they were there to guide her through the lifestyle of the Loops. From there, I was dragged further and further and further down the rabbit hole and before I knew it, I had escorted those two Loopers to basically kill a businessman with an obsession with clones..."

"So you were complicit?" asked the man.

"Are you kidding, of course not!" Jennifer pouted to the fellow. "I was forced to take up Japanese as a second language whilst ensuring that it didn't end up as Molly's first. I was shoehorned into an executive position I didn't deserve through a need to replace the CEO they killed disguised as affirmative action."

"Calm down, ma'am." Hushed the man. "But what about your son? What does he think of all this?!"

Jennifer halted, deep in thought. Had she even asked for his opinion? And in that moment, Tony Stark stepped out to speak with Jennifer. "Erm... he asked that you and your kids join in."

"So you have." Jennifer stood up and dusted her suit as she walked through the door to see a face that she never wanted to see again, a gray-haired gentleman with a distinguished white streak in the middle of his peppered beard and a silver lining in his sideburns. "Hello, Thomas. I take it you didn't invite me for personal reasons."

"If we're being honest..." Thomas stepped forward and glanced to his ex-wife saying: "It's those same reasons that brought me to you."

Tony typed up the Skype App and messaged Riley to activate the chat. "They'll be up any moment, better brace the kids for what's coming."

"Thank you." spoke Jennifer to Stark as she walked to the computer which was ringing up for videochat. "I'm going to have to speak with Andy."

"If it's Riley, I'll ease her in." Tony offered as he clicked the green button to display the face on the other end. Blonde hair and hazel eyes provided all the details he needed. "Riley! Hey, kid. It's Tony!"

"Hey, Mr. Stark." Riley glanced at Tony from the garden with Yu leaning into frame with curious intent. "Tony Stark?"

"Yep." Tony Stark smiled back to the King's Clover. "Welcome to Earth-616."

"Holy crap, it's Iron Man!" Yosuke piped from his seat. "What's he doing here?!"

"We interrupt your club activities to give you some Light family drama." Stark then scooted over to reveal a man that catches the Jack's Heart off-guard.

A man he thought he'd never see again. "Dad?"

"Hello, Andy." huffed Thomas. "It's been a while."

"Doctor Light's your dad!?" Yosuke's eyes widened at such interactions. "Does that mean you're-?"

"Nope." Tony piped from nearby. "He's not the guy you're thinking of."

"He's not?" Yosuke stepped back and glanced to Andy in confusion. "Then what happened to him?"

"If you must know..." Jennifer bitterly spat to the scientist. "Two miscarriages and three Nobel Prizes before we had our first son."

"Miscarriage?!" Andy looked in shock.

"Jennifer, please!" The man stressed. "Not in front of poor Andrew, if he knew what came before him."

"What came before me?" Andy asked to his parents.

"No one you'd ever meet in your lifetime..." Jennifer sighed. "Or perhaps you'd like to reminisce on little Rockford?"

"I-erm... I recommend not saying that name..." Thomas objected in a haphazard manner.

"Alright, fine." Jennifer shrugged to her ex-husband. "And I guess Rolinda's out of the conversation as well?"

"Yes..." Thomas' frown was one of lament and disappointment, and one that got the attention of Yu.

"Rockford? Rolinda?" Yu's expression was of realization. "You don't happen to be Doctor Light, Right?"

"Yes, I am the same futurist, Doctor Thomas Light." The pepper-bearded man sighed to the white-haired bishonen-to-be. "Jen used to be my wife once upon a time, even used her maiden name for her children as to keep the paperazi out of their lives."

"I suppose there were supposed to be two elder siblings to your little boy." Eyed Yu.

"Yes, and there were complications." Thomas closed his eyes. "I don't wish to talk about it right now. Not for a few years, at least."

Andy silently oggled in awe as Yu pressed his index finger to his chin. "Wow."

"Okay, Doc." smirked Yosuke. "So what brings the leading mind in robotics to Seiyo of all places?"

"Consider it a graduation trip home." Jennifer answered to her Son. "If there's anything you want to do with your Guardian friends, now would be the time since when the diplomas are handed out, we're leaving..."

Silence filled the air, Andy and his friends looked amongst each other before the boy said: "You mean we have to leave our friends behind?"

Jennifer sighed back, "That's the way it has to be..."

Tony Stark leaned back to add: "You're going home."

"I guess that makes sense." spoke Yaya. "So do you want us over to help you pack up?"

[edit] Chapter 15

A post-graduation sleepover at Amu's place rounding up all the active Loopers finds Ikuto bring up his and Amu's baseline future, the long lives they lived through the Loops, and how infinite the Loops truly are with the measuring stick being Ranma Saotome, the legendary first Looper of Yggdrasil.

[edit] Packing

The time came to close up for the night with Riley and Amu accompanying Andy and Bonnie on their way home. "I know it sucks uprooting to a new country, most I get in baseline is a different state."

"No worries, cousin!" beemed Bonnie. "We're just moving back home is all."

"I know... but still, you've got friends down here you're just up and leaving the moment you get your diplomas," Riley worried for her newfound Looping colleague. "lives lived, habits nurtured, we're talking to each other in Japanese for corn's sake."

"Only because we've learned out of necessity." Andy rightfully pointed out. "These guys had to ease us into the language just so we could pass as normal."

"How?" glared Riley. "They don't exactly sound dubbed."

"There is Narukami." The children jumped in shock and glanced over to see Jotaro. "He and his friends have had an archive file dubbed same as me, so they helped to translate while they adjusted to the English tongue. Then I came along as an English Teacher for the kids specifically, by request at Mrs. Davis and my grandfather."

"He drops by from time to time with someone from the Speedwagon Foundation," Andy chuckled. "Though we tend to call him Uncle Joe."

"Talk about choosing your family." remarked Riley, most of her emotions listening in from within headquarters with Joy slipping in an idea bulb whilst she wasn't looking. "Maybe Uncle Joe's here to help pack up."

The Mood, whilst partially uplifted, just as easily sunk with Riley's question much to Joy's chagrin. Returning home to a pile of empty moving boxes, Andy and Bonnie made their way to pick up one to pack up the first few quantities of their things only to find a trail of animate marionettes carrying boxes one on each side.

"An Enemy Stand?!" exclaimed Jotaro.

"Whadiyathink?" piped a voice from behind them, belonging to a raven-haired boy their age. "Nobody but us Loopers can see these little wooden heads."

"Let me guess?" Jotaro pondered to the boy. "No Strings Attached?"

"Pretty close, but not quite." smiles the boy, "Come on, have a seat!" At that moment, the three children found themselves swept up by their own individual chairs as if they had moved on their own.

"In case you're wondering, the chairs are being moved though his connection to the Force." A behemoth of a man in a charming beige pinstripe suit began walking down the stairs. "He's a Jedi like Andy and Bonnie but the marionettes are part of the Stand: Stella Noté." As he got closer, one would find that his face resembled someone who looked to be in his mid sixties but still had a full head of hair (Complete with a beard and moustache combo) with full color with graying streaks as if he was in his thirties. "The boy's been looping for a little while, first fused Loop was in that far off galaxy of long ago you may or may not have heard of."

"Yoda's been teaching us about the Force for the past few years, I think we know a thing or two." joked Bonnie. "Who's the new face on the Block?"

"Oh, Zeppeli's the name." smiled the boy, "Pinocchio Zeppeli!"

"Pinocchio... Zeppeli?" Andy raised his eyebrow. "Grandson of Speedwagon Foundation CEO Caesar Zeppeli?"

"Yep!" gloated Joseph. "Double-teamed all three Pillarmen one after the next, me and him. I was Awake at the time, so he barely made it out alive. Took the longest time for him to Wake up however."

All Andy could do in reaction to this was sit down in shock and awe. Bonnie glances to her girlhood friend and chuckled: "Okay, I guess there's still a lot of Loopers out there."

"The multiverse in a nutshell." shrugged Riley. "It's nice to meet you, Pinoke." They all shared a laugh as they greeted their new friend, then promptly went to their respective bedrooms to find what needs packing up for the journey home. "So, what else is different about this Loop?"

[edit] Sanctum

"Then she gouged her eye out and it's been downhill ever since." Thor lamented from the futon, his emotion sullen and his posture slumped in his chair. "After the obvious reprecussions, Hela kicked him, myself and Loki"

"Jesus..." Tony Stark stood aghast at what he heard. "Guess it's gonna be one of those Loops."

"Yes." huffed the native Thor. "Still, Asgard is its people more than the land she stole from us. We've seen far worse Loops in our day, we can survive."

"Here, here." Stephen Strange raised a glass. "And I thought the vampire outbreak down here on earth was rough."

"Something about this smells fishy with a capital Fiscal Year of 2018." added Wade Wilson, his signature snark leaving his already ambiguous Looping status as vague as ever. "Sure, Hela knows about the Infinity Gauntlet enough to point out a fake in Odin's vault. But to launch a full scale collect-a-thon in 1963? Sorry, but the only way Hela would be doing that would be if she wound up in bed with-"

"We get it." Barked Jane Foster, Thunder Goddess of Midgard. "And for Thor's sake, we're doing our best not to bring up Thor's brother-in-law for the Loop while he gets re-aquainted with how twisted the world has become."

"Hiding the big bad's identity when we already know who he is, eh?" Wade wheezed to his much more respectable peers. "I see..."

"Look, your movie made money in the Hub, Director's doing a film for Sonic for better or worse, so we decided to put you on the team for the Loop so you could shut up about your tree-forsaken flick!" argued Peter Parker from the other side of the table. "I don't want to be the buzzkill about it but that doesn't mean-"

"Relax, best bef." retorted Wade, kicking his feet on the table as he proudly declared. "I'm just saying if he stays relatively docile until up and popping in after some rando's villainous scheme for whatever reason, Light owes me a 20 dollar fill-up for every flavor of KFC." Failing to realize that such a heart attack waiting to happen wouldn't be possible for another decade or so.

Carol Danvers could only stare in befuddlement and confusion at the Merc with a Mouth's usual brand of commentary for so long before changing the subject entirely: "So, who's idea was it to bring the normie?"

All eyes went to Stark and Jennifer, the latter of which being in awe of her prescence in the Sanctum Santorum right next to Bruce Banner who was in a twitter war with the Hulk (Hulk using Bruce's right hand on an oversized 'Fun-Puter'.) about a movie they saw one day. "Look, I was just as jumped about the situation as you were. Doc kinda dragged her along when he pulled me over for this little... impromptu staff meeting. Don't worry, she's not staying over or anything."

"Trust me, you won't even know I'm here." bluffed Jennifer to her onlookers. "If we're being honest, I'm just happy I can be this far away from my ex."

"Goin' your own way, eh?" glanced Carol with a chuckle to her voice. "I can relate to that."

Jennifer blushed at the compliment. "I don't rub that way, Marv."

"Me neither." Carol shrugged as a small tabby-cat hopped onto her lap. "I think Goose here is a dead giveaway."

This gained the attention of one Natasha Romanov "You brought your cat?"

"What can I say, sweeped a round of the recent Endgame expansion of Varient Feige with no one else Awake except the Doctor as my Anchor." Gloated Carol with an added arrogance. "Purple Man, in case you're wondering."

"So you're celebrating by bringing in your hairball machine?" Strange eyerolled. "Well, I'll admit... your little..."

"Goose."

"Goose... is cute and all, but there's still the topic of Doctor Light's ex-wife sitting right next to one of our founding faces." glared Strange to Danvers before refocusing his sight onto Jennifer. "So could you go ahead fill us in on what's going on between you two?"

Jennifer nodded and began her tale: "I took up an internship at the Ministry of Science. All I did was file papers, fetch coffee, nothing too special, basic intern stuff. It paid the bills both in the pocketbook and college report card but it was when I was sent in to record a pitch meeting on potential augmentations for modern robotics. One Thomas Light with his pitch for the implimentation of NetNavi-grade Ai and the other being the future Professor Albert Wily's Double Gear."

"Double Gear?" Stark raised his brow and leaned with added attention. "Didn't that drive a wedge in the whole Light-Wily relationship."

"It could have with the sitch being an either-or scenario at first..." Jennifer continued. "But then I spoke up about the dangers of the Double Gear without the proper moral judgement of an independantly thinking soul, argued how a NetNavi could use the Double Gear for the good of mankind if given such a mechanical form as what was being designed by the two good doctors."

Stark tugged at the collar of his suit. "So they both got greenlit, right?"

"And I came aboard as Doctor Light's Assistant..." Jennifer finished. "and then some..."

"Sounds like there was some major Hoopla over in Light Labs, eh." Bruce spoke with a coy tone in his voice as he finished typing up a rebuttal to Hulk's criticism. "Lucky dog."

"So how come you're not Mrs. Light?" Stark asked. "No wedding, no word of kids, nothing?"

"I used my mother's maiden name to keep myself out of the way of the presstitute media." clarified Jennifer, a look of irritation in her eyes. "We held our wedding in private, and vowed to raise any kids as far away from the public eye as we can manage while working to give them a relatively normal life."

