Other mad inventions include two sorts of pigeon-targeted rockets. In one case they target pigeons in the other they use pigeons as the targeting computer. There is also The Panadrum, This is basicaly a barrel of HE placed on the axle between two giant Catherine wheels. Equally there is the submersible canoe.

Note that since Elled is based upon Britain the maddest contraptions are refered to as Heath Robinson not Rube Goldberg.
