Thre are many types of buildings in animal crossing.

[edit] TYPE 1 HOUSES

1 is owned by the player and is a house and the player can move furniture an past Wallpaper and carpet as they please. These can be upgraded by Tom Nook to one sotries and mansions

The second sort of houses are Villagers Houses. each villager(NPC) has a different house. these can only be entered when the villager is inside the house and is not sleeping. Every town has different style of houses. Player can look in draws and wardrobe (but take no items) sit on chairs and sleep on beds and see what music is playing and turn on tvs but cannot take furniture. when villagers move out there houses go aswell

[edit] TYPE 2 PERMANENT BUILDINGS

The permanent buildings are in every town and never change except Tom Nooks store which upgrades. these include - The Town Hall, The Museum, The Gate, Tom Nooks Store and Able Sisters. These are run by NPC Blathers(Museum) Pelly, Phyllis and Pete(Town Hall) Copper&Booker(Gate).

Non permanent buildings are buildings taht come and go through every town. these are Katrinas tent and Crazy Redds Tent