"If you were that dedicated to prevent any potential kids from growing up into spoiled white parasites... a certain actress comes to mind." Wade loomed in with intrigue. "What could've Johnson'd it up for you two?"

"A miscarriage." Jennifer clutched at her shirt. "One in an epidemic. CNN called it the largest mass abortion in history, so devastating that Roe v. Wade was quietly overturned not long after."

"That's not the only problem." Strange lamented. "Right when the incident hit, anyone over the age of ten were ensnared in an enigmatic miasma whilst those under the age of ten seemed to have seen time rewind an entire decade."

"Time Shenanagans, that reeks of some of that Angel Grove Juice Bar mouth." commented Stark. "But what about Rolinda?"

"She did make it past the first trimester." Jennifer reminisced. "A sweetheart with a fighting spirit, she was closing in on entering the third on November when..."

"Don't tell me..." Stark raised a finger and guessed: "Sequel Time?"

Jennifer nodded back, shedding a tear for the eldest daughter she never had. "Andy thankfully made it out into the world as our firstborn but by the day we brought him home... the damage was done. No matter what we tried to work out the kinks over the years, I just couldn't have it in me to love him the way I did when we met. It was when he first held Molly, he called her Roll."

"Oof..." Stark winced at Jennifer's bleakened expression. "Either a slip of the tongue or..."

"...A rude Awakening." Thor's words allowing the tension of the room to grow far more palpable than before. "I suppose that was the final straw?"

"And I was allowed to get a dog for myself just as he was free to get one of his own." Jennifer recapped. "And the kids, they can hardly remember the last time they saw their father. Always off at work building these reploids, and Molly hasn't even gotten a single glance at Thomas since the trip to the hospital."

"Not even a phone call?" Bruce inquired to the soon-to-be former Toy Museum VP. "Can't you at least give Molly a look at the guy before the big trip?"

"I could, but he'll be as new as the States are going to be after being away for how long..." Jennifer pondered for a moment before slumping back into her chair in disheartening realization of the weight of the events that led her to the Job he was set to leave within the week. "Three years..."

Jennifer began to silently sob as the room grew ever more silent until Bruce Banner reacted accordingly to the Hulk upending the conversation they were having by outright blocking Bruce from his account. "Screw you too, you big green asshole!"

[edit] Night

Stephen Strange sent Jennifer back to her soon-to-be former Tokyo home with Stark staying an hour longer for further discussion for handling the Loop at hand. The day rolled on with little further fanfare, and it wasn't until during the evening hours that a familiar prescence helped to move the fable forward.

Pacing to and fro throughout the house, Amu was clinging onto her phone with a worried expression on her face as an equally sized figure walked out of her room. "Something wrong, Amu-chan?" Ran groggily asked in her pajamas.

Amu nodded back "It's Su. She wanted to go for a stroll to get things at the corner store and with how late it is, I fear she may end up running into trouble."

"Not a problem, She's got the same type of Force voodoo we do to pick up on anything life throws at us." Ran reassured with her trademark pep and smirk. "And besides, there's still Jotaro... also our baseline teacherguy Tsukasa but mainly Jotaro!"

"But Jotaro rarely picks up if ever." Amu lamented. "It's not like they're gossipping about whether or not we should have a sleepover tomorrow."

-ILP-

Believe it or not, Su was striking a decent conversation with Jotaro on that very topic. Or at least whoever was using Jotaro's phone to communicate anonymously.

"Spin the bottle?" asked Rex. "That sounds like fun, Buzz."

"Just keep it quiet, Rex." Buzz stated. "Jotaro could wake at any moment."

But Jotaro's eyes opened and he stared to his phone to find it in the claws of an apparently inanimate T-Rex with a series of texts discussing a sleepover to see their American friends off.

"I'm as well Anchored as your sheriff, you know." Said Jotaro as he backed away outside the room. "Continue the negotiations as usual."

As he went out of the room and closed the door behind him, the rest of the toys stirred with relative relief. "Look who saw more than one movie."

"Hey, we're not out of the woods yet." stated Woody. "There's still the task of making her belive she's talking to Jotaro, that's the key to making this last week in Japan something to write home about."

-ILP-

Don't do anything too dangerous. I will be watching.

To Su, that was a very Jotaro way to greenlight the sleepover. So it clicked, leaving the former guardian character with an added spring in her step as she headed baco from her trip to the corner store when out of the blue...

Bump!

Right into Teddie who looked strikingly similar to Tadase at this stage in his life. "Owie... Sorry about that, Su, didn't expect to see you on my laundromat route."

"It's okay, Teddie." smiled Su. "I was doing some late night errands, too-desu! But enough about me, that bag could kill you!"

Exaggeration aside, whilst any grown man could carry a full bag of laundry back and forth through town with no pressure, the weight of the bag is quite unbearable for ten-year-old Teddie to lug around on his own, so Su helped to lift the bag of towels, shirts, socks and undergarments alongside him. "Thanks." He huffed.

"Anything for a friend-desu." Su beemed back when a curious sound started to be more apparent the sound of wings flapping together. "Tori de?"

Teddie's eyes darted to the sky to find a winged humanoid being draped in white and gold over a red and black carapace clumsily descending into an alleyway sidewalk, stumbling but then finding immediate balance in the exact same instance.

As if something was showing him the ropes of flight.

"That's a Kaiju!" Teddie gasped from the other side of the road. Su takes his hand and begins to give chase. "Su, are you trying to get us mowed down when we're closing in on puberty if not already starting!?"

"It could be the last Nobody-desu." Su rebutted. "Amu wouldn't let this slip and niether will I! Now come on!" They hid under a park bench a few feet away and and listened in on the kaiju's actions. More notably, a conversation it was having with a short fellow in a trenchcoat and red cap with a few other similarly dressed folks behind him.

"I take it this new form is to your liking?" asked the short figure up front. "I put a lot of hard work into the articulation of your wings as well as wingspan, talons, and of course, your personal vanity."

"It is magnificent, Finster. You have my gratitude." the creature gloated before his onlookers. "I finally look the part of the Shinigami I truly am!"

"You are most certainly welcome, Kira!" The name sent a shiver down Su's spine, Kira the Savior, the mass murderer of criminals known through all of Japan and the world? THAT Kira?! She could not believe her eyes and ears and yet, there he was gloating about his newfound form and its splendor while they hid in fear of being caught.

"I hope this can be the beginning of a beautiful friendship." beemed the short one.

"Just don't try to obsctuct my reign of judgement those pesky Power Rangers, you're free to call your actions whatever you like." sneered a shrill sounding voice from beside the short figure conversing with Kira. Su pulled out her phone and took a few pictures, desparate for help in this hour of need.

-ILP-

Soichiro Yagami hated sitting here, waiting for his son to be cleared of the accusation, the notion that he was Kira. His hair has been disheveled somewhat and his chin started to show some stubble, it was overall a disheartening situation for the Detective Superintendent of the NPA. Under his subconscious suspicions, Light asked the sluth L to imprison him on the grounds of him possibly being Kira. And thus, he has been locked up for six days, six hours and six minutes straight with no hope of release when late one night when late one night...

"Mister Yagami, Watari has just contacted me."

He heard his voice, L's voice, Ryuzaki as he's known to the task force. "Yes, is it good news?! Bad News?!"

"It turns out that Kira's been spotted in person." Ryuzaki informed to Soichiro. "Turns out that Deputy Director-General Kitamura has died under the supervision of Aizawa's group in roughly the same span of ten minutes in which the anonymous source caught Kira in the act. Take a wild guess as to how Kitamura died."

Soichiro stood upward. "A Heart Attack?"

Ryuzaki nodded back. "Yes, not just that. But one after the other, more heart attacks are being reported from the police on a worldwide scale."

"Turns out Kira was only resting." beemed another voice, young and eager. "But now, he's out punishing criminals again and he's joined up with THE Rita Repulsa!"

"Is that true, Matsuda?" asked Soichiro. "Then that means my son..." He sunk his head with lament. "I shouldn't be happy that innocent people have been killed but at least Light's name will finally be cleared." but then came another thought. "Wait, knowing Ryuzaki, this won't be enough to clear him."

And with that, all eyes were on Ryuzaki. "Well... He's in the gray."

Matsuda's smile wiedened. "Did you hear what he just said, Chief?"

"Yeah, it's a hell of a lot better than being completely guilty." Sighed Soichiro. "Thank god."

"I'm sure as grays go, he's a shade closer to being cleared!" Matsuda voiced to his hopes before reaching the microphone for Light's cell. "Let's go tell him!"

"No, Matsuda!" Ryuzaki passionately slapped at Matsuda's hand before quickly regaining his composure. "Erm, please don't, Mister Matsuda. We shouldn't tell him about this until we confirm that the creature is in fact Kitamura."

Matsuda slumped back into his seat as Ryuzaki contacted Aizawa with his phone. "I suppose your group is perusing the creature?"

"Yes." spoke Aizawa on the other end. "Mogi's group has taken flight, too."

"Excellent, can you patch me over to those who are airborne?" asked Ryuzaki. "I intend for them to ask Kira questions now that he's shown his face. We need to see if he truly is the deceased officer in question."

"Will do."

-ILP-

Not content with just snapping away aimlessly at the ongoing conversation, Su chose to instead record footage and stream it live for Amu to see with anyone who was awake regardless of who was Awake.

"Now, there is the topic of how you do your signature killing sprees." mentioned the short one. "I already know from your demonstration last Boxing Day when you did away with those FBI agents, but is it necessary now that you have the souls of your victims coursing through your veins."

"I've written plenty of names in advance." Shrugged Kira with a smug smirk gracing his face. "Wouldn't want the police saying that criminal death rates plummeted when this one former investigator perished."

"Well, you could rested your pen for a spell," a taller figure with a monocle pointed out "See to it that at least one of those spying on you could end up getting framed by L."

"I could have... But I want to have some fun, force L to surrender his name up close and personal, Babbu." Kira responded. "That way, I can watch as he dies before the god of the new world."

"A practical solution as expected, Kira." smiled the short one. "I know you'll be a valuable asset to our ambitions."

"Same." Kira grinned back and shook hands with him. "And I thank you, Finster, for your initial collaborations last Christmas."

"No, thank you." Finster bowed.

"With your superior intellect and our cunning tactics, it shall spell the end of those pesky Power Rangers!" the shrill voiced figure cackled In the night when they all heard mumbling from behind. Glancing back at a nearby bench, Kira spots two sets of eyes peeking from the shadows underneath. "I can see you hiding there, you know. And you will pay for such spying."

-ILP-

Terra could not believe what he was seeing on his phone, especially after all this time he spent in Japan. A group of Power Rangers villains together with a creature claiming to be this Kira that's been picking off the prison population of Japan these past several months, and Su managed to stumble across them out of sheer happenstance?! "Aqua, Su's been pinned! We need to help her!"

"I'll call Amu." Aqua piped back as she scrambled for her phone. "You gather up everyone in the house."

"Got it!" Terra then promptly darted to the third floor where the Kids had slept during their days in Japan. "Guys, get up! Trouble!"

[edit] This is the Ultimate Showdown

"Don't you just love it when you have a captive audience to entertain?" Sneered Kira to his colleagues for the time being.

"And it's got a camera phone, too!" Growled a beastly winged ape clad in golden armor. "Think I should bash in the phone before their still developing skulls?"

"Bash in Neither!"

The group turned around to find one of the robed figures undoing her cloak to reveal a silver-eyed huntress with reddish-black hair and clad in a black ensamble weilding a mechanical axe she used to rain fire down upon the fellons both figuratively and literally through her built-in flamethrower. Naturally this had Squatt and Baboo scrambling for cover while Zedd and Rita summoned a row of Tengas to shield them.

"Don't just stand there, Goldar!?" scowled Rita to the winged ape. "Cut that thot into ribbons!"

"A THOT!?" Exclaimed the huntress in shock. "You really want to call a mother of two darling girls a Thot!?"

"Those poor orphans." Sneered Goldar as he lept in the air and brandished his sword, swooping in for a strong thrust which the huntress countered with a swing of her axe, a dance of axe and saber promptly ensued as Su and Teddie held off a small collection of Putties by means of clashing at the Z on their chest to make them explode. (Su discovered such a weakness by chucking her purse at one of them.)

"You fight well for such a pretty face." Complimented Goldar, his blade pushing against hers. "And do you have a sweet axe or what?"

"Oh, thank you." blushed the silver-eyed huntress. "Just installed a fireworks bazooka onto ol' Burning Eclipse, built her myself, y'know?"

"Naming your weapon?" Goldar nodded in bemusement. "I suppose you're from the planet Remnant?"

"Right in the down under." the huntress then stomped at the ape's foot to break his focus before dealing a sweeping kick, knocking him flat on his wings.

Whilst that was going on, Teddie and Su were fending off the remaining Putties with all sorts of tricks, Su swinging about a frying pan and Teddie headbutting in his familiar bear suit to finish off the last two much to the intrigue of an ever observant Kira who saw weariness in the children.

"It's getting late, isn't it, children?" sneered Kira. "But I'm afraid those faceless mooks were merely the appetizer." And with that, Kira re-aimed his focus to a nearby street cleaner who promptly started jittering in his shoes as if something was crawling was crawling into his skin.

