Wishbone

From Torg Adventure

The kitchen was filled with the splendid aromas of roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, several hot pies, candied yams, cranberries, and more that couldn't be identified. Charlie carved the turkey, laying thick slices of white meat on the fancy gilt-edged platter. The whir of the electric carving knife drowned out the cacophony of voices coming from the other room.

Man buys a turkey from a short, funny-looking man in the parking lot of the grocery store. The man says its a magic turkey.

When he gets home, he roasts it, then carves it. He puts the carcase in the fridge overnight, and the turkey is whole again in the morning. The family eats turkey for the next month, but they are tired of it, so the man makes soup from it.

He takes the wishbone out of the soup and offers to make a wish to his wife. He wins, picks something outlandish, and gets it. So does his wife.

The next day, the wishbone is whole again. They wish, and this time, his wife wins and gets her wish, but the husband gets her wish as well.
