Coconut

Coconuts are one of the fruit available in AC:WW. They are unique in that they are not native to any town, and they will not grow when planted inland (as all the other fruit do). To grow a coconut tree (which also looks very different from the other trees), the coconut must be planted within 10 squares away from the beach. Coconuts will sell to Tom Nook for 500 bells.

Coconuts are only naturally found as one of the items that drift ashore.

Unlike other fruits, coconuts cannot be consumed, save for the exception of Wendell, who seems to have no problem chewing through the tough husk.

When you plant a coconut tree, you might get interesting bugs on the tree in summer.
