They are most well known for their involvement in the [[Phazon]] and [[Metroid]] crises. The Space Pirates operate as a military unit, striking venerable locations of the Federation where they see fit. They are constantly foiled by [[Samus Aran]], and after the loss of their homeworld and the second destruction of the planet [[Zebes]] they have vanished as a threat to the Federation. On more then one occasion they have come to odds with the [[Yoshi Bodyguards]], raiding their headquarters several times for data or technology. | ||
