Professor Gethman Tormian is the Pontanore Minister of Finance, and widely viewed as the leading figure in economics within the Pontanore. Regarded as the father of Pontanore Economic Theory, Tormian is one of the most respected members of the government and civil society, representing one of the "Meritocratic" placements in the cabinet. Chosen for his knowledge, Professor Tormian has served as Minister of Finance under the governments of Dr. Phodric Dormond and Dr. Haldric Maldian, despite being critical of both. He previously served as the Fostana Advisor of Economic Affairs during the Fostana period.