"W-What are you doing to him-desu!?" Su shivered.

"Using his mind, body and soul to deliver the main course." Kira smirked to the children as the street sweep pulled out a swiss army knife against the children. "Do mind the knife, he's a few days into his parole."

"Parole..." uttered Teddie, a shiver sent down his spine. "You mean he's a convict!?"

"Eyup, fresh from the local prison." Kira joked to the children as the sweep prepared to lunge forth. "That's not a problem is it?" the two children began doing their best to dodge as Kira refocused his gaze to Goldar's losing battle with the huntress. "I could give the crook a heart attack and be done with it if you tell me your name."

"And risk you going back on your word and killing me in his place?" the Huntress sniped back to the demon. "Sorry, but I want to live long enough to see my girl off to Beacon, thank you very much."

Kira charged against the huntress only to collide with Goldar after she lept over the shinigami made flesh. Staggering back up with an irritated expression on his face, Kira glanced to another hooded figure. "Be thankful you got to see her face, Kira." the hooded figure threw a punch to reveal a wristworn apperatus. "Because that's a luxury you won't get from me! LET'S ROCKET!"

"3-3-5"

Enveloped in a burning red polymer with a horizontal white stripe on the front of the chest adorned with squares of different colors, the robed figure's face was hidden away with a equally crimson helmet.

"As I live and breathe." spoke another figure, adorned with a visor upon his pulsating face. The crimson caviler then brandished a drill like saber which he used to clash against the masked mass of exposed muscles as it parried with his staff. "The Red Space Ranger, a pleasure to finally see you in the flesh."

"Can it, Zedd!" scowled the soldier beneath his helmet, choosing to continue clashing about courageously. All whilst the children stashed themselves inside a dumpster to hide themselves away from the controlled convict as Kira seeked them out as the current puppet's eye in the sky. "Come out and play..."

Unbeknownst to them, Su and Teddiw were sitting in the bear suit to protect themselves from potential diseases that were biding their time, waiting for a host to infest and spread from.

"At least we're wearing clothes this time-desu..." frowned Su, harkening back to the first time she found herself in the mascot costume. "Do you think he's gone?"

"I'm not so sure..." Teddie worried. "If we peek out of the suit, Kira'd spot us for sure and god forbid if its the Second Kira with the eyes."

"Better to bear the risk head on than sit by doing nothing." Su pointed out. "What we need is a plan-desu."

"Okay, fine." huffed Teddie. "But keep it quiet, alright?! Do you think they'd be thick-heade enough to ignore yammering voices coming from a dumpster!?"

As if on cue, a sort of telekinetic force lifted the lid from the dumpster and the head from the bear suit, the two children glanced to the convict and the creature controlling him, afraid of what could follow next when out of the blue: "Leave those kids alone!"

Kira did a double take as did the convicted crook who found himself footstooled by a leaping Su and hit his head against the bumpster and died of the resulting concussion...

But the thing that had Kira's undivided attention was a creature not unlike himself, a crimson x-mark adorning his chiseled face. An ivory glow to each chunk of muscle-covering carapace hid how the draconic creature's golden flesh turned bright burning red across his arms. The only sign that he was human being his pants and loafers, a much needed reminder to civilians when there are electrical spires growing from your back. "I've been waiting for you."

"Hmph, so you have." sneered Kira. "And I must say, what a difference six months makes."

"I know, right? You'd be surprised what having eleven of your colleagues stuffed inside can do to a man." the new challenger sniped back. "But I'll spare you the details, Kira, how's that soul jar treatment turning out for you?"

"Quite swimmingly, to be honest." Kira answered, his gaze now aimed at Su as she checked the crook for a pulse. "In fact, I had just used a stalker of mine to deal a fatal concussion to a child molester that the police set on parole where he can find himself in the company of both a pizza and a hot dog." His fingure aimed at Su and then Teddie. "Seriously, I should have killed him on the spot!"

"Then why couldn't you when he was set loose?" glared the mutant challenger. "Because you put yourself behind bars?"

Kira merely raised his brow. "Is that why I couldn't reach him?" He then chuckled to himself. "Clever Light Yagami, a strong sense of justice just like his father but cursed with an ego so brittle and frail, it makes Waluigi seem as galavant as Goku by comparison."

-ILP-

.Goku Joke.

-ILP-

"The power of a Shinigami is not one to be trifled with, Detective." Kira added. "The only reason you're here is because I wanted more of a challenge."

"Challenge!?" snarled Kira's apparent enemy. "So all we are to you are pawns that can be used and discarded?" Kira said nothing, opting instead to brace for eventually impact as his opponent thrust a fist to his face, beginning their battle.

Not to be undone, Rita launches a Black Gear at a telephone pole. Instead of blowing the pole to smetherines as conventional logic would dictate, this gear became a current of electromagnetic energy coursing all the way to the abandoned warehouse district before manifesting a giant fire-coated creature. "I'M ON FIIIRREEEE!!!!"

"A Titan!" the huntress exclaimed. "I can't let it get far!"

"Neither can we!" added the warrior in red. "We need Astro Megazord power now!"

That phrase made the children lean in total awe while the huntress just stood there dumbfounded "Mega... what now?"

As if on cue, an enormous spaceship the size of a football stadium descended from up on high and shined its headlights on the flaming figure. "Now all the Morphin Grid knows you and Rita are in kahoots, Kira!"

The demon and the witch scowled as a cyan colored techno-organic elephant circled the spaceship, both of which respectively transforming into the impromptu shield and sword of a giant mecha.

"Two different Zords from two different sets of Power Ranger Pests..." cringed Rita "I think I'm gonna be sick."

"A giant suit of powered armor?" the huntress glared at the Megazord with annoyance. "You could tie up the creature's legs and trip them to the ground and yet you seal yourselves in a tin can to tackle such titans?!"

"Dehumanizing and demoralizing opinions on Megazords?" Kira peeped with intrigue. "Definately a woman of Remnant." No sooner was Kira promptly pummeled by his punctual opponent, taking some blows before clutching one fist to then launch yet another for his foe his foe to catch in return. "I thought this was an investigation mission."

"It is." Huffed the challenger. "Aprehending and arresting you is phase one, once you've answered all our questions in a testimony, we will settle on nothing less than your execution."

"An amazing fantasy to say the least." Kira sneered to his opponent. "That implies you can capture me in my current form."

"HAND OF FATE!"

Kira's smug demeanor was rewarded with a flaming fist to the face, prompting all eyes to re-focus onto an armored Terra on his Keyblade Glider as he pointed to a fleet of five gigantic vehicles and five mechanical dinosaurs. "You're not gonna believe who we have inside the Zords, I know I didn't when I ran into these dorks."

Above the dinosaur mecha floated a corresponding creature of varying forms. Whilst the -- had an armored dragon perched atop its head, a near completely mechanized wolf, an enormous phoenix with multiple pairs of wings, a voluptuous caped maiden in a red bodysuit and helmet, and a gigantic golden insectoid.

Not to be outdone, the vehicles also had their own corresponding creature hovering above. An armored angel adorned with a myriad of golden wings levitated above --- just as a --- had a similarly armored Valkyrie in cerulian perched atop its roof, A blue dragon creature clad in flamelike armor, a gigantic falcon perched upon a ---, a yellow-shelled figure adorned with a myriad of drills rounded off the assortment -- as they .

"The digivolution is up and running! Digisee, Digihear, Digiknow what's comin'? Our Digidestiny starts today! Let me hear you say! DIGIMON!"

"Hoo! Even I felt nerdy after that." added the Chartreuse-clad senshi.

"Uh, oh." chimed Squatt and Baboo.

"Here's trouble." added Goldar.

"Great!" complained Rita. "Now I am gonna be sick!"

Finster merely sighed in lament. "There goes our toy deal..."

"Blast!" scowled Kira. "I haven't prepared for a full house. We need a grand stage for all to see the god of new world!"

"So you're retreating, then?" a voice boomed from above, belonging to a floating figure draped in flowing fabrics and adorned with metallic shoulderpads and a steel helmet that had silver strings poking out of the back. "How very cowardly of you, Kira."

"Just for now." Kira spat back. "We need to prepare for the full assault."

"All you're doing is indulging his cowardice, Wizeman." sneered the combatant. "He knows he can't see our names so he's running away."

"Yes, but only to come up with a much grander attack later on, One worthy of my services." Wizeman remarked. "As acting chairman of the United Allegiance of Evil, I seek nothing less than the finest foes willing to topple the mightiest heroes of the universe."

"But how are you even here?" Terra stood in shock. "You couldn't come and go between this world and Nightmare like you're doing now."

"And yet, I can." sneered Wizeman. "And I have Doctor Banner to thank for that."

A shiver went down his spine as Terra watched Wizeman drape his cloak around his allies before whooshing off into the night sky. "Come back here!"

"Terra-san, not now!" protested the mutated challenger. "It's Kira we need to worry about for now, all Wizeman's done tonight is act as an escort to Kira and his entourage."

"You want him alive, don't you." lamented Terra to which the mutant nodded.

"A quick question-desu." Su raised her hand to the creature. "Who exactly are you?"

[edit] Chapter 16

Having gone full preteen angst and locking herself in her bedroom, Bonnie is worried about what's to happen in her next Loop where she is to live out her Baseline without her childhood friend Andy. Speaking of which, he turns up to ease her in and tell her that it'll be alright if they are separated by the baseline.

[edit] Breakfast

Morning came and not a moment too soon. After the whole commotion with Kira, the first thing the Kids needed was a rewarding breakfast for enduring Terra's wake-up call. But the last thing they needed were more names and faces to memorize.

"Summer Rose." spoke a woman in black babydoll lace. "Top Huntress from Remnant."

"Yeah, I could tell that just by how... loaded the Axe is." Amu added "Shouldn't that be..."

"Nah, Crescent Rose is still at home with my daughters." stressed Summer. "My little Ruby's been eying the ol' girl since she first got a glimpse of her in action."

"I'll bet she'll be real familiar with her when she's big enough." smiled Bonnie before leaning over to Andy. "Looper talk for baseline."

"I am well aware of the terms, thank you very much." Summer stated to the youngest Looper in the room. "You've really got to work on hiding what you know, Bon. A Loop can only last so long, you know."

"So, there are Loopers in your life, too?" Jennifer asked as she served a plate of waffles to her.

"Eyup." Summer smiled, picking up her utensils to cut into her breakfast. "And I just so happen to be married to one. He says my odds of joining him are slim, though."

"Locked out, huh?" Jennifer sat back down. "I can relate to that."

"And I hear you moved to divorce your husband right when he Awoke, is that right?" Summer asked, with a chunk of waffle in her cheeks. "That sucks, me and Taiyang cherish every moment we share together, we relish in every bite of each other's home cooking, and don't even get me started on-"

"Ah! Ah!" Jennifer pointed a loose fork at Summer. "Not in front of Andy or any of the kids, please."

"What, I was just gonna bring up how we hunt together and keep ourselves in shape. For example:" Summer opened up her corset to reveal a flat and firm stomach with lightly toned abdominals. All who were in attendance reacted to the surprise in their own way, some burst into laughter, others blushed in befuddlement and/or arousal. "Could be firmer, but then Ruby came into our lives and had to go into Mom mode. Still, 26 inches aint that bad."

"Not that bad." Jennifer exclaimed with shock. "It's amazing!"

"Yeah, to an earthling." Summer reminded. "You could give hunting a shot if you like. Wouldn't want a pot-belly staining your figure like with Tommy-Boy here."

"My word!" panicked Jennifer's flustered ex-husband. "At least have some tact about such comments!" They all shared a laugh as they continued to consume their meal...

Whereas in a hotel someplace, Tony Stark had been thrust into the investigation of the largest mass murder case in recorded history with the enigmatic supersluth L staring back at him. "So... Ryuzaki-san."

"Yes, Mister Stark. It is an honor to meet you." Ryuzaki stirred the sugar in his tea. "Even if your public prescence does endanger our entire team on top of yourself."

"I'm a freakin' Avenger." Stark replied. "I've endured worse."

"Then you know Doctor Banner." Ryuzaki remarked. "And how similar his situation is to one of our own."

"Really?" Tony raised a brow.

"In fact, this is how we first encountered Wizeman." Ryuzaki spoke as he sipped his tea. "Up and coming crime boss and Ire of Kira's existence. How he got one of the Kiras on his side is beyond me but it shows how cunning the astral criminal can be."

"Speaking of I can't help but notice your flight gear." Tony's left index finger aimed at the glass-framed helmet. "No doubt, that's some way to hide your faces with a hint of Power Ranger flare. Take it there's some Iron Man in there."

"You have a good eye." Ryuzaki complimented "The alchemic amplifiers from Amestris cloud our names from the second Kira's eyes while the hud screens take influence from your iconic invention."

"Hold on, Amestris?" Tony gestured to the sluth. "As in that... tectonic shifts and electromagic shuffling of atoms... they call it 'alchemy'?"

