Groogla emerges
From Torg Adventure
It took several hours before the beast emerged from its lair. In your honest opinion ugly was to weak a word to describe this monster. Groogla stood around eight feet tall and looked to be four hundred pounds of pure fat and covered in dark brown fur, its beady little eyes scanned the area around it, the comically large nose expanded and retracted, obviously in an attempt to smell any prey nearby. You could sense the apprehension and excitement emanating off the surrounding goblins as they glared at the vile creature.
Reading a rudimentary spell you gesture to the surrounding goblins to get ready. They look at you and move off in anticipation of whatever it is your going to do. After a few moments the goblins were in position to strike, spears at the ready. Standing and leaping onto the path in front of the creature effectively catching its attention. Groogla let out a mighty roar filled with phlegm and foul breath and began to stumble towards you, raising the log over its head in preparation to pulverize you.
With a feral grin you thrust your hand out towards the creature, releasing the spell into Grooglas face. Pure mystic energy shot through the air and slightly distorted reality until it made contact with Grooglas face. The creatures face collapsed in on itself with flesh being torn away and blood gushing out of open wounds. Groogla let out several roars and released its hold on the log to bring both its hands to cover its face. A roar erupted out from the trees and behind rocks as the goblins charged. The following could only be called a murder. The Groogla managed to put up a mediocor defense, kicking and slapping away goblins. Eventually however through the combination of mystic skull collapse and around fifty smallish spears sticking out of its body the Groogla fell with a resounding thud and the cry of victory filled the area as the goblins who survived the ambush began dancing over the Grooglas body.
