Government and politics

Political system=

The Confederate States of America enjoys a government that has grown since it's independent from the USA to follow more traditional lines and beliefs in it's actions.

The branches of the government are as follows.

  • - The High Priest of The White God (Executive Branch) which is chosen directly by TWG himself and are generally AngelKin.
  • - The Imperial Senate of the Confederate States of America (Legislative Branch) that is voted by those that hold suffrage (limited to all men and female Angelkin). Members of the Senate take their position after a review by the Council of Guardians which reviews all candidates for the Senate to determine their worthiness to "serve The White God".
  • - The Law Lords (Judicial Branch) which is picked internally from the aristocracy (mostly composed of the Angelkin but with some human males included as well). To be made a Law Lord, a person needs nine-tenths approval among st the aristocracy in order to be granted the honour of being a Law Lord.

All three branches hold power other the other two, but any Holy Decree directly from TWG supersedes all three branches of government.