"I thought I asked for Iron Man, what's Batman doing here?" joked Ryuzaki. "In all seriousness, Mr Stark, the fact that Kira hasn't seen you come into play is a blessing. If you get too close up to Kira, he will not hessitate to kill you."

"Yeah, not gonna lie, no secret identity whatsoever, full public figure, rivalry with Elon Musk, whole shebang out in the open for Kira to see." Stark lamented. "That's a pickle."

"It could be worse," Watari pointed out. "Kira could stuff the souls of your comrades inside of you to have you mutate on the spot like with what happened on Boxing Day."

"Yeah, I already met the proof on Banner's Gab account." Stark pointed to the fellow with the black necktie. "Heard he helped out with Hulk against MODOK and Wizeguy with Strange pulling a repeat pend out of his hat."

"I know." Ryuzaki reminded the founding Avenger. "I was observing the Yagami household when I heard of the incident."

-ILP-

"Get out!" Bonnie's eyes widened with delight. "Really?"

"Yep! Yep! Yep!" chimed Su. "And it was Jotaro-san who pitched the day-desu!"

"A slimber party?" peeped Pinoke. "Well, I'll be!"

"You told Uncle Joe about this, right?" asked Andy.

-ILP-

"As a matter of fact, he did!" Joseph boasted to the team of investigations. "Even invited Jolyne."

"Family man, eh?" Aizawa smirked. "Same deal over here."

"But how are we gonna fit everyone?" Riley pandered.

"She's right, Joy." added Fear. "Not even the Stark condo could account for all the friends they've made in Japan."

"Well, since Joseph will more than likely spoil the surprise, I may as well inform you all now..." Ryuzaki mentioned before asking: "How many of you are tired of our current routine."

-ILP-

"Not a fan of Hotel Jumping." Summer sighed. "Prices vary, living conditions are all over the map and truth be told, it makes me miss home even more."

"I know the feeling." Jennifer lamented. "You're more than happy to stay with us when you step by Earth."

"Thank you, Mrs. Light." Summer smiled. "I'm sure you'll raise your children as well as I do."

"Speaking of Invitations," Andy worried. "Who do we call up?"

"Everybody!" Bonnie cheered.

"Are you out of your mind?!" Jennfer protested. "I just used up all the pancake mix to feed seven added guests, what makes you think I can make room for dozens of them within hours of a school day?"

"You won't have to." Jotaro interjected. "Apparently Gramps has already got us covered."

-ILP-

"You're building a secret base for us?" Matsuda exclaimed with his eyes shimmering.

"I have been building." Joseph grinned. "Since the bus jacking in December."

"That's incredible." Mogi bellowed to the Realitor. "So that's why you didn't mention this Hotel to the Chief. He's probably been told to bring Light over there instead of here."

"A clever deduction, Mogi-san." Ryuzaki congratulated. "However, he is going to make a few extra stops to my instructions on the way before greeting our incoming guests."

"He's still in the gray, huh?" Matsuda lamented. "What a crock... Just a thought, what can we expect out of this new homebase?"

-ILP-

"We're gonna go to an enormous skyscraper!" Bonnie cheered with childish glee.

"But only for tonight." Jotaro reminded. "Knowing Gramps, it's probably to test it out for our hunt for Kira."

"The big meanie-head that's killin' all the crooks in the world?" Bonnie tilted her head with added curiosity. "Does that mean we're helping the grown-ups catch him?"

"We caught him once." Summer Rose stated to her hosts.

"You got lucky once." Jotaro rebutted. "No doubt he'd do his damnedest to keep that from happening again."

-ILP-

"And you believe that shunting us into a skyscraper is the best way to find Kira?" Riley sniped back. "Even when we already know who Kira was."

"That was the initial Kira," Ryuzaki recounted to the American juvenile. "The fact that we're allowing this Slumber Party to unfold in the new headquarters is for the purpose of finding the Second Kira."

"There are other motives, of course." Watari added. "Such as seeking new recruits for the investigation not counting Power Rangers of course..."

Riley gestured to the sluth. "But what about the dozens of Kids that Bonnie will likely invite over?"

"We'll have them sign non-disclosure agreements." Ryuzaki Answered.

-ILP-

"So we can't say a word about where we're going?" Dia asked Jotaro to which he shook his head.

"Cool, so we're like spies on the hunt for Kira!" Beemed Bonnie.

"Not gonna happen." Jennifer stared to her charges, leaving Bonnie in a pouty-faced slump. "But we can at least check what's available alongside what you want."

Bonnie leaned in with intrigue. "Really?"

"Yeah, I have the blueprint for the building in my phone as we speak!" Summer held up her screen phone and sure enough, there was a blueprint of a large skyscraper with pre-listed details beside each floor plan. "So what do you want that we can fetch in the 7 hours of school you've got coming up?"

"We want a big ol' bed for all of us to sit and laugh in!" Bonnie boasted. "Ice cream, pizza, Pringles of every flavor!"

-ILP-

"State of the art crime computers, intercom system connected across the facility." confirmed Ryuzaki to his subordinates. "Even a pair of helicopters hidden on the roof."

-ILP-

"A stage for karaoke with a movie screen in the back," Bonnie specified. "And above all else!"

-ILP-

"Security Cameras in every room." Ryuzaki finished.

"Again with the spying!?" Matsuda stood in shock.

"Well, there will be a floor for Amane so you won't hear her complain for quite a while." answered Ryuzaki, ignoring the question completely.

"But this is a violation of human rights, like with what you've done with Light!" added Matsuda.

"With the creature from last night all but confirmed to be the First Kira, there's still a Kira still out in the open that can kill just by seeing one's face." Ryuzaki rightfully pointed out. "No doubt if Amane isn't this Second Kira, there will be a chance to sneak in among the guest list."

"Makes sense." huffed Mogi. "But what are you going to tell the children?"

"Simple." Ryuzaki concluded. "That those in attendance are helping to test the facility's surveillance systems and have a slim chance of joining the Kira investigation."

[edit] Resolve

"Cool, so you're gonna get a spy name?" Ran asked.

"An Alias" Andy corrected.

"Well, can't exactly use the name Summer Rose, can I?" Joked their guest. "Or perhaps you'd think I can handle the risk of leaving my husband to pick out a cheesy Shakespeare quote to put on my epitaph?"

"That's not out of the realm of possibility." added Jotaro. "Kira is every bit as dangerous as the media spin him out to be. Even Fox News is calling him a threat to humanity that has the potential to bring about the end of history."

"Count me in."

All eyes fell to Amu. "If Kira's a threat to the health of this reality, I won't just sit by as he picks away at humanity."

"Goes double for me." Andy interjected. "I don't want to live in a world where some pingas picks out who lives and who dies."

"Andy, I'm telling you: No!" his mother protested. "I've lost two children before. I can't lose you, too!"

"But what's to stop Kira from stooping down to simple school bullies?" Pinocchio objected back. "They have a chance to grow up into criminals, y'know?"

"I was dragged here because I got mixed up in Looper business that ended up taking all of you along for the ride." Andy recounted to his mother. "No doubt, Mister Kujo's idea for a sleepover somehow got us in the same sitch again with Kira."

Jennifer sat in silent worry for her son as Summer put a hand on her shoulder. "I know it can be tough, but he's clung to a looper long enough to want to help make a difference. I hear from what members of the greater Looping community managed to congregate here is that his Looping potential is incredibly high."

"I know." Andy spoke. "I've got close enough ties to my Anchor to start Looping at any time, whenever that might be."

"And me makes three!" Bonnie smiled, standing up off her seat. "If anybody's gonna put a stop to that deadly jerkface, I wanna be at least a help to the one to do it! Mainly because I want a cool spy name, too! ♪"

"Oh, Bonnie." Jennifer rolled her eyes at the innocent child and her wistful desire with a grin of sympathy for youth.

-ILP-

"If you truly are willing to commit to such a risky burden as taking out one of the greatest threats humanity has faced thus far." Ryuzaki stressed to his new colleague. "While it is muted with your Looping Soul, you're technically still putting your still-developing life on the line."

"I can take it." Riley smiled back. "Even if I wasn't Awake and I still wound up mixed up in this, I'd still help because it's the right thing to do."

Tony glanced to the supersluth and added: "Look at it this way, Loops like this rarely come around that have frequent challenges to deal with. If anything, stir-crazy Loopers like me and her openly welcome it."

Ryuzaki took a few moments to process such reasoning, simply sitting in his seat in thought before saying: "I see."

"Then it's settled!" Joseph concluded with his arm wrapped around the girl. "Welcome aboard-"

-ILP-

"...the Kira Task Force!" Summer's congratulatory cheer fired up the children to no foreseeable end.

"Last one to school has to clean the underside of Kujo-sensei's desk!" chimed Ran to the other children as they dashed out the door, eager to face their next adventure.

[edit] Arrival at the Base

Once the schoolyard guardians arrived at their last day of school before graduation, All the adults scrambled to get the necessary consumables for the sleepover. The exceptions being Jotaro, Stark, and all active staff members of the Kira Task Force who had more important things to worry about. Jotaro was analyzing the evidence laid out on Kira's disturbing bodycount, Tony was starting to come up with a plan to counter Kira with his fellow Avengers, Soichiro was picking up the two suspected Kiras (His Son included) and L was contemplating the mentality Kira went through to deem a monstrous form necessary for his Crusade.

Hours passed, things were collected and the children came home to find a bright yellow van parked in front of the Hinamori household. "It's a school bus!" chimed Molly to her preschool playmate Ami. "We 'mericans use them to pick up all our classmates from all over town!"

"Like how Mama Jenny drives us to day care every day!" Ami added before solumly frowning "Does that mean you're going away?"

"Not yet?" Molly peeped back. "We'd need an aeroplane for that, and it ain't due until tomorrow."

"Then whatsit doin' here?" Ami asked.

"That's the best part of today!" Molly answered.

The children hopped aboard as Joseph drove them to their destination. Waiting for them was a familiar face to no one but Bonnie and Andy.

"Daisy!" the two children hugged the young woman they've come to cherish like the older sister they never had.

"Okay, kiddos, simmer down. There are more surprises waiting in the building." Daisy struggled to get the two pre-teen gaijin off of her person before looking to Jennifer and sighing with lament. "Heard about the miscarriages."

The mood grew grimmer and the children loosened their grip with Bonnie frowned. "Yeah.."

"Not sure if lucky or-" Andy was soon hushed up by Bonnie.

"You're hella lucky and don't you dare forget that, bucko!" Bonnie boasted to the boy. "The living definition of third time's the charm!"

"As I said, this about celebrating everything that's made the past three years in Japan worth it. As an example:" Daisy backed away to reveal a smiling little lass of fourteen with dark-brown hair and a cute ponytail. "I present you this middle schoolgirl."

"Betcha don't recognize me, doncha?" cheeped the barely pubescent schoolgirl that stood in front of the automatic doorway.

"Like we'd ever forget one of our two favorite tutors, Shiori!" Bonnie beemed to her sempai. "Seriously, it's like you haven't changed a bit since we last saw you!"

"Bonnie, stop." giggled the older girl. "Not in front of Daddy, you're embarrassing me..."

"I'll admit, you do look like you came from one of her old photos today. A splitting image as Bonnie put it." an older voice from the mouth of an older man. The kids glanced to the man in a suit. "I suppose Shiori has that effect on younger girls."

"Yagami-san!" Bonnie gasped.

"Hello, Bonnie." greeted the Interpol chief. "You didn't think I wouldn't come to thank you for your services in squenching the Nobody infestation."

"Good to see you again." Andy sighed.

"Very happy to see you, Andy. It's been a long time..." Soichiro complimented back. "Felt even longer with the Kira Investigation. I'm sorry you had to get involved in such a nightmare."

"It's alright." Shrugged Andy. "We've got a whole buncha backup keeping us out of his reach, have you seen Star Platinum?!"

Soichiro chuckled to himself. "Right. We've never been closer to the end that we are today."

"Hold on a sec!" Bonnie halted. "Splitting Image?"

"Yes, you... said it yourself to my daughter." Soichiro clarified.

"Then that means..." Bonnie's gaze focused on the middle school girl, her eyes widening in realization. "Sayu?"

"Mhmm!" nodded the young daughter of the chief. "Took a while, didn't it?"

"Sorry, it's just that you looked so much like Shiori-chan." Bonnie blushed. "Speaking of which..."

"Right over here." the Gaijin glanced behind them to a college-bound schoolgirl not unlike Daisy was when they first touched down those three years prior, her mature hairstyle reflecting how much they and the world around them had changed since then. "Although, technically it's Shiori-san now..."

"Yeah, no kidding!" joked Bonnie, staring in awe at their one-time sitter and co-tudor. "You've up and graduated from bein' cute to bein' BEAUTIFUL!"

"Gosh, how sweet." Shiori blushed at her students. "And I'll bet you'll do the same when you grow up." she booped Bonnie's button nose as she walked over to the legal guardian. "And while we're on the topic of growing up."

"Hey." A young man of eighteen walked forward to Jennifer, his charming face topped off with golden-brown hair. "Been a while, hasn't it?"

