Eastern Region is clearly the dominating force of regions on the East Coast, divided into two councils encompassing each of its respective states, North Carolina Council (NCC) and Virginia Council (VAC). The region is currently comprimised of 20 chapters - 8 AZA, 9 BBG, 2 BBYO, and 1 BBYO chapter under development. The regional director is Ellen Goldstein (aka "Mama E") and her regional office is located in Charlotte, NC.
