Wake her gently

Chuck decided to wake her by moving her slightly, the same way he had his own mother when he found her sleeping.

He put both hands on her shoulder, and started to lightly move her back-and-forth.

"Ms. Wheeler," he said quietly. When there was no answer, he repeated it louder.

"Ms. Wheeler!" he said. Still seeing and hearing no response, he continued the simultaneous call and action a few more times. Finally, her eyes began to flicker open.

"Chuck!" she said, turning onto her side to face him.

Suddenly, she realized her current state, and crossed her arms to cover herself, though Chuck realized this did not accomplish it fully.

"What are you doing back here? Why didn't you knock?!" she asked.

"Your note said not to," he told her.

"It did?!" she asked.

Pausing to think a moment, she finally said, "Oh, yes; the note."

Finally, she seemed to relax, laying on her back again on the chair.

"Well then, I suppose this is what I wanted you to do," she said. "It's just that I wish I could've had the chance to uncover this... And try it."

Chuck noticed she was pointing at a finger at the hot tub.

"Well," he said, starting to return the way he came, "I can come back later."

He then bent over, looking for something he could write his number down on.

"Do you want to call me when you're done in the tub?" he asked.

"Oh, Chuck," she said.

Her other hand reached out towards him, and he noticed it heading for the fly of his jeans.

"I was referring to the tub, yes,... But also to you."