"Light..." Jennifer swooned in reminiscence. "I just can't thank you enough for all that you and your family have done for us. We could barely speak Japanese when we got mixed up in all this and now I feel like I could teach it as a second language. Hundouni... Arigatou..."

"Arigatou!" chimed Molly.

"Anata wa saikōdesu!" beemed Bonnie.

"Watashitachi wa anata nashide wa osamarimasendeshita!" it was Andy's full, completely japanese sentence that floored Light the most.

"I'm really flattered, you guys..." Light blushed. "I don't know what to say."

"Got a good place to start right there." Bonnie pointed to a handcuff on Light's wrist with a messy-haired fellow in a white turtleneck on the other cuff.

"Hmm, so you're Bonnie Anderson." Spoke the bloke in the turtleneck. "Chief Yagami told me a bit about you whenever you came up in the conversation."

"Oh, by the way, this is L, he's the detective in charge of the whole Kira case down here." shrugged Stark.

"Don't mind me, this is merely a precaution to ensure that I can keep an eye on your tutor 24/7." L elaborated.

"He's been one of the long-standing suspects in this investigation." Soichiro solumnly stated to the gaijin. "I am very sorry to be the one to break this to you."

"Is that true, Light-san?" Bonnie spoke in Japanese, Light nodding with lament. "What gave you the idea that Light was the creepy crook-killin' krumbum Kira that's gotten us hidin' scarred for the past buncha months?"

"Mainly the investigation efforts of CIA Agents, specifically this fellow." L pointed his finger to a handsome man with black hair and light eyes.

"Raye Penber at your service." The gumshoe reached to the gaijin. "My condolences."

"He and eleven of his colleagues were sent to investigate suspected leakers in the Kira Task Force back when there were dozens of us around to tell the tale." L recounted to the children in a stern tone of voice. "After a 'chance' encounter with notorious monster designer Finster, he found himself in a demonic form comprising of the very souls of his comrades."

"Kira lured him in, didn't he?" Bonnie frowned.

"Pretty much." Raye lamented. "I had cleared the Yagamis and was looking into the Kitamuras when the mutation happened."

"So, with that in mind, we moved to monitor both families with high-caliber security camera networks in each household." L stated. "A precaution that you'll find repeated within this facility." Somewhere in the moving boxes, toys shivered in fear. "I hope you'll understand and by the by, please refer to me as Ryuzaki from this day forward."

"Aye-Aye!" Beemed Bonnie before glancing towards the guests of the party and chimed: "Now let's have the best going away sleepover we can!"

"Yeah! Let's party, y'all!" an alien voice -

[edit] Gaming Bests

The rec room was adorned with a pool table, Gamecube, 64 inch plasmascreen in front of a big orange couch and circular green carpet ripe for accommodating the wide array of guests testing out serveilence features of the task force's facility. To L, the games these children appear to be playing are simply just distractions to keep their minds off him and the investigation at hand. But to Andy, Tadase, Yu and Pinoke, it is an adventure in shifting prices and dancing stars in the Faire Square.

"Ten Coins for a star?" Yosuke exclaimed from the pool table. "Thank you, Twila!"

"Pay attention to your own game, ya Lugnut." Chie complained as she pocketed seven balls to net herself the advantage at her simple-minded opponent's expence.

"In all honesty, Zeppelli-kun, you're really all that into billiards, are you?" Yu asked the former wooden head and heir apparent to the Zeppelli fortune.

Pinocchio shook his head and sighed "Bad taste from Baseline."

"Oh, right..." Yu retreated as he finished his turn. "What about you, Andy? How's life turning out for you with Dr. Light being your dad for the Loop."

"That's just it, he's my dad for the Loop." argued Andy. "Dad's data was never archived just like you said so all this is, it's just Yggdrasil filling in the blanks, Molly and I could have been concieved by the Force for all we know and it still wouldn't be Baseline."

"But at least it shows your importance to the Baseline." Nagihiko added.

"Yeah." Andy mumbled silently. "A Baseline that values talking dolls over father's day..."

No further words were spoken on the matter as the four began playing their post-turn minigame.

"Layin' it thick, innit?" a voice echoed from a ventilation shaft.

"Don't you have a new Looper to see off to her home country?" Yosuke complained to the voice in the shaft as another voice boop-boop-booped away slowly.

"Do forgive the girls." exclaimed L through the intercom system. "They've discovered the trick vents I've installed for relative hiding ease in case of an intruder."

"Fake ventilation system?" Yosuke glanced to the speaker emitting the voice before asking his sempai. "What's wrong with just using the midnight channel?"

"Only those with Personas and Stands can access the Midnight Channel without incident." Joseph rightfully pointed out. "While you have carried normies to, from, and accross its labyrinthian landscape, it's your telekinetic potential that protected you when you confronted Konishi with your masters."

"Believe me, you have a strong heart." Terra stated to Andy. "Something I rarely see in non-Loopers like you."

"Thanks..." Andy slumped back into his seat in apathy, not believing Terra for one second much to his chagrin. "Tell that to the real Looper on the Girls' side."

[edit] Bedside Gossip

On the topic of the girl side, Shiori and Naomi were having a relatively easier time looking after Bonnie and the others and enjoying themselves than the men. Mainly because the games were so well behaved in their play.

"Get out!" Yelped Yaya. "You served in World War II?!"

"A bizarre version of World War II with sentient ships and alien invaders, but yeah." Riley shrugged back to her peers. "I'm every bit a veteran as Mr. Rogers."

"Puh-lease!" Lulu retorted to her peers. "If you're a World War II Vet then I'm Madame President Black!"

"I keep forgetting you're not one of us..." Amu sighed to her non-Looping companion. "You haven't yet tasted eternity, lived as many lives as we have." Her penetrating stare hinted towards her true age being much older than her body shows. "To portray our true age would be akin to staring directly into the abyss of time, not even the wisest souls off the constellation of Kasterburos can figure out how to undo the illness this world tree is suffering... the disease the World Tree plagues us with..."

"Are we centuries old or millenia?" Bonnie asked as she peeked outside of the fake vent door. "I haven't a clue, and I'm one of them myself."

The room grew dark as Lulu saw herself standing in a nest of enormous dragons, one no bigger than a queen-sized bed and the larger dragons scaling higher and higher beyond the ceiling. Unbeknownst to the girls, Ryuzaki was just as observant in their shenanagans as he was with the boys.

"This isn't real..." Light was shivering in his shoes. "Those beasts can't be Hinamori and his sisters, can they?"

"They symbolize their age quite well, don't you think?" Ryuzaki smiled back. "But this nest is merely an illusion, a trick that can be used by Loopers to display their ageless nature on par with, say, Joseph Joestar using Hermit Purple on a wall of screens to display the endless lives he's lived. I know I was surprised by this when I first met him on the BB case in Amber Los Angeles."

"That's one of the floating colonies in America, right?" Light correctly guessed to which Ryuzaki nodded. Back with the girls, they were struggling to keep their composure as Riley played the pre-recorded Angelic Message from one of the original seven Branches.

From the ageless river of time, we come
unafflicted by destinies undone
The vessels housing endless lives
cascading into the human mind
We are the advent of infinity
We are the demise of mortality
We are the LOOPERS of YGGDRASIL
We are eternal, bound only to the Infinite Loops
WE ARE HERE
WE ARE WAITING

"We're your friends, the Backyardagans." Bonnie sang as Lulu shivered in her shoes. The greenhorn giggled to her Looping seniors and said: "You gotta show me how to do that! Master Aqua just recently tought me how to pocket stuff!"

"I don't think someone who's just started her second decade of existence through the Loops can just pull a dragon out of her hat." Rima snarked to the gaijin girl. "Good try though, I respect that."

"A new Looper, huh?" spoke a voice from beneath the sheets. "Guess that explains the new voice..."

Amu leaned over and analyzed the shape of the mass that lay just under Bonnie's sheets. Promptly yanking away the sheets with enough force to leave her in midair for a brief little hop. Amu grimaced with irritation at the raven-haired youth that looked a year or two younger than Light. "Don't you have anywhere better to sleep? Like the Boys' side?!"

"Come on..." A brow raided on the boy's forehead. "Is it any way to treat your husband?"

"Spew!" cringed Yaya and Pepe in unison.

"Another native?" beemed Bonnie, the context flying over her head.

"Yep." Nodded Amu.

"Mind tellin' me yer name, stranger?" asked Bonnie.

"Hi, I'm Judd Nelson." joked the raven-haired youth. "I crash wherever Amu's sleeping maybe... once or twice a week."

[edit] Tales of Devastation

Back with the boys, Joseph Joestar was sharing fond memories he had from his long life on top of his time with Andy and Bonnie. He's even allowed the children to dig into his Subspace Pocket for certain knickknacks he had. "Ah, a kendama. Josuke tends to fiddle with it whenever I come around to raise him. You really should give him a ring sometime, he's a wonderful son unlike most of the Japanese folk I know." The nihongou among the crowd merely rolled their eyes as Yosuke pulled out a pair of steel clackers. "Those old things have been in my bag of tricks since my youth in Baseline, true classics I wouldn't dare leave home without." Next to pick out an item was Teddie who picked out a tinkertoy sculpture. "Oh, look. A tiny piece of the $1511 your mother's not getting back into her pay for her seventh quarter at the Konishi museum." Despite the joke at his expense, it was Andy's turn, he closed his eyes and dug into Joseph's pocket to pull a lone silver bell.

"Oh... well, hello again." Joseph greeted to the bell as he grasped at its royal blue ribbon. "It's been a little while, hasn't it?"

"Whacha talkin' bout, Jojo?" Yusuke glared to the elder man.

"It is a reminder of my service in the great Battle of Asgard in 1963." Joseph answered. "Me and my vampiric grandfather followed the Crystal Gems to Wakanda where we were led by King M'fasa Hall to charge against a great peril."

"Crystal Gems?" Andy eyed.

"King Mufasa?" Pinocchio added.

"I think I read about him in global history..." Yu interjected. "Last King of Wakanda before his brother M'Taka opened up to Asgardian Migrants."

"Yes." Confirmed Joseph. "Fought alongside them both men and a young T'Chaka that day. It would help to mold him into the man he needed to be when the sun inevitably rose on his time."

"The old man was far from alone..." Added Jotaro. "His gramps tagged along just as he did with me in Egypt back in the day as did Caesar, the Speedwagon Foundation's reserve of army veterans and mercenaries, the Magic High Commission and even a small platoon of rogue Edelsteki rebels known as the Crystal Gems."

-ILP-

"Edelsteki, or Gems as they are known in non-scientific communities, are alien superconsciousness-based lifeforms that house every ounce of their being in physical gems while projecting a form of hard light-based mass." Ryuzaki spoke through the intercom system. "More specifically, these gems are known criminals fighting against their homeworld who will no doubt have sucked our planet's resource dry making new Gems before our ancestors' ancestors were even conceived."

"So the Crystal Gems do exist!" Beemed Bonnie.

"In their native Branch, yes." Naomi confirmed. "Hence their presence in the Tree and with it, this iteration of existence."

"I suppose you've caught A glimpse or two of their Huh Archival?" Ryuzaki probed to the youngling.

Bonnie nodded back. "It was pretty good. No Gumball by any stretch but it has good things goin' for it..."

"But they have seen their lows, the Asgardian conflict of '63 being among the blackest marks on their resume." Ryuzaki solemnly informed the children. "Though they fought valiantly, but they couldn't keep the stones out of the wrong hands."

-ILP-

"Out of the three-hundred Wakandan Soldiers Mufasa led into battle, he was not among the hundred survivors that returned." Penber continued. "Even the Magic High Commission weren't safe from that finishing blow and may very well have been dissolved if not for one Likmut Dreemurr."

"He did exactly what he set out to do and had fifty percent off all life ensnared in by a devastation watered down at the behest of myself." Joseph explained to the younger ones. "Good-Hearted Spirits amongst those taken are scattered to uninhabited worlds of untapped resources."

"While the wicked are purged without a fight." Andy sighed in his seat. "At least it didn't end too bad, right?"

"Again, Wakanda begs to differ and so too does the Magic High Commission." Raye lamented back. "Even they weren't safe from that finishing blow and may very well have been dissolved if not for one Likmut Dreemurr."

-ILP-

"By far the most selfless of the commission as expected of the High Chancellor, it made sense for him to act fast when the initial devastation threatened the continued existence of his peers..." Ryuzaki droned in a matter of fact sort of tone. "Which is why he decided to channel his inner well of magical energy to save them from succumbing to the initial devastation."

"Aww..." cooed Bonnie. "That's so sweet."

"But channelling too much inner magic to heal others puts a strain on the mortal coil." Ryuzaki reminded to his crowd. "Thus, when he channelled the last of his into the late Queen Festiva, it was too little magic sent too late on her end. Hence, the Chancellor of the divine well perished in vain." Bonnie's eyes began leaking tears of grief for Likmut and fear for herself, but Ryuzaki still droned on from the comfort of his surveillance center. "As you can tell, Baseline for a Looper from what I can gather can range from mundane to thrilling, detached to interconnected, lovingly long to mercifully short. No matter the Branch, Fused Loops tend to be quite dangerous if you don't know what you're doing or where you're going. Especially when the amount of Branches cleaved together is as high as it is here."

