The flower festival is a town event that runs from the first sunday to the second sunday in April. During this time, all the townspeople will have flowers at the forefront of their minds as they compete to win the coveted Green Thumb title. This title is awarded to the citizen with the best garden at the end of the week. The prize is award by Tortimer on the second Sunday.
