Yoshi's mugshots, officially released by the French Police Force.

Yoshi is a pickle-shaped dinosaur who first appeared in episode 22 of Dora the Explorer. After the cancellation of Dora the Explorer (induced by a string of bad reviews), people were trying to find a place where to put Yoshi-if they should forget him or keep him in TV or something. They put him in Mario games as a dinosaur who eats everything but nothing.

Yoshi is infamous for a failed scandal where he attempted to smuggle cheese into the Real World. Although the plan was working out quite well for Yoshi and his accomplice, the Foreign Legion soon found Yoshi and had him thrown in jail with the charges of speeding, attempted murder, bad cooking, and having a nose 22 square inches larger than is legal. Yoshi was then thrown in the French Bastille, but tempted the officers with bacon and successfully escaped. It is unknown what Yoshi did afterwards, but it has been theorized that he moved to a different town and assumed the name "Gunpei Yokoi". This theory, despite being supported by several scientists, is theoretical, though; Yoshi has appeared as himself and under the name "Yoshi" as one of the Iron Chefs in Iron Chef.

He reportedly beat someone up somewhere and then escaped to his hideout with the help of the Evil Guy, but this is unconfirmed.

The last anyone heard of Yoshi was in the game King Donkey. Here, in this fighting game, he battled his enemy Donkey Kong.