Bonnie bolted for the door to her room crying, prompting Amu and the other girls to reach for her saying: "Bonnie! Wait a minute!"

"What the hell!" sniped Light to his superior. "She's only a kid in her first Loop ever and you just blert out a tale of war and death!?"

"Only to elaborate on the dangers of a Fused Loop of such a calibre as ours." Ryuzaki stated to his intellectual equal. "She's bound to stumble her way into such danger eventually, regardless of whether or not the threat to her life ends up being Kira himself."

"Can't you let a kid like her be the kid she's supposed to be?" Light protested.

"Why would I?" Ryuzaki countered. "She gave all that up when she took Andy to Japan. This is merely a reflection of her actions."

"Doesn't mean you have to be so hard on her..."

[edit] Chapter 17

The final Nobody arrives to stir up trouble just after Andy takes Bonnie out to ice cream to cheer her up. The Guardians go to fight it only to be picked off one by one, Andy being tossed about like a ragdoll in front of Bonnie's eyes, prompting her to unleash her true power at last in the form of a Keyblade of her very own.

[edit] "Is this how you felt?"

Mortally frightened by L's tale of the devastation, Bonnie sobs for Lykmut and herself, now painfully aware of the dangerous Looping world around her and clinging to the Cowboy Doll that serves as her native Anchor. "You knew it could be dangerous, I never thought I could die in failure..." the little Looper did sob. "I don't wanna be devastated, sheriff..."

"Bonnie..." Asked Andy, slowly opening the door Bonnie neglected to lock. "Light told me you holed yourself in here when Ryuzaki-san relayed his story. Are you alright?"

"Is this how you felt?" Bonnie asked back with a sniffle. "When ya heard about Ash Kachum, and the problem his dad's got?"

Andy simply stood silent and nodded. "But you can't fully blame the history in all this, In-Loop or otherwise. Yggdrasil's still sick and until it gets better, It's our job to stop the bleeding."

"You mean it's my job." Bonnie sniped.

"Yeah, it's your job." Andy hushed. "But it'll be my job too when they get around to activating me."

"But will it be my you?" Bonnie asked back to her senior. "The you of this Loop where we've been best buddies for years now!? The you who's stuck withe me through thick and thin?" Andy meekly slid back in thought and uncertainty. "The you I dragged to Japan right outta cowboy camp?"

"Figured you'd bring that up." Andy chuckled as he dug into his backpack for a little something he got from Joseph. "Because it occurred to me that in all the years we've spent in the Looping know, we've never directly interacted with our Anchor face to face."

Bonnie sheepishly glanced at her friend as he sat beside her with two blank dolls in his hands. All while the molded-on smile of a similarly-sized plush doll felt all the more genuine.

[edit] Loosing Sleep

Light was getting anxious just sitting there watching for a creature that never came. There were still criminals dropping like flies without due judgement and most of the children Ryuzaki had suspected were fast asleep. He was just about ready to clock in for the night himself when an opening door caught his eye.

Twas Bonnie holding a blank small effigy as she walked along with Andy to his room. His deductions saying that it was due to Ryuzaki's story keeping her awake, Light promptly scholded him once again but in a more subtle manner. "She's loosing sleep over that history lesson, you know."

"That's to be expected." Ryuzaki spoke, stirring his tea. "A girl her age during an early Loop such as her first would no doubt be unnerved by the death of a good person especially if one hadn't seen it firsthand before as we have."

"But still, to use the Battle of Asgard as an example." Light argued back. "Especially the very devastation that descended upon us immediately after!?"

"All to further illustrate what's at stake should Kira take notice of her or any of our other operatives on the case." reasoned Ryuzaki. "All he needs is a name and a face, and it's it." He glanced to the video feed from Andy's room, both children were laying by a toy box, utterly motionless. "Strange, they appear to be sitting by the assortment of toys they brought for the sleepover."

[edit] Toy Box

Andy opened his eyes to find himself in a vast open stretch of land adorned with plastic trees and building blocks of all sizes.

"Welcome to the Toy Box, Partner." A voice probed from behind him. Andy glanced to his side to find who else but his favorite toy smiling back at him. "You have no idea how long I waited to see you face to face like this."

"Woody..." Andy was at a loss for words at where he was and who he was speaking to. "I know I've seen glimpses of you at the airport, but I never had actually... seen you seen you barring the two movies Terra and Aqua showed me."

"Understandable tactic." Mentioned Woody, before reassuring his young owner: "But it's fine, partner. So long as you keep it secret like we always do and, believe me, those dolls and the Pocket are gonna be decent tools to help keep it hidden."

"Speakin' of pockets, Man, is this huge!" Boasted Bonnie, her arms extended to show the very scope of it all.

"Well, the Toy Box feature Janus loaded into our pockets does have that effect on foreign folk." Woody chuckled. "There's more than enough toys to play with down here. And that's just counting what was archived in the video games."

"There are video games of-" Andy shook his head and changed the subject entirely. "How are you even able to do this? Is it magic? Is it the inner emotional magic that's inside all of us?"

"Whoa, slow down, kid! That secret isn't even clear to our Admin, let alone Loopers like us." Woody hushed his easily excited kid. "All that matters is the thing we're made for."

"To be there for ya, no matter what!" beemed Jessie, arm wrapped around a giggling Bonnie who then promptly chirped back: "So you're saying we can build anything we want here?"

"So long as ya got the wand, then yeah." Dolly handed Bonnie a bright red wand. "Go for it, little miss Architect..."

"I'm so glad we can we can see each other eye to eye, Andy!" Rex gushed to his master. "You're a real special kid!"

"So how'd ya end up here on our level, huh?" Potato Head glared to the boy just as a young man's voice piped up.

"On it, Ryuzaki!" Twas Matsuda's voice. "God, I knew Kira'd swoop in while we weren't paying attention and look what happened!"

"Agh! Task Force Ahoy!" panicked Rex.

"What'll we do! What'll we do!" Yelped Bonnie ad nausium.

"Will yourselves out and follow my lead." Commanded Woody. "I have a plan."

With all the Nobodies vanquished and the Konishi victims restored to life. Our merry band of loveable Loopers are taken back to America to live along the path between Andy and Bonnie's houses with the Japanese Loopers immigrating to Japan thanks to Phil, an uncle of Bonnie's, having pulled the proper strings to do so.

Jennifer swallowed a bit before admitting: "Yes."

"Well, Zedd and Rita may have a hand in that due to my history with them..." Added Tommy.

"More fossils and genepools, Yawn!" Disgust moaned in boredom before sipping her cappuccino.

"That is to say my history..." Continued Tommy "...As a Power Ranger."

Disgust spat out her drink in surprise: "Yeah, okay! Un-Yawn!"

S.R: "And no one's going to question the French Prince that somehow emerged from centuries of absence with his village of subjects in tow."

C.D: "Deep State's hard at work on forging the needed documents as we speak, so they're free to start over as if they just immigrated over to the states."

F.D: "Even Père Robert can be more open in America, especially after a little thing called Civil Rights."

T.O: "Still can't believe Thanos would be willing to even do such a thing. Normally, he'd snap half of them away for the sake of balance."

T.S: "Probably an honor thing, we managed to trounce a guy who's shifting the balance and he rewards us with a peace offering like say, oh I dunno..."

L.Y: "...immunity to the Death Note."

T.S: "There it is!"

T.O: "Still, there's something fishy going on with him, and it isn't his in-loop status among the Asgardian bloodline."

T.S: "Look, that's neither here nor there today so let's just enjoy the wedding as the couple of couples intended for us. Lighten up, Thor."

T.O: "I suppose this is a matter that will have to wait until the dust settles, the problem now is what to make of the children."

[edit] Rules

  • An Incoming Writer must first submit a snip of their SI dying in some form before being imported into the Looping Code. Then the writer must select a Branch at random with a corresponding Admin of their choosing, write a minimum of twenty snips chronicling the twenty Loops the character spends in that branch before moving on to another branch selected at random to start the cycle all over again.
  • When one Branch is selected, the writer must find an obscure program that comes to their mind to replace it as it has rotated out until the Branch has had its twenty Loops.
  • The writer is free to suggest a specific gimmick for the Branch so long as it adheres to the logic of the Project's lore.

"You know that scene in that one episode of the cartoon with talking babies." I started to explain to my broken, obese mother. "It portrays a world where one of the lead baby's friends was never born and thus be is subservient to the bully character who has ballooned into a blog of fat in that timeline."

"And you are comparing her to me?" Asked Mom, to which I nodded back. "I am sorry that you think that, but ask yourself this: What are the core values of a leader?"

"Ambition." I stated.

Mother merely rolled her eyes. "Compromise. Tolerating opinions that clash with your own. Listening to what others have to say. Sacrificing what you want to secure what your friends need." Friends that I do not have, like I'd ever have them... "Try to take that into consideration the next time you want to bring up an allegory like that."

Thus, I slinked back to my room, No TV, no phone, no portables, no nothing. I was flat out grounded, me, some YouTube content creator in my twenties sitting around waiting to get my computer fixed whilst the website burns around me. Problematic content, data collection, protecting minors, the usual excuses. All the while hiding the skeletons in their closet. There are few people in this world worth caring about and if something were to happen to any of them...

My eyes rested for a spell before fluttering back open to reveal white walls with wide windows that revealed a vast environment with a futuristic city or two overtaken by ruin and nature as it lay upon wide open ranges of grass and trees and mountaintops spread below a skyskape covered in a wall of what appear to be mosaic illustrations.

Edward's eyes groggily opened to the sight of the inside of a minivan. He looks outside to find themselves crossing the Golden Gate bridge, placing him in a Near-Hub Loop. Ed let out a sigh and leaned back in his seat.

"Okay, clearly I'm not the only one Awake here..." Spoke the driver of the car. "So if a certain little monkey could check and see if anyone's as Loopy as I am, I'd very much appreciate it. "

And with that came a flat note, a Ping from a nearby girl by the window seat opposite his own. He looked to his brother and sent a Ping for himself to wake him up, the sleepy Looper sent his own ping in response as a fourth Ping ring out from Wrath, their adopted brother for the Loop of their memories were any indication.

Speaking of, turns out this girl is his baby sister of twelve years old and from the fact that she's the first to ping, she's the Branch's resident Anchor. He'll have to get used to writing the name Edward Andersen and being teased with EA jokes from classmates but at least Winry has lived in San Francisco for a few years so he's got the chance she's Awake going for him. Thinking quickly, he pulled a book from his pocket: The Loops of Yggdrasil by Iman Anker

"Nice read." Smiled Riley, his sister and hostess for the Loop.

"Granted, I haven't heard of this Anker or his work." Jill stressed to her eldest son.

"Well, he's not exactly well known by outsiders." Bill chuckled back to his non-Looping wife. "The only fellas that flock to his works are the diehards that understand the ins and outs of its sprawling mythos."

"Think I could be able to understand myself?" Jill asked.

Bill thought for a moment and said: "We're just going to have to wait and see."

"Thanks for the better house, by the way..." Riley smiled to the fellow Anchor.

Edward glanced to the man who would be filling the role of the father this Loop. "Housing said our family was too big for those coffin apartments we usually get in Baseline, so we're getting a house just like the one we have in Minnesota."

"It's got a big dining room and Rooms for all of us." Riley boasted. "And a Garage where I can put my Master Cycle."

"Sure you will... " added Bill. "When you're sixteen. No age disguise jutsus, young lady."

Jill shared a laugh with her daughter, unaware of how real her aforementioned tricks were.

[edit] Sharing Stories

The last time Riley had a Guest Looper over, she had to deal with someone who was a villain in Baseline on top of being a fellow victim of the notorious Mythos Hacker Slenderman. So starting the Loop with two visitors cast in the role of her older brothers was certainly a bit more normal than when Cinder came along. There's also the fact that these two were Edward and Alphonse Elric of Amestris which was quite an old branch, not as old as say the Original 7 or her Marvelous Neighbors but they still had enough Loops under their belt to have enough Stories to share to last the whole Loop.

Thankfully, Riley had some stories of her own. "So basically, we had a faceless dinglehopper screwing with us when we were at are weakest and bonded over the fact that we had a faceless dinglehopper screwing with us. And don't get me started on my World War II days."

"Is that so? Which timeline we talking here?" Asked her eldest brother. "Classic near-hub? Hydra?"

Edward leaned in closer with a deadpan expression. "It's that shipgirl branch, isn't it?"

"Yeesh, was it obvious?" blushed the younger anchor as she pulled her cannon from her Subspace Pocket, "DE-579. And to be frank, between the Spirit Aliens and the gluttonous diet, I couldn't exactly say there was a dull moment about that time."

"You kidding?" Shrugged Alphonse. "Carla Yeager Activated as Sloth!"

"From Attack on Titan?!" Yelped Fear from Headquarters. "That place is a monster-ridden death trap! She got eaten in literally the first episode!"

"And it left Eden an orphan with no other shelter than the Army... " sighed Sadness. "At least she's got Sloth's Speed and endurance.

"That's Brotherhood, tutz." Anger argued. "Considering who we're talking about..."

"2003 Variant?" Riley asked.

Alphonse nodded. "And man, was it tough to snap her out of her In-Loop role."

"And that's not the freakiest off-Branch Activation their Branch has seen. " remarked the Fullmetal-Hearted eldest Andersen. "Sasha Braus Woke up in Kadic after a bullet to the but in her Baseline."

"Kadic, Kadic, Kadic..." Joy flipped through the pages in a book of known Branches, closing it when she reached the L section. "Nope, nothin' on Kadic!"

"...Yeah, back to Titan." hushed Riley, " How is that even Looping, don't alot of people-?"

"Die? Yes." Affirmed Alphonse. "There's a modular Anchor system in place for whichever of the main three survive to the end, and recent events from what I heard show that there is a chance that they could all make it."

"Aww... That's nice... " sighed Sadness with relief.

"Believe me, they need all the hope they can get back there since those Titans make the Heartless look like broken syringes and human-" Edward promptly remembered where he lived this Loop and said: "Sorry, no offense."

"None taken." Riley reassured her brothers. "While it's relatively cleaner than it is in the Hub, I can't stand the massive toilet that are the San Francisco Streets either."

"I'm just thankful that the bigger family we make together allows for a bigger house." Smiled Alphonse.

"Complete with a backyard to play around with." Edward stood up from the Ottoman he was sitting on and pulled out an Alchemy book. "Let's see if the tectonic shifts of your world is up to snuff with ours."

"Fine by me." Riley stood up as well, hockey stick in hand. "It'll make for a great show of what the baby sister could get when she stops by your branch. "

"Actually..." Alphonse added. "Nina activated not too long ago so you're technically not the youngest."

"The girl that got blended together with the dog by her creepy mad scientist dad?!" Panicked Fear.

"Poor Nina Tucker..." Moaned Sadness. "She didn't get that much farther into her home baseline than Carla."

"Least she's Looping, too." Beemed Joy. "Right, Riley?"

The native Anchor nodded right back. "It's good to know there's a smiling face waiting for you back home. "

[edit] Clashing

With a call of his hands, Ed was off and away. Alphonse tossed a metal barrel into the air for the alchemist to strike to the ground, the barrel bursting and spilling the water onto the yard which then solidifies into solid ice. Beneath her feet, Riley could feel that same metal clinging to her shoes to become rollerblades.

"This is amazing!" Reacted Riley to the tune-up her kicks had received from the transmutation. "Do you think Mom and Dad'll chip in as goalies?"

"Depends." glared Alphonse, doodling a Transmutation Circle onto a sheet of iron he had Unpocketed. "Are they Awake?"

"And feeling Loopy." Bill smiled as he walked over to the knob for the newly-transmutated foosball goalie on his daughter's side. "Do your best out there, ya little monkey!"

"Thanks, dad!" With that, the game begins. Riley takes the puck first but when she swings, Alphonse reflects it back to his brother who promptly scores the goal through Bill's struggles with his knob.

"And the Elder Anchor tastes first blood!" Cheered Edward, his ego greatly inflated. "Still think you can take me on, sis?"

"Trust me," Smirked Riley, tying her hair up. "I'm just getting started."

"And the hair is up!" Bill's Fear relayed. "Game face fully operational!"

"Keep your trip steady, boss." Bill's Anger promptly reminded. "With a Looper this old, anything could happen."

Bill took a deep breath and watched his daughter swing her hockey stick to knock the puck directly into the goal before Al could properly react in it. "And the crowd goes wild!"

"...Lucky shot." Edward glared, tightening his grip on his stick for a strong thwack... Only to shift the puck and end up face first on the ice, leaving it open for Riley to score again. "Sonofa-"

"You okay there, Eddy?" asked Riley, kneeling with a hand extended. "Need a lift?"

"He's kinda new to hockey, sis." Alphonse shrugged to the younger Anchor "Cut brother some slack, alright?"

Ed brushed off the dust from his fall and readied himself for the next score by clapping his hands together and channeling his energy into the puck before swinging and sending to a wall in the side of the makeshift rink. As it traveled, a sloping stream of ice carried the puck into the goalposts of Riley's side of the field, catching Bill by surprise.

"I don't think that's a legal tactic..." stated Sadness

"Yeah, hockey rinks aren't supposed to shift like that." Disgust rightfully pointed out.

"So, you think you could use your magic alchemy to cheat on our home turf?" Anger then cued up a special thrust switch on the console. "Well, we've gotten ourselves some skills of our own!"

"Ooh! I call first dibs!" Joy grasped at the pump and pushed it into the console.

Riley's eyes began to glow a radiant yellow as she swung her stick, hitting the puck to pass it to herself via a sort of instant transmission where she zaps from her current position to the puck which she promptly knocks into the goal. Edward simply stood there dumbfounded. "You can teleport!?"

"...and much more, little bro!" Riley should not have said that as that triggered a short fuse in Edward's mind which let him loose to tackle Riley in rage.

"WHO ARE CALLIN' SO PUNY, CHIP AND DALE COULD USE MY HEAD AS A FOOTREST!!" Edward's tirade have Anger an idea.

"Two can play at that game, shortstuff." Smirked Anger, his hand gripped firmly on the power pump. "Eat this!"

No sooner did her eyes clash a burning red as the temperature started to climb. Ed stepped back before a torrent of flame erupted upwards to envelop Riley in a veil that burst into the shape of a phoenix to reveal her shipgirl attire. "Let's kick it up a notch!"

"Thank you, Superhero Loop." Smirked Anger, reclining in his seat.

Alphonse could do little more than watch in awe as Bill subtly rose a finger to say: "I don't like where this is going."

Thinking quickly, Edward transmutes an ice barrier from the steam left in Riley's firey rise to block her cannon shots on impact, sucking in more steam with every scorching blow to hold the ice together on a molecular level before his next move. When Riley runs out of ammo, Ed leaps from the top of the ice barrier to deliver a bicycle kick to the face.

"Going down!" Smirked Edward, and the moment the blow landed, the projectory sent Riley sailing to the exposed pavement of the road across the block.

"At the rate we're falling, we'll all go..." Sadness could do little more than slump her head into the pump, causing Riley's eyes to flash a bright baby blue before impact.

"Aw, birch! Riley!" Edward unpocketed his broom to fly Bill and Alphonse to where Riley hit the ground. "Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!"

"Riley!" cried Bill, fearful for his daughter's life. "Speak up if you can hear me!"

"I'm okay!" A distorted voice called out from the puddle of liquid mercury that slowly molded itself into the familiar shape of a pre-teen girl. "Just got a little carried away is all."

"Maybe if someone stuck to the rules and held off on the Alchemic ballet..." Alphonse glared to his older brother who promptly grumbled to himself

Master Yo was quite confused at what was going on. One day he was engaging a new contender for the Night Master Throne with his children, the next saw him having just sent them to spend his last $4.18 on new training equipment. He read through whatever Woo-Foo scrolls he could dig up, or at least he would have if all the Woo Foo artifacts hadn't dissappeared from the Dojo.

'It's the Chronologicum, isn't it.' Master Yo thought to himself. 'Someone must have gotten their mitts on it.'

The plan was simple, administer the Antivirus program into XANA by one of the Looping Lyoko Warriors landing a direct hit on his vessel: William Dunbar. Logically, Ulrich was the main choice in that he was the only one out of them with a piercing weapon such as his katana that could serve as a conduit through which the program could be transferred. But amidst thoughts of whether this could be a one-way trip so to speak, the digital copy of William was sent in instead.

To say things were dicey was a bit of an understatement.

"You're a nothing! " sneered the virus in his vessel. "Just a half-baked mess of digital dust waiting to be scattered to the winds."

"Maybe... " coughed the copy as he struggled his way back on his feet. "But if I'm done for, I'm gonna be sure you croak with me! Not because you'll be a frog but dust like me!"

[The Amazing World of Gumball]
The Acceptance

The moment news of a recent Expansion ending in imminent disaster spread to Skuld was the dawn of a new emergency situation of a scale that hadn't been seen since the Ascension of Madoka Kaname. As the Loops dragged on and Gumball encountered 'Superintendant Evil' and his plan over and over again, he came to a discouraging realization: "That movie expansion's never gonna come."

"You're just saying that, right?" peeped Darwin.

"Stop kidding yourself, man. You know what's happening all around us?" Gumball moaned back without a hint of hope in his voice. "Our Baseline's always gonna end with Elmore caving in with the show's cancellation and the plan we keep ruining is proably preferable compared to this."

"Come on, it's just an archival that's stalling out." Darwin argued to his adopted brother. "You can't just give up on Elmore just because we're not getting that final expansion."

"Watch me." Gumball got up from his seat as a raven-haired tween opened up the door for him.

"Gumball... Darwin..."

"We'll be right with you, Masami." Gumball muttered to his 'fixed' classmate, taking her by surprise, and gestured to Darwin. "Come on, Darwin. You're free to bring Carrie along if you like."

Darwin's teary-eyed frown glanced to Carrie's expression of shock as he took her hand and wlaked her out of their detention room to meet their fate. Masami merely shrugged her shoulders and moved on, leaving Alan in his painful contortion. "Fine, leave me with the stomach-heart taste in my mouth, see if I do anything for you after that."

Gumball crossed paths with a greatly reduced but still incredibly strong Tina, He did not even give her a glance. As he passed by Tobias and his gradient tank-top, all he did was a comment of 'Nice Hair' And Susie, Gumball just did a half-hearted thumbs up and deemed her transformation a massive improvement.

When at last, he stood face to face with 'Evil', Gumball reluctantly fastened himself to the machine with his last words being: "You're a coward and a pussy, but your plan's relatively understandable so I'm gonna go along with it to see how that turns out." Evil was taken aback at Gumball's comments but accepts it as one last snipe at him before he sees himself fixed.

Sure enough, Susie was true to her word in that the transformation was 'quite painless' especially compared to last time. But there was a problem poised to Yggdrasil, the transformation was specifically for the purpose of escaping to 'the other place'. But since the Baseline did not explicitly state where this other place was, this put the citizens of Elmore at the mercy of the world tree.

Bonnie took one last look at her grown up body before the Loop concluded and she was carried back to her true child body once more. If there was one aspect to the Loops where she grew up if not Awakening as a Grown Up right out the gate, it was how much she resembled her mother. Her warm eyes and soft smile, lacing a face that looked just like the pictures taken of her mom during her college days, fresh and full of promise. There were key differences, of course, what with genetics and all that. But the fact remained that she was still herself no matter how long she Looped, a fun-loving angel that her mother would always cherish.

"Bonnie, while we're young, okay?" Bonnie nodded to the Anchor of the Galaxy Far, Far Away she was sent to for the Loop and walked over to the bridge of his son-in-law's ship. "So, let's run them down one last time. Darth Maul?"

"Blaster Bolt to the head." Obi-Wan sighed, the force ghost nodding in confirmation.

"Snoke?" Mentioned Mace.

"Burnt to hell with the Jedi Library." Like shrugged to his father, a bottle of green milk beside him.

"How about Hux?" Asked Bonnie.

"Committed suicide under the existential pressure of the Loops." Leia sipped her Pan-Galactic Gargleblaster with the utmost subtlety.

"And Ben?" Probed Padme.

"Met his just deserts on the altar of the millennial left." Solo snarled back to his mother-in-law. "Two Words: Planned Parenthood."

Bonnie was quick to put two and two together and voiced her relief towards the quelling of Kylo Ren's menace ( as well as her gratitude towards her parents) with a subtle, yet certain: "...dark."

"The only real hassle we had was Palpatine due to Dooku filling a certain someone's vacant... " Lando struggles to remember a phrase. "What was it that variant called it one time."

"A torso lite-brite." Ahsoka glared back, earning laughter from her fellow Loopers.

"Me," Leia leaned with pride. "I choked that Pig Jabba right as Han fed Boba to the Sarlac."

"But did you know up the Sarlac?" Asked Bonnie. "Cause unless you like playing out Bounty Hunters to 'I've got a Fett in me' I don't think you'd be happy with a Looping Sarlac."

"Chewie, get the railgun."

[edit] Prologue

Far into the Future (Or was it the past?)
There was a world tree that was built to last
Or so it would seem to the adminsphere
as the eldest one stated loud and clear
He invented the firmament in just six days
from which all other worlds are made
Over time, the omniverse grew
With new creatures and cultures and galaxies, too!
But as it spread farther away from the root.
New Gods joined in his pursuit.
Norse, Egyptian, Roman, Greek
Indian and African Deities to meet
The Progenitor called them near
Although something that he did fear
Was the notion that the world crafted by he
would one day be deemed obsolete

"NO HOPE! AT ALL! THE FIRMAMENT MUST FALL! NO HOPE! AT ALL! THE FIRMAMENT MUST FALL!"

The chants of his race crying in unison over the one thing that made their shared existence possible to begin with rung in Jehova's Ears. These younger deities know not what they're doing, yet on the count of this cult of Safe Spaces and 'Me First' victimhood, they want his plate dismantled for the mental rot of authortitarian oppression. He wept with every psychopath who demands those give up the color of their skin in the name of self-proclaimed 'equality', He cringed at the parasitic 'religion' that forced those in power to bow before their 'virtue', he looked in utter horror as a cult of soulless mind slaves and dragons in human clothing ushered in a one-world-goverment of deprevity and destruction that punishes and slaughters and corrupts the innocent solely for seeing the cult for what it is.

And that is why they're begging the gods and goddesses he had deemed his colleagues to bring an end to it.

On the day the earth died, Heaven would receive a grim reminder.

The first of four figures stepped forward, a woman with raven-black hair lacing her angelic face with a a finely sculped figure. The second was a maiden of hair of gold in a dress as blue as the sky, third was a rather plain-looking japanese gentleman who stood beside the maiden in blue in a quite extravigant gold-laced tunic. Holding a blue screen of magic and code was an exotic-skinned woman with ivory locks and a revealing black-and-red dress, she awaited the words from the raven-haired mistress before him: "Read the charges."

"Lord Jehovah of Babylon, you stand before your seasoned peers and likely successors accused of wittingly ignoring an infestation of a quantum virus." droned the plain man before Jehovah and a crowd of deities present through astral projection. "One that the incredibly outdated firmament isn't equipped to survive with its primordial human technology and biology."

The office-like metaphysical representation of the internal mechanisms and interface of the World Tree was in uproar. Servers representing the most fundamental skeleton code were catching fire. Gods and goddesses were sprinting pell-mell, hither and thither, printouts in their hands, shouting at each other.

Come on, boss, where in the fucking Hel are you!?

As if summoned by her thoughts, his comfortingly familiar enormous stature abruptly emerged from the pandemonium, features intense with purpose and concentration. “SKULD.”

The boom of his voice caused all within earshot to fall silent and still, waiting for the one in charge to save the situation.

“Boss!” she exclaimed in relief, and the words came tumbling out in a rush, “I don’t know what happened! Everything was fine, but then Odin and Ammy started reporting errors and then Zeus’s terminal blew up and now universes are getting deleted -!”

“We are getting deleted,” he interrupted brusquely, “My son is gone. There’s no time to troubleshoot. It’s too late for that, the entire system is collapsing. There’s no other avenue of recourse that can be taken,” he said grimly. He started marching forward, “I have to go in and do a direct interface override.”

Scattered gasps rippled outwards as the gods who knew what that meant were stunned speechless, and their confused neighbors whispered to each other asking for clarification.

Skuld herself was frozen, before she choked out, “W-what? Christie? He’s… d-dead?”

It was impossible. He had been there not four hours ago smiling and trading gentle banter and jokes with Loki and sipping wine with Dionysus. He couldn’t be gone.

At no point during any of this did the man stop moving. He strode straight up to Skuld’s terminal, gently yet firmly moved the woman to the side, and pressed a hand against the virtual tower CPU. Lowering his head and closing his eyes, he spoke, “I’m sorry it has come to this, Skuld. If I knew any other way… but, as things stand right now, you are the new chief debugger.”

His other hand lifted his beret from his head and placed it on the youthful-looking woman’s head.

“N-no, wait… don’t go…!” she cried out weakly, feeling like she was being stabbed in the stomach with the suddenness of it all, “... not you too... don’t go…!”

But she knew, deep down, that it had to be done. He was the only one at this point who could possibly take control from the malicious artificial intelligence (because there was no way it could be anything else). But once you enter the source code, there’s no getting out of that. It was the stuff of the very concept of the multiverse. He wouldn’t be dead or deleted, but he might as well be to everyone who knew him.

Dark blue eyes opened and gazed into her own with deep sadness, “Goodbye.”

He looked around himself at the sea of immortals who, in this Cataclysm, tasted mortality for the first time. Some, like Skuld, were openly weeping. Anansi, Hestia, Amaterasu, Hera. Others simply lowered their heads in respect for a warrior fighting to the death. Ares, Odin, Frigga, Tyr One-Hand. Most were simply wide-eyed in complete incomprehension at what was happening.

“Yeh will be missed, old man,” One-Hand observed sadly, “Yeh were the grea’est of us.”

The giant frowned, a hint of annoyance sparking, “Mourn for my son. He is the one who made the ultimate sacrifice. I will still be here.”

Without further preamble, the giant god inhaled, through the nose. Exhaled, through the mouth. And just like that, he was gone forever.

There are four worlds in the Kingdom Hearts mythos, a world of humanity where a bulk of the Pixar flicks take place, a world of magic where Kingdom Hearts and Disney Infinity occur, a world of machinelike insects where a bug's life and later on the Cars Trilogy is set, and a world of monsters where the Dinosaurs went after Good Dinosaur.

[edit] Scene 3.1415

.A Frightening Future.

[edit] Scene e>MChammer

.The battle of the beast.

"I'd say you should have gone for the head but with how far the good master's spread through deep down..." the wicked lady in black sneered to Odin. "All you'd be doing is splitting hares." And thus, she extended her gloved hand and readied her fingers and...

"NOOOOO-!"

"I lo-."

  • SNAP*

.Wicked Lady.

A lifeless bell clanged to the floor of the castle as it bounced away from the newly-minted carcass. Odin watched as it rolled off and realized what or who that ordiment once was. "What have you done?"

"Nothing that'll be as fun as what's next." The wicked lady grinned callously with her gloved hand flexing its fingers as they reached out, clutched Odin's temples and gouged out one of his all-seeing eyes.

.Joseph and Jonathan with the last petal.

Joseph Joestar limped to his fellow troops with a strained composure to his battered and bruised and yet still very durable body. "Where'd she go?" he asked Rose, an expression of silent shock gracing her strong yet graceful face. "Rose? Where'd she go."

"Joseph, I feel funny..." Jonathan's voice gained Joseph's attention, the rose firmly planted in his grasp with the last petal about to fall. "Not sure if it's 'ha-ha' funny or just..." He grew short of breath and loosened his grip on the rose just as the petal detached itself from its bud. Twas not the only thing that fell loose as his entire assortment of molecules dissolved onto the floor in front of his own grandson. As the last petal landed and rotted in Joseph's grasp, only one phrase could escape his breath.

"Oh, no."

The armies of supposed villagers were retreating in a most peculiar way that was barely seen from the Castle's frontyard where its servants were celebrating their victory.

"We did it, Plumette!" cheered Lumiere, twirling his beloved co-worker. "The enemy is retreating, Victory is ours!"

Elsewhile, Cogsworth was watching the ensuing 'retreat' with apparent horror. "Erm, Lumiere?"

"Three Cheers for the Joestars!" Lumiere hooted unaware of the true nature of the ongoing scene. "Hip-Hip!"

"Focus!" Barked Cogsworth. "Notice anything off about the retreating troops?"

"Let's see..." Lumiere aimed his sights at the armies. "They all look like-."

He gasped subtly in shock as Cogsworth finished "Yes, Asgardians. Some troops being Wakandan. I'm afraid it was... he who won."

"What?!" Lumiere could not believe what he had just said, he did not know how this couldn't get any worse but Plumette's faint moaning reminded him how. "Plumette!" He rushed to the maid's side and cradled her in his arms, now fully inanimate and lifeless. "Oh, my darling Plumette..." He wept for his lover as Cogsworth watched the now vacant fighter planes fall from the sky and crash across Asgard

.Simba and T'Chaka with the stampede's consequences.

"Up, my sons! Up!" Mufasa reached out to Simba, still in contemplation of whether or not to escape through the portal. "This is no place to die."

T'Chaka promptly sat up as Simba extended short little arm to his father, his smile widening only to drop into a horrified frown when his own father faded from the face of the earth (or rather, the face of Asgard.) Devastated by the sight, he ran through the portal to T'Chaka's protest!

"Wait, brother!" T'Chaka cried, the elder of two brothers running towards the portal only for it to pop right as he was but a few feet away. "Simba!" It was no use, the youngest prince of Wakanda has fled to a far off reality known only to the kindly uncle who pulled the trigger and opened the singularity to begin with.

-ILP-

Groot picked up an injured and disgraced Rocket in the ballroom with Cadenza and Garderobe spending one last moment with each other as the castle grew darker and colder.

"Meistro, you were so brave." she smiled with the curtains she moved like the kissable lips she lacked. "Goodbye, my love."

"Amour, No!" The doors closed in front of the horrified harpsichord as it got harder for him to move, his wooden limbs growing ever stiffer. "Don't leave me!"

The music he played with what little teeth he had

.Rocket and Groot with the dying duet.

"Ah birch, oh man..." Rocket repeated to himself as he saw what was happening to Groot's Cabbit on top of a flailing Sultan. Groot reached out to his furry friend to comfort it only to have it dissolve from his reach. Groot's eyes grew watery and Rocket patted his large wooden back with sympathy and understanding "Oh, Groot..."

.Chappoux and Bender with the void.

"Chaps? Chappoux?" Bender wandered the castle, Portal Gun in hand. "Chaps, where you at?!"

-ILP-

"Honestly, I expected that this astral form could manifest a better power that could at least be useful!" spate Angelique to the alcoholic genius.

.Angelique and Rick with the searching mother.

Million Ants could only stand there in fear as his colony dissipated one after the other, thinning out the density of his form before the queen herself succumbed to the Snap's devestation, taking his sapient consciousness with her.

.Lumiere and Cogsworth with the final save.

.Walt and Agathe with the destroyer's daughter.

"Any other way would risk half the universe, Walter." lamented Agathe to the legendary futurist. "Be grateful it's but half of Asgard." And with those words spoken, she dissolves in peace with her newfound successor. Drax stood in awe of what was occurring right before him, It certainly wasn't fun to witness the Snap firsthand, but in a Loop where he managed to keep his wife and daughter alive from Ronan the Accuser? He'd rather be among those dusted away like in variant Feige.

"Daddy..." Speaking of which, sweet little Heather was stumbling close to her father with atoms flaking off of her body. "I don't feel so good."

He knew what was happening. "You're fine."

"I don't know what's happening." she shuddered.

"Walk it off." protested her father, but no matter how he tried, he could not do anything to calm his little one as she stumbled and fell into his arms.

"I don't wanna go..." she sobbed and repeated over and over. "Please, I don't wanna go. I don't wanna go.,." Drax could feel his own daughter dissolve one molecule after the next as he held her tight and fell to the ground. Feeling her fingers grow numb as they eroded away, Heather solumbly asks his teary-eyed father: "Do you wanna build a snowman?" before dissolving below him with a Thump to the ground as her body mass gives way. He growled with anger and anguish, fate having decided on his beloved daughter to play the part of Peter Parker.

-ILP-

The remaining Vindicators rushed to the front stairway leading into the castle halls, with Vance picking up the mantle clock and candelabra that stood beside each other.

"WHAT HAPPEN?" asked Crocubot with as much worry as his cold, unfeeling machine half's built-in artificial voice could allow as Vance held the lifeless antiques in his hands in shock before he made his way to Chip. "DID THANOS SET US UP THE BOMB?"

Vance did what he could to wake up little Chip, rubbing the outside, sipping from the chipped part, anything to get a rinse out of the boy but no use. The last petal had fallen and the servants of the Beast were sealed away in inanimate prisons of their own volition.

"Oh, god."

[edit] The Sun Always Shines on TV

The Activation of James Bond 007 and his introduction to the Loops will be the most unique out of all of them, i.e. it is about how he is sent on a mission to protect the world from 'Firmament Break' which could see the earth crushed by a gigantic ice plate. And believe it or not, the story ends in failure for 007.

Pikachu uses electroshock, it has no effect. It cries out in fear.

Light: AAAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE! THE DOCTOR, YEN-SID, It'll be us next!

[edit] L's final meeting

Shouichiro: Doctor, we're paying our respects in this private room so that the public won't hear of what you've become under Kira's wrath. But rest assured, this is not over yet. We'll continue to work with police from around the world and now... across the universe itself. I swear to you, we will catch Kira and arrest him, that's our promise to you. Soon, you can finally rest in peace.

L: Indeed... Even with the convoluted adventure you've dragged us through with supernatural card games, mystical keys and fantastic realms, your tragic fate has provided us a helpful hint in this investigation. Your first companion Ian Chesterton, he wrote your name onto the face of Big Ben entirely from memory. The implications from this stunt has all sorts to new leads, from old enemies to new threats.

Rue: Doctor, It wasn't your fault, you've led us to find the greatest friends and endure the darkest times. Despite your corrupted morals, you still saw to it that we came together to become stronger people through our journey. These memories we've made on our way here, all the good and the bad, I would never give them up for anything.

Tama: I'm scared... all the battles... all the hurting... I didn't ask to exist as consequence of your actions, but the fact that I'm alive to stand before you means you never mean for us to suffer. You wanted us to flourish and grow into our own as people, and the part of you that was still you fought to make that happen. That part of you is the you we want to live up to.

Light: That's right. No matter the culprit, human or not, the goal remains the same: To catch Kira and avenge the Doctor. Solving this case will be our last gift to him, to Ian, to Adric, to Amy, Rory, and River, to all of Kira's victims, and to the universe he dedicated his life to protect. I swear right here and now, I will send Kira to his execution.
